Yayyyy! Finally got my BFP last week. Its really good to talk to other women about your issue o.
Here is what i did differently this time:
- Took my Folic acid everyday without skipping a day
- Chewed almond nuts every single day without skipping a day
- Took at least one apple daily without skipping a day
- Used my cervical mucus to determine fertile days and ovulation day. The OPK i used was messing with my head and reading wrongly
- Stayed away from s*x with dh during the 2WW
- Had more than enough rest during the 2WW
- Acted like the baby was already there. Kept telling my baby how much i love him/her (Sounds stupid sha, but i was willing to try anything)
- Finally but not the least, i and dh specifically begged Jehovah God to grant us our request

Just felt like sharing, even though i know some have been trying for years and months despite all this.
Your prayers will all be answered this month and soon you'll migrate to the pregnancy thread. Baby dust to you all!

It's so amazing to know you have met every single lady who is a member of Jehovah's Witnesses for you to draw that conclusion. If you read the op's list of facts, we mentioned that we sin too. We are not perfect. So judging an entire group of over 7 million persons with the act of one or two persons is just absurd and ridiculous.

One of the major challenge we face discussing issues on social media. People become unnecessarily rude and disrespectful because they know we do not get provoked. We just have to be patient and apply wisdom in our responses

As for the issue raised of witnesses not being allowed to marry non-witnesses: We don't have any law stating that. If one of Jehovah's Witnesses decide to marry someone who isn't a witness, he doesn't get kicked out as people claim. It's between you and your conscience. But when the issues typical of a couple having different religious beliefs kick in, you have yourself to blame.
I personally couldn't imagine myself marrying someone who at this point, will be preparing for Christmas, when i definitely don't believe in the celebration. There are so many issues that might arise. That's just analyzing it without the scriptural backup that says "marry only in the lord".
I'm happily married to someone who shares same belief as i do. If others choose otherwise, its their cup of tea. Not a crime punishable as believed by many

Just got my BFP yesterday. It's so amazing to know you are about to bring someone to life for the very first time. I'm so excited!!!
My funny question is, what next? I was only told by the doctor to wait for my anc when i'm 12wks.

sounds like you are pregnant. why don't you do a blood pregnancy test to confirm,or you wait till you are due and take a home pregnancy test. That's if you know you have been sexually active. I am not a doctor,just sharing what I think.

Thanks for the response. Yes i've been sexually active for the past 5 months since i got married. But just started trying for a baby in August. I did a HPT this morning and its negative. Are the blood tests better? Or maybe i'll just wait till my period is due. I just felt the cramps were abnormal.
