well,
mine was wen I was in Benin
I ran laundry and to some extent it was successful. I had 3boys working for me . I had a keke which I use in delivering to my customer who re in far distance. then I had a friend who told me about a business which he ll like use to go into. the business was into phone accessories coupled with phone parts. I agreed, I rented the shop at oba market, did furnishing and other body works. during this time I borrowed money from lapo microfinance 300k, borrowed money from money lender about 580k. then I gave osas my friend to come to Lagos to buy the goods we re going to sell in our shop. osas come Lagos, osas no come back. I was so worried I had to go to his family house to know if his back but they said they didn't see him. I called his number and his number was switched off. call his gf and she said she doesn't know his were about. after a month I heard osas don go Malaysia. I ran back to his family house to ask his pple if it true. low and behold osas don travel and he knew I borrowed almost all those money for the business. I almost died. the pressure started coming in as to pay the loans I collected back. I had to sell my two washing machine, my dryer, and my keke and other tins from my shop and house to pay some of the debt. I had to let go of my two staff till I cud pay the money. but after every tin I found Benin uninteresting again cus I Ve lost every tin I Ve built over the years because of one person. I had to move from my room and palour selfcon to a one room, face me I face you, cus I cudnt afford it. my gf left me cus I too de complain money no de as b4. after the whole gbas gbos I relocated to Lagos for a fresh start as not kill my self cus of too much tinking and pressure. till today I pray for osas were ever he is, he ll find good in all he does. but I ll never trust any body again not even my family member. note trust is very expensive
D guy is a silent killer. How can you run away with borrowed money?!

I was betrayed at work by my superior and it cost me my job, there's a document called P.T.W. " Permit to work document ". It's a written legal document that grant permission and authorization to commence a task. Usually high risk task, my immediate boss and i are both signatories to that document, i.e. I have to sign and my immediate boss as well. I did my part. Inspect work areas, got authorized by the PM and only needed my direct boss to sign to commence operation. I called him on radio as I was on the site. I.e an high rise tower of 34 floors and we were on the 34th level, My boss gave me a verbal permission to tell the guys to commence work even without him signing the permit. I was adamant and reluctant saying it's was against ethical practice, but he insisted that there isn't any problem. So I gave the go ahead only to be called that the companies "HSE Manger" is on site and on her way to supervise our activity, I was worried but not bothered as I was only following instructions from senior supervisor beside he is to take the blame. How wrong was I, to my uttermost surprise my boss denied me and claim he wasn't even aware of the designated task. I was shocked, I couldn't even say a word other workers came to my aid and said he was lying but all fell on deaf ears. This is a man I trusted so much as I have never in my life thought that this man can do such, my appointment was terminated for incompetency. It's painful but I have forgiven him. My only mistake was TRUST.
So sad.

Have you noticed how they become angry and resort to insults whenever this juju ideology of theirs is challenged? II've also come to a conclusion that most cultists were from the onset before initiation vulnerable to mind control and manipulation albeit, some could have been academically sound at some point. This means that academic excellence doesn't make a person immune to mind control.A person with a fully developed cognitive functioning can't be vulnerable to fallacy and mind control. These set of people with low mental strength will always believe they are normal, and those who do not share their mental state are called Jews,or ajebutter or unexposed.

Do you know the reason why insults are flying in your direction?

This is where it all starts from. You got to be very careful. She can make or mar you. Before falling in love with your staff, do a due diligence check on her properly. You can arrange with someone she doesn't know to come and act like your boss and be giving you instructions and treating you like a boy boy. He can even insult you and ask you to kneel down for one offence or the other. Basically just let him reduce you to the level of the other staffs and then, you'd confess that you are not the owner of the business and that it belongs to this your boss. Do it and find out how she reacts to you. Even if it takes six months of playing the game, do it and observe her behavior. The rest is left for you to decide after you have made your discovery.

You guys should read before commenting.I never suggested that cultism is non existent.Like your point here about your guy; the event didn't happen to you in person but your friend, which leaves room for scrutiny that if investigated may be found to be true, half true or entirely false.Just because white men visit a native doctors shrine doesn't validate anything.White people also believe in astronomy which is unscientific and baseless.

I called that guys write up on juju fiction because I've heard same story way back in secondary School same way some myths like madam koskos one shoe was wide spread amongst children in my childhood days.

My criticism of that writers post was centered on the juju part and not the subcultural tendencies of cult gangs.

From time immemorial, the potency of juju had always been in doubt by so many people. So you won't be the first or the last to doubt the power of juju.

Allow them to exaggerate the juju part of their stories as much as they like. Bottom line is those who will still believe their stories would. There's no screenplay nor perfect ending here. It's what it is, in whatever form it might come: "SORROW, TEARS AND BLOOD"!

In 2020, you telling me the No 1 man of a country is not afraid to die.

"He was" is different from "He is". This statements matter alot in professionalism.
I'm not a Chadian. Whatever he chooses to do with his life is none of my business. I'm sure he knows the implications of his actions.

About professionalism, do you have evidence that his presence will cause more harm than good on the battlefield?

We talking about the President of a Nation here being in the frontlines. That's not leadership but stupidity. He is not a combatant, Airforce nor Navy. Putting life at risk to such an extent is stupidity.

Only in Africa would you commend such. With all the experts at his disposal, he choose to go to the fronts. Let's imagine a shoot-out happens and he dies, will you say he died as a brave man?

Where is it done in any industry or terrain where a leader who lacks expertise and compentency in a division, take charge.

Like I stated earlier, it's just like applauding MTN CEO for climbing a 100 meter tower because their is a major outage.

It's outrightly stupidity. Nothing warrants him to be in the fronts.
He is/was a military man. Read up his biography. Do you know how many rebellion he led/survived during his hey-days in the Chadian army? His choice/actions may look stupid to you but he's not afraid of death from what I can see. Besides, he has a Prime Minister who will take over immediately if something untowards happen to him.

Joseph and Mary were historically second cousins based on anthropological accounts, though not explicitly recorded in the Bible.

Albert Eistein married his first cousin

Australia, south America, some areas in North America, north Africa and southeast asean countries allow cousin marriage

northern Nigeria allow cousin marriage

in my opinion, cousin offspring is genetically dangerous... Igbo don't allow cousin marriage..it is a taboo.. I don't know for Yoruba.

Advise you brother if you confirm your suspicion. a sincere prayer for forgiveness from God and complete seperation of your brother and cousin will remedy the situation. no more visitation.
It's a taboo in Yoruba tradition and culture.

Reps donate two-month salary to fight against coronavirus

Members of the house of representatives have resolved to donate their salary of two months to support the fight against coronavirus, according to Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker.

In a video message on Tuesday, Gbajabiamila said the salary being forfeited to the federal government will be independent of the individual contributions the lawmakers may decide to make.

TheCable understands the monthly salary of each of the 360 members of the green chamber ranges from N600, 000 to N1 million.

Senators and ministers earlier donated 50 percent of their salaries to the same cause.

The speaker said the money is meant to alleviate the hardship that their constituents face at this time of national emergency.

“We have in the house of representatives jointly committed to contributing one hundred per cent (100%) of our salaries for the next two months to the fight against COVID-19 in Nigeria,” Gbajabiamila said.

“Starting from March salary, the lawmakers’ donation will be transferred directly to the National Relief Fund account for the fight against COVID-19.

“Our contribution will support provisions for the welfare of front-line medical professionals and health workers, and other interventions to provide for the well-being of all Nigerians through these trying times.

“Accordingly, I have directed the clerk to the national assembly to see to it that all members’ salaries are transferred to the national relief fund for this month and the next.”

Gbajabiamila added that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) should also make cash grants available to the 774 local government areas in the country to alleviate the suffering of the masses amid the pandemic.

He said the grant should be for the provision of food and other essentials to at-risk individuals and communities.

He also said relevant house committees have been mandated to oversee the distribution of items donated by local and foreign donors to ensure proper management.

“This crisis has exposed in the worst possible way the evident weaknesses of our health system,” the speaker added.

“After this is over and moving forward, we must do everything in our power to ensure that we will never again come upon a moment such as this, as ill-equipped as we are now.”

As of Tuesday morning, Nigeria has recorded 135 cases of the coronavirus out of which there two fatalities.

Health / Coronavirus: Nigeria May Not Need Many Ventilators For Patients – Minister by mistarsam(m): 3:20pm On Mar 31, 2020
The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, at a press briefing on the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria

Nigeria may not need many ventilators for the treatment of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients, the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has said

Mr Ehanire while answering questions from journalists, on Monday, agreed that the country does not have enough of the medical equipment needed to stabilise a respiratory distressed patient.

The shortage of ventilators in the country has been a source of concern for many Nigerians including lawmakers and public health experts.

A ventilator, a machine that pumps air in and out of the lungs, is needed to assist some patients to breathe.

COVID-19 is a disease that affects the respiratory system, hence the number of hospitalised patients that would need breathing assistance is likely to also increase if the ailment spikes in Nigeria.

This has been evident in other countries where the aliments are being treated.

However, Mr Ehanire said most of the cases handled so far in the country have been mild and as such the country might not need to stock or purchase respirators to manage patients during the outbreak.

As of Monday night, Nigeria has recorded 131 cases of COVID-1919 and two deaths.

No enough ventilators

Speaking to journalists at the joint national briefing of the Presidential Task Force in Abuja on Monday, the minister said no country has enough ventilators.

“There is no one country in this world that has enough ventilators. You know in one major country we all know, the president of that country (I don’t want to mention names) ordered a major automobile company to stop and start manufacturing ventilators

“Also in other European country, they also ordered them to start because they didn’t have enough.

“So for ventilators, we can say we don’t have enough. Of all the cases we have had so far, only one actually requires a ventilator, the others didn’t require ventilator,” he said.

Mr. Ehanire said if the need for ventilator arises, the available ones will be moved to the state where it is needed.

“Like I said, probably just 4 per cent or less of the cases that you get requires ventilator.

“What we have done beyond taking inventory of the ventilators in government hospitals, We have gone far to take inventory of what is in private hospital and they are ready to make them available to us

”We have an arrangement that makes it possible that if you need more ventilators in Abuja we can send them from Lagos.

“If Lagos needs more ventilators, we can bring them from Enugu or anywhere so that we can be able to meet our needs as they are.

“The number of ventilators you have is not exactly what will determine your survival but we have the strategy to be able to carry ventilators from one place to the other,” he said.

He said early detection of cases will help patients not get into the state of requiring a ventilator.
