Only Ruky has never entered probation list. She's always seated to save. Clement was once on probation-the week david left.

DailyNews: Do u know y Bianca married late Ikemba Ojukwu, a man old enough to be her father, in fact her father's friend and later enemyhuh Or have u ever wondered y she did?

Bianca was so pretty and hot that many men then were scared to marry her, and it became worst when she won miss Nigeria....so when Ojukwu asked her hand in marriage, she agreed and her father was like WTF!!! Guess what Bianca told her dadhuh

Dad, I have been single all these while with no serious young guy that u want me to marry coming, now I have one whom I cherish and u are saying this....the father had no other option.

Ask urself y most pretty and popular ladies are single or marry divorced old menhuh

Check all the Nollywood actresses, past beauty queens...including Ibinabo, Agbani, Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Domnic, etc, etc.....men are really funny people when it comes to choosing a wife.....its mostly divorced old men that usually go for those super pretty ladies becos they have had so much xprence from their past marriage(s)cheesy
And the wives of footballers? Comedians? Artistes(timi dakolo, psquare n jude)? Omoni iboli, omotola, dakore, stephanie? you can NOT speak for all men, speak for yourself. Every one has preference, and these men seem to be happy and proud of their beautiful wives.

If beautiful women intimidate you, by all means go for the ugly one, but stop trying so hard to run down beautiful ladies.

iwakolewa: so then we can say that their beauty causes insecurity for the opposite sex, which puts them off from approaching them or asking them out undecided
I believe it does, and also causes insecurity for the not-so-cute girls too. I don't know why people hate on beautiful girls and assume every pretty girl has a bad character or is intellectually challenged. Imagine the generalisation that beautiful girls are single? The ones they see getting married every saturday are all ugly ladies? Haba, make una dey lie small small people, we also witness weddings and see pictures every saturdays.

And why is everyone acting like they wouldn't mind marrying an ugly person and assume every ugly person is intelligent and of good character? Who says you can't have it all? Insecure people say that..lol

I watched reloaded before I watched mr and mrs, but I didn't even know it was the same nse in the former till I took time to rewatch it. I fell in love with her in mr and mrs, because she acted the movie so well and blended perfectly with joseph. After that, i decided to watch some of the movies she featured in, even the not-so-fabulous ones ; kiss and tell, phoneswap, broken, purple roses(this movie in particular is annoying but managed to watch because of nse) then this other shirley movie(the ghanaian producer of the contract), can't remember the title for now. *Its devil in detail*

She's one of my favourite actresses. She's too good.

I enjoyed ruky's performance mehn...the chic has got some crazy swag. She delivered! I see her as the last girl standing.

Debbie is becoming another flourish with her inconsistent performances. She deserves to leave next jare.

Daniella has a great voice but I think the judges and academy try to pamper her, maybe cos she looks sweet , I don't know o, but they don't judge her harshly at all.

Nse Ikpe Etim

Ramsey Noah

Gabriel Afolayan
I am not so convinced about gabriel afolayan, but the other 3 interpret roles flawlessly. They are raw talents mehn.

I liked flourish's voice the very first time I heard her sing and was on the look out for her, rooting for her and still supporting her on her days of poor performance but mehn, I can't deal with the controversial, attitude-stinking status. Who says 'if you like fall and die to a fellow contestant no matter the level of anger'..

Haba..na only she dey the academy ni. She has to be in the bottom 4\5 next week, that's the only certain way she'll leave cos I'm 100% sure no one will save her, not judges, not the academy.

Even if it is for the votes to be manipulated to make sure she is evicted. Such a negative vibe of hers is not healthy for the academy. angry angry

punintended: its crazy, I was noddin furiously in agreement to ALL the points you made
Like I thought earlier, daniella proved me right about performance. She left her comfort zone and didn't do well, just like flourish. They both have great voices, but are not versatile. You can't be a musician and not be versatile.

She and flourish had the same style of song where they had to sing 2 parts and they didn't do well, their performance was kinda clumsy, struggling with sensual moves..haha, it didn't come naturally to them at all ,like rukkie and debbie. I still commend them, cos they tried and like tymix said to rukkie, if anyone thinks its easy, he or she should go and perform it, lol

None of the girls did it for me sha.

Emeka, christian, clement , geoffery...thumbs up!

Daniella is such a sweetheart. She smiles like a sweet 16. She's growing on me. I would like to see her perform too though. I have a feeling she's excellent with soulful songs just like flourish but might be a not -so-good performer.

Christian is crying..eeyahh..he keeps getting a loud ovation but keeps being on probation, and I echo joseph's thought, "what do his fans do with their mobile phones"?

I have watched series of flourish's episodes and I hope she gets a breather now. E don do biko. I see she is ready to take the criticisms too and I hope she works on herself, not just for the academy but for the outside world. The others ; the saints should take a cue from it too. Everyone needs a dose of it all. Building relationships alone will not give them the crown neither will voice or performance alone. Some do not even watch the academy and all the drama to vote, all they do is watch stage performance n drop votes.

So far, na only kofo's exit pain me pass.

Blockus: Lol..

You obviously do not appreciate the concept of marriage.

Wether she married you after you already had a fortune 500 job or whilst you were still chopping kwili-kwili.. A woman who has stood by you for you ENTIRE life (minus those when she didnt know you), raised your kids, kept your home, gave her best years to you has earned the right to be appreciated and not treated like nobody.

Its not only when the woman meets you when you had nothing that means she 'hussled' with you.. Everyday a Man goes to work, comes home and can eat and sleep peacefully, thats one day of hussle between him and his wife..

#Sometimes I wonder if many of these Nairalanders have Mothers at all?

So when your father passes, you deserve to get his estate ahead of your mother?! SERIOUSLY?!
You see why we have many bad marriages? What is a foundation that is based on zero trust. I find it disgusting reading sheets like "she'll squander the money, what if she kills the husband, what if she marries another person". Are we talking of wives here or roomates or baby mamas? Even women that are not left with anything give up their lives, struggling and hustling for their kids to become successful not to talk of someone who has the means available.

Which mother will squander the money that is supposed to be used to raise her own kids? I swear these guys talk like they have no mothers for real.

Some even talk as if the so called wives do not have means of survival without them. Everyone assumes the wives have zero savings and investments. In this age, how many women are even solely dependent on men? Why do we have single mothers, widows, divorcees who do well and manage their children without the any aid from men?

Too many paranoid men everywhere. Who can blame them, when their own hands are not clean either.

DeeMain: Is snazzylove a man?

Read her posts again. This time without prejudice. She covered all grounds. in fact, the point about pregnant women and sex or female attractiveness was an addendum on succeeding at home.

She came hard on the man and leaned heavily on the woman's side. Guess the spectacle of feminism wouldn't allow her attackers see that. I say she is balanced and didn't deserve the vituperations she got in this thread.

Here's her post:
When we women don't have our backs, you men would be the first to scream "women are their own worst enemies". What women are trying to make snazzy understand is she can judge marriages\pregnancies by her own standards which she seem to be emphasizing in her posts.

If this thread were to be a general light -hearted thread- the kinda threads jenny opens to talk about the marriage, sexx, libido, pregnancy, I mean threads not directed to anyone in particular, but just for married folks to share experience and advice, then her post would have been appropriate, but in here, that point of hers doesn't sound sensitive enough. In a way, it could make the Op think maybe she's not doing enough and that is why he hubby is cheating which is not meant to be so. What if she has been advised to keep away from sexx (irrespective of the position) for some time (eg those with placenta previa), is she supposed to force herself to do it and harm herself and her baby, JUST because she thinks she has a sexually Hungry man by her side who would go get it somewhere else if she doesn't?

No matter the libido, I believe a man's first priority is the health and saftey of the wife and baby, not how his intimate desires will be fulfilled.

For a lady who is placed on bed rest for 6months to her delivery, is it justified for the hubby to sleep around since he can't have it? Is marriage ALL about sex??

Assuming a man came here to tell us he just underwent prostrate cancer surgery or hernia or whatever and is trying to heal properly before sexx or even work, and then finds our his wife is about to go and have sexx with another man. Is it sensitive enough for someone to ask if he has been taking care of himself enough to look sexxy for his wife? if he has been managing to have sexx with her irrespective of the condition, or if he still provides financially for the home? And say all of these could have pushed the woman to another man's bed just within monthshuh.

Let's even assume the man is hale and hearty and he reads about his wife going to have sex with another guy while he would be home, will you as a guy ask if he has been keeping sexxy enough for his wife, if he shapes his beards weekly, if he goes 10 rounds and makes her climax 50times? if all his boxers are sparkling clean, if he still manages to give her a head the days he's too tired to have sexx?

The earlier we all stop making excuses for cheats, the better. There's a reason it is called marriage-it is for better and for worse, in health and sickness.

This kinda mentality makes victims of cheat think it is always their fault no matter how fit and 'foxy' in bed they are. They will always think they'll never be good enough.

Cut out the feminism crap, this talk is not good for any victim of cheating irrespective of the gender.

jasmine21: I don't like what they're doing to Debbie. I think she had a very good performance. Towards d end of the song I think she remembered something that made her cry. But Adebantu was too harsh.

Anyway nice performances today except

Taiwo- he spoilt that song for me I didn't enjoy his performance at all #DictionIssues
Shola- he tried sha but to me there was still something missing #DictionIssues
Honestly, I think she did her best too. Ade bantu just capitalized on her emotions at the end of the song and misinterpreted it to mean she wasn't sure of herself. The cry made her look vulnerable to them, but I think it was the song that made her cry, the tears were already building up towards the end of the song but let it out after singing.

Clement, geoffery, flourish, emeka and daniella were my top 5.

Flourish got me pissed for weeks mehn. She wowed me the day she sang in a long flowing gown during the 'fight' to be among those who would make it to the academy and I became a fan immediately. And as if she was under a spell, she started misbehaving. She has to be an all rounder to remain in the competition. She has to pull her weight for all performances and not just soulful songs. I'm still a fan sha. cool

Emeka reminds me of timi dakolo a lot. I love the texture of his voice. I like calm and cool headed performers. I'm a fan

Clement has a charming and endearing smile. I love his eyes too. His injury isn't painless and despite his condition, he's been upping his game. He doesn't come on stage to give us pity faces but delivers. I'm saying this cos I remember how he used to sing before the injury. His last performance where he rapped on his feet too wowed me. I wouldn't call all his votes sympathy ones yet. I'm a huge fan!

Geoffery has never fallen my hands. He's always on point. Although I felt he was a bit too forward on entering the academy, but I have grown to really like him. I'm a huge fan too!

Daniella has such a great voice and she performs well too, puts all her mind her soul. I just like her voice, but unfortunately, I'm not a fan.

I don't know what is it with debbie. She is such a charming lady who tries her best, but I guess its just never enough, there's always something not right. I love her so much, but I see her going home next. She'll definitely be in the bottom 5 and I don't see anyone saving her.

Ugo, ruky, shola, christian, *scratches head*..ruky makes me laugh sha. And ugo's nose? Eeeewooo....

Madam, don't forward the chat to his phone. That will give room for wuruwuru and you will not get to the root of the matter. You need a face-to-face communication to watch his body language, maintain eye contacts and express yourselves clearly without misconception from both sides. Tell your hubby he needs to come home after work before the trip, let him know its urgent and can't wait.

Ps -i have a deep feeling that you are scared of your hubby. And except you are exaggerating the content of the chats, I see no reason why you should not approach, confront and seek explanation from him.
Family › Re: Caught In D Act......how Do I Play It Out? by MizzD: 8:57am On Aug 23, 2014
chaircover: Personally I dont subscribe to sleeping with fire on the roof and it seems like many of us women are desensitised to thos cheating thing.

He is travelling, you found a SMS clearly showing that he is going to see another woman, and you happily pack his bag and he is on his way. What if he gets there and doesnt use protection and this is the one liason that will bring back HIV and other STD's back home to you?

He is your husband for Gods sake and you have a right to talk to him and take action. He is the one who did wrong but you are the one walking on egg shells
.

I dont blame you, cos many of us no longer know right from wrong anymore. Many women go into marriage thinking its the norm for mem to cheat (we say so long as he comes home and he carrys out his financial responsibilities) and many men go into marriage with a thousand and one reasons why they have the right to cheat. The children are watching and think its oK and the cycle continues in their own marriages too.

As for "snooping" . . if you give me a reason to doubt your sincerity or your ways become crooked, then yes Snoop, so you know what you are up against. Dont be a victim of Last minute.com and be treating infertility from STD's or even put your life at risk from STD's just because you dont want to offend someone who doesnt mind offending you.

I know that you are pregnant and so I am not saying battle it out with him or stress yourself, but I dont really know why you cant discuss it with him BEFORE he goes off and dont really see the point of waiting to discuss it AFTER the deed has been done. If you cant discuss this, then what exactly are important discussions?
Thank you ooo..

Op, read the bolded again and again.
Family › Re: Caught In D Act......how Do I Play It Out? by MizzD: 8:43am On Aug 23, 2014
The hypocrisy on this thread is alarming. Who are the people asking her to win the heart of a 'cheating' insensitive hubby back? Asking her to pack condoms and all sorts of nonsense. Who leaves his pregnant wife home to go and have fun (whether or not sexx is involved) with another lady when he should be home pampering his wife and mother of his unborn baby?

Op already said she's pregnant and trying not to work herself up and I understand where she's coming from. It is a sensible thing to do. Your health and that of your baby is your priority. I personally believe you should have addressed the issue before he travelled. What if this weekend sex leads to pregnancy with the other lady, what if it is this same sexx that will bring sexual diseases to your house? What if it is this same sexx that will keep him hooked and longing for more?

You are not a kid and I believe you know what you saw. if you insist the content of the message was explicit, then you should have confronted your husband before the trip.

I don't like doing this, but the tone of comments would have been different if a guy read such chats about his wife.

If its not too much to ask for, tell your husband you want to see him urgently before he makes that trip and tell him exactly what you read and how hurtful it is. Ask him if he would tolerate such if situations were reversed. Don't let him blackmail you by asking you why you were snooping, that doesn't matter anymore. What he should address is the content of the message. Be firm, straightforward with your approach. No unnecessary emotions like begging or crying. If he is a good husband who genuinely loves and respects his wife but just got distracted, he will apologise and retrace his steps, if he doesn't, then you know exactly who you married and see if you can cope or how you can handle one-a cheating husband.

If he makes that trip without you addressing this issue madam, you are on your own.
