Was so excited about it ...Have been coughing and having sore throat even before I decided to take the test after experiencing strange symptoms. Wasn't allowed to take any drugs even till now. My problem now is this high fever I have from 7pm till the following morning. Sabi mama's abeg is it normal? Is it not supposed to be morning sickness and not night sickness? Can I start antenatal now? I don't want anything to happen to my baby...

Welcome onboard mama. I think its best you see your doc. It's too early to start antenatal but he'll tell you what and what to take or do till your antenatal date.
For the fever, i had it non-stop for one week in my 3rd week of pregnancy. You should also tell your doc about it, and he might prescribe pcm for you.

I think its because of the iron in it. Some women react negatively to iron supplement in first trimester, but others don't.
Just speak to your doctor sha before making any decision.

Pregnacare isn't bad o. I'll only leave it aside until after first trimester is over before i continue. You know people's body system differ.
But for now, i'm pausing. Because there is no point feeling very sick to the point of fainting because i want to take pregnacare by force.
There are also different types. Mine is the pregnacare Max. Other types might not have such effect. Different strokes for different folks.
But i'll definitely continue after first trimester, so i'm not bashing it

I knew that and i've been following the instructions. I eat it with my fullest meal. Most times eba sef.

I've discovered the cause of my severe morning sickness that has made me hospitalized for days now. Pregnacare max!
Ever since i stopped, i felt better, and appetite returned a bit. My MS has been so terrible that dh and mil have been scared. I've lost almost 5kg.
I'll just keep it in one corner till first trimester is over and revert to my folic acid, fesolate, calcium and bcomplex. Nor be me first carry belle. I can't die ontop

ps........i hate drugs that was why i went for pregenacare care cause i have to take one tablet only.

Same issue i had. I don't think you hate drugs as much as i do. When i switched to folic acid, fesolate, calcium and Bcomplex, i felt better. Less nausea, vomitting and all.
But i was told to continue the pregnacare as the benefits far outweigh the effects. Eba or semo should be your favourite drug companion

I'm fine dear. Just got discharged from the hospital yday.
MS was really dealing with me. Had to be given some drips to increase hydration and injection too. I feel a bit better now. I'm just counting the weeks remaining till i enter 2nd trimester

Hello mamas, i don't know what caused this but i just felt myself bleeding and jumped out of the bed. Before i got to the bathroom, my legs and floor were all covered in blood. Bright red blood. I've been given progesterone shots for two weeks before when last it happened. Anyone experienced such and still had a healthy baby?

I had same first trimester symptom. Try eating water melon @ night, u will feel a lot better in d morn, then a little in d morn. It helps with d spitting too. All d best.

I don cry tire Am in the 2nd Trimester and I still carry my Pringles container of Spit. For me, I make sure to brush and throw all up in the morning before breakfast, That way, it easier. When I remember it's all for my baby, I just smile Na part of the goody bag

my dear i undertand how you are feeling,if someone told me that i would be drinking water like a frog and eating every available food i would have laugh at that person face.just have it in mind that it would pass.anyway the only thing that worked for me is that before any meal i would brush my teeth with a very minty paste like oral b or closeup it really worked for me,nothing else did. and please stay positive because depression would make you hate everybody around you oooo...

Thanks dear. It's hard to stay positive but i'll try my best. I tried that brushing of teeth, but it triggers my throwing up so i stopped brushing before every meal.

Pele mitchyy......my own spitting,no b here. I vomit once a day nd most times,its wen i'm hungry. I eat evry 3hrs, in small quantities,otherwise I start to throw up. Nd d food has to be swallow or rice,nothing else. I'm weak too. God dey. It's 4 a while. I pray it ends with this 1st trimester. Pele.

Thanks dear. My problem is the only thing entering this stomach now is peppersoup. If i dare put as small as a spoon of rice, noodles, yam or moin moin in my mouth, my stomach will immediately become gassy and i'll start rolling on the floor with pains. I tot i would be like my mom who has almost zero symptoms for all her pregnancies. I've not stepped out of my gate for more than two weeks now. It's all good sha. I pray its over soon

This morning sickness is really one of the worst things ever. I'm so exhausted. Yesterday after managing to put one or two things in my stomach, i threw up at night. My whole body is like dodo. I'm so weak and restless and dizzy.
I don't want to say i'm tired but this is really tiring. Most times i just break down and cry

exactly. ...... a small fibroid was also detected in me too. But pelvic pain is normal signs of pregnancy just as we hv some ppl vomiting and spitting wch I never experienced

You didn't vomit or spit? Please i need to tap into that o. My mouth has turned to water fountain. And instead of dh to help me when i vomit, he'll be documenting it with his camera

@All other mother dat had or still having cramps or pains mine was d worst I hv seen I never knew I was preggy..I cldnt stand well it was lik bruises inside my tommy but it all disappeared after my 1st trimester. Now am 20weeks but if I sit on a spot for long I feel pains down my pelvic.... it will all end wit hallelujah

I also had severe cramps that would make me roll in pains. After an abdominal pelvic scan, a very tiny fibroid was detected and the dr said its the cause of the pain. But its too small to cause any harm so i shouldn't be worried
