Flintstones and powerpuff girls ![]() |
Someone I know just applied. Wish him the best |
Are you serious ? I think its owing to the fact that Yoruba is one of the most widely spoken language in Nigeria. |
These challenges can be tackled if you mean business. Poor electricity? Get a generator set that consumes less fuel. Poor internet, get a better internet provider. I subscribe monthly for swift so I can have rest of mind. I don't bother myself with mtn, glo and the likes. People thinking you're into internet scam, just ignore them and redirect that time and energy towards building your brand. |
Not sure it belongs to Benin people sha. But our own(isoko/urhobo) style of cooking it is different. We don't add starch to the soup, we use garri soaked in water to thicken. Then use potash (kanwu) to make it foam or sth like that. Your recipe appears great tho |
I doff my wig for you. ![]() Reminds me of how many times I've had to transform my dog back to his initial healthy state after friends take him for weeks. Some people say they r dog lovers but treat their dogs like poo. Your dog will always thank you for 'rescuing' him. |
pretydiva:Most persons don't believe she's the same person she. This is the best makeup transformation I've ever seen. |
I think she meant to use the look for something sha. I prefer the transformed look @lalasticlala, let others decide |
This photo was shared by Inglot Cosmetics Nigeria - @inglotnigeria. According to them, this lady asked for this particular look and their makeup artist delivered. Seriously, is there anything makeup artists can't do these days?

kelomo:How much is the office space for a year? |
My WhatsApp contact .... |
Prodeegee:How can I get this in small size? |
Prodeegee:Didn't know there are tees. How much does it cost? What color is it? |
Tylerdan:That would be amazing. I'm in lekki-ajah axis. Are we supposed to register to participate or something? |
Tylerdan:I can't drive alone with him. I'll definitely crash the car. He is always restless and pants non-stop when he's in motion. It distracts me a lot. Really wish there can be a dog walk too on the island. Will readily bring him ![]() |
Prodeegee:What about those living on the island? Bringing Elmo all the way to Ikeja might be very tasky as he doesn't enjoy long rides. |
Cute dogs ![]() |
I'm still trying to understand the concept behind Van Vicker's look. Love the suit. White always looks good on him. But i think the striped shirt is quite off. By the way, I hate his shoes and the way the shoelace is trying to get popular ![]() |
Thanks everyone!!! Really appreciate it . Adaeze003 pics are up on our wedding website www.zeemich.com |
Mine happened in GTB at airport road, Warri two months back when I wanted to register for my BVN. The lady in charge, Joan (I tried not to forget the name because I intended to report but forgot) was just so rude to people registering that I couldn't help but ask her what the problem really is. People were asking her questions and she answered back in a rude way. When I got to my turn, of course all my questions were met with rude answers. I swallowed it because highest her pay nor pass 150k. What flared up was when an old man came over to the her 'double' table to fill his bvn form. She said "Oga pls move to the other side". The man moved to one end. She said "Oga, shift" in a very disrespectful way. The old man said " why don't you explain gently where I can stay to fill the form insteading of directing me like a baby?". She sighed and ignored him. A man old enough to be her dad. Yes, she didn't directly insult anyone but her attitude was just not it at all. Everyone there faced the same fate with her. I quietly did my registration and walked away with this look of pity on my face. Because however you treat people's mothers and fathers is a huge evidence of how bad your upbringing is. |
Maybe because its more like a snack for some. And people most times use it to supplement alcohol when they visit bars at night, hence the reason why people don't waste their time making suya during the day |
joywendy:Sorry dear. Been so busy with my wedding. I'm back now ![]() |
andyanders:Thanks for million for your good wishes. Appreciate them ![]() |
riskit33:Thanks a lot. My folks are not finding easy, especially mum |
Now this just brought tears to my eyes. My two elder brothers, Abel and Amos did same thing. Its been 7 years now and not a word from them. When I think about it, my entire day gets ruined. I really hope they are still alive |
andyanders:My wedding took place May 23rd |
andyanders:Nikky? ![]() |
daamazing:Lol. They didn't mention Lalasticlala o. |
ACCELERATE TV https://www.acceleratetv.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/engagement-ring.jpg Congratulations, you finally found your soul mate, and it’s not that popular hair cream. You’ve found your better half and you know exactly how and when you want to propose. But one thing remains: getting the perfect engagement ring, a ring that would symbolize how much you love and appreciate her. It is a challenge because, not only do you have to get the right one, you also have to stick to a budget. Fear not brother, the cavalry is here to help you out with these tips on how to pick the perfect engagement ring. Have a budget Before you even start flipping through online catalogues and jewelry shops, you should have a budget to go with. This way you know exactly how much you should spend, and go straight to rings in that category. This cuts down the time and decision you need to make on getting a suitable ring. Know her ring size Well, now you know exactly how much you want to spend on the ring, you need to find out her size. Nothing ruins the moment more than getting the imperfect size of the perfect ring. As in, just imagine how embarrassed you’ll be if you get on one knee, and the ring refuses to enter. Or you get a size bigger than her finger, and she has to get very fat so the ring will stop slipping off… To avoid any of these, get hold of one of her fashion costume rings from her jewelry box, or make her ‘forget’ it with you. If she does not wear fashion rings, you can rectify this by buying her a set of costume jewelry on a shopping trip. There, problem solved. https://www.acceleratetv.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/ring.jpg Don’t take her along While some men would take their girlfriends along to get a ring that fits, you should be more creative with your approach. You wouldn’t want to miss the look on her face when you propose with a ring that is not only her size, but her taste as well, right? Right. Think of the demi-god status you would attain in that moment, her friends would be envious, her family would say you are the man and well, your unmarried friends would be inspired. But, sometimes, it may not happen this way. If she insists on going with you to pick the ring, well your work is done, just pay up, and get it done with already. Know her style Is she a lady of simple tastes? Or does the big, elaborate, and flashy call to her? Since you already know her size, you should now think of her style and taste, because even though the ring is a symbol of your love, it should also reflect her taste and your perceptiveness in knowing it. So, take note of the kind of jewelry she wears. Is she a fan of gold? Or does she prefer silver or colourful stones? Does she go for really subtle jewelry or the ‘bling bling’? Also take her personality into consideration. Is she the outgoing type that would flash her ring, or the quiet shy type? If you’re still at loss, go window-shopping at a jewelry shop with her. Pretend you’re only interested in the wristwatches, and then look out for the pieces she lingers on when she thinks you are not looking. That’s it bro. So there, you have a budget, you know her style and taste, and you know her ring size. All that’s left is for you to be awesome. Will you be awesome? ACCELERATE TV https://www.acceleratetv.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Chest.jpg Did you know that breast cancer – which is widely thought to affect only the women folk – also affects men too? Breast cancer occurs in the breast tissue. The normal breast tissue in a man’s “breast” is not fully developed and resembles those found in the breasts of a girl before puberty. However, this tiny breast tissue makes some men susceptible to breast cancer. Although breast cancer occurs in one of every 100,000 men each year, perhaps the most difficult challenge is the lack of awareness that this ailment affects men too. How it develops Breast cancer in men usually develops in the tiny breast tissue behind the nipples. The common symptom is a hard painless lump. Now, this symptom doesn’t necessarily mean a man has cancer. A non-cancerous condition called ‘gynaecomastia’ causes the male breast tissue to become enlarged too. But, it’s better to be safe than sorry, so if you notice hard or swollen nipple, report it to a doctor so that tests will be carried out. Risk, and causes of breast cancer It is usually rare for men below 35years of age to get breast cancer. Most men diagnosed are usually between the ages of 60 and 70. But the risk factors that makes a man prone to breast cancer are: High oestrogen levels Every man produces some amount of oestrogen. However, high levels of oestrogen has been linked to breast cancer. Men who are really overweight are at high risk because oestrogen is partly made in the fat tissues of the body. High alcohol intake High alcohol intake leads to chronic liver conditions such as cirrhosis. This makes one also susceptible to breast cancer. Family History or inherited faulty genes As with women, males who have female relatives, (mothers or sisters) with breast cancer are also at high risk of developing breast cancer. Inherited faulty genes are also a major cause of breast cancer in men, because 15–20 out of every 100 diagnosed men are related to inherited faulty genes. Exposure to radiation High exposure to radiation repeatedly over a long time is also one of the causes of breast cancer in men. It is especially true if the exposure started at a young age Klinefelter’s syndrome This is a rare genetic condition where a man is born with an extra female chromosome, i.e., he is XXY instead of XY. Men with this condition are about 20 times more prone to breast cancer than men with the XY chromosome. Symptoms of breast cancer in men: The most common symptom is a hard painless lump in the nipple, but others include Swelling of the breast Soreness in the skin of the breast Discharge from the nipple, including blood. Nipple retraction. Here the nipple is pulled back into the breast. Lumps under the arm. If you or a family member experiences these symptoms, it is best not to assume, but visit your physician immediately. Treatment for breast cancer in men: The same method used for treating breast cancer in women is the same for men. Although the treatment is also dependent on the stage of cancer progress, and how far it has spread. The common methods are. Surgery Radiotherapy Chemotherapy Hormone therapy Biological therapy. Early detection is the key to combating and saving lives from breast cancer. Always report cases of strange lumps around the breast and underneath the armpits.
