Hello mamas, is it okay to keep soaking garri everyday with beans?
That is the heaviest food i discovered i can take for now. Apart from that, i can only take fruits and golden morn. Sometimes i have heartburn immediately after eating it, but sometimes i dont. I soak the garri with chilled water and sugar and it satisfies me. But i've been taking it for 3days on a roll now. Hope its not getting too much?

I really don't think you have an issue. Brown spotting that only happened for a day, and then reappeared in two weeks doesn't sound like an issue. You might be using a hammer to kill a fly by asking for medications. If your obgyn says its no problem, then just relax dear

I don't really know much about this but most preggie mamas have stomach pain during pregnancy as a result of the uterus lining stretching. If it becomes unbearable then she should see her doctor asap.
Also remind her to avoid lying on her back or tummy. She should practice lying on her side, especially the left side to aid blood flow.

Other more experienced mamas can torchlight the matter for you. She'll be fine

Teamie, brown spotting in most cases is normal as long as it's not accompanied by stomach cramps. According to a dr, its probably old blood finding its way out. I think its nothing to worry about since it doesn't happen everyday. If it turns bright red, then you should be concerned. Just relax okay?

mama in the house am getting depressed everyday ooo.i have been trying to fight this bleeding for a long time and its not just working.i have gone to a lot of obgyn in portharcout and they would be able to stop the bleeding for that time just for it to start the next week.i have been placed on duphostan and other hormonal injection too.funny enough they always tell me my baby is okay and its getting bigger by the day.am just worried to why i would be bleeding while am in my 18-19 weeks.so depressed.
they couldnt find any fibroid and my cervix is closed.

I had bleeding issues too and the scan showed my cervix is closed, so i was placed on bed rest. I was seeing bright red blood and sometimes it'll even stain my legs before i rush to the toilet. But right now, i haven't bled for a month and i pray it stays that way.
Here are the dos and donts if you bleed:
-Strict bed rest for two weeks. Strict as in, you won't even see how your gate looks like. When they placed me on bed rest, i was still stubbornly moving about and the bleeding didn't stop until i obeyed dr orders.
-Never carry any heavy object. E.g Big kettle filled with water, bucket, waste bin, stool and the likes
- Get enough rest. Sleep as much as you can.

According to the dr, its threatened mc, so he asked me to be very careful. A friend who had similar issues, didnt listen to dr orders on the strict bed rest and sadly she lost her baby after bleeding non-stop.
Try these out and don't be depressed or anxious or even cry, trust me, it makes it worse.
If the bleeding is not also accompanied by stomach cramp, then your baby might be fine.

So sorry dear. The hospital i use is Vigor hospital at Abijo, close to Ajah. The obgyn Dr Clem is very very good. Almost all the mamas i know use him. He doesnt ask for blood donation or do blood transfusion. Antenatal days are Wednesdays.
St Nicholas hospital at Obalende is also very good and it should be closer to you. Heard the doctors there are professionals

Finally got the perfect antidote for my ms. Woohoooo! I'm so happy. Ever since my dr prescribed B6, my nausea has completely disappeared. I can now drink tons of water without vomiting, so no more dehydration. You need to see the way i drink water now as if person wan snatch am from my hand.
I no longer wake up feeling weak. I haven't even felt the urge to throw up at all. Maybe its partly because i'm approaching my 12th week. Thank Jehovah o.
I'm wondering why dr didn't give me this drug all this while i was suffering.
Patiently waiting for my apetite to return and the food aversion to stop.

So i threw up three times today and i've been feeling really weak. So i decided to see my obgyn if there is anything i can take, because it was getting unbearable. I went there thinking i had the worst ms in the world.
Only to meet another preggie mama and dr said, madam pls tell her what you are going thru. The woman said she just vomited for the 18th time
And she also sees traces of blood in her vomit. I nor fit shout o. I just jejely collect the B6 dr prescribed and carry my small sef come back home. Dh just dey laugh me.
Its just sad what most women go thru, all in the process of bringing someone to life. I carry bumbum for all mamas. Una try!

Congrats and welcome. You've officially been logged under #teamjuly! Its okay to feel normal. Not everyone gets to suffer morning sickness. At this stage, i think you ought to have seen a doc or done a scan to hear your baby's heartbeat and to assure yourself that everything is okay.

As for the pregnacare, it isn't bad. Some react to it, others don't. Just find what works for you. By the way, you ought to have started these prenatal drugs since now. Have you been taking any?

Well to cut the long story short, she headed back by 11pm as she didn't want to take chances... Lol and behold she was 4cm, den birthed at 1:02 am to a baby geh....
