MizzD: Hello everyone. I av been a silent follower of this thread. I am 20wks preg nd av had dis pains in my navel area and also 2wards d left side of my tommy. Its usually gets bad @nyt dat I hardly sleep. av bin havin dis pain since abt 6wks ago not frequent but av had it up to 3 or 4x now. Pls is dis normal?

Sorry Mama-to-be. I think the pain is inevitable since our one time small and unnoticable uterus is now growing to visibly accomodate a growing baby. I will still suggest you go to the hospital, and maybe have a scan if you haven't.

Are you taking enough calcium? what dose do you take? increase your intake of bananas, yoghurt( or milk) and make sure you take your calcium religiously, before bed at night.leg cramps in pregnancy are usually prevented by correct amounts of calcium and/or pottasium.Also try to ensure that you keep well hydrated. try to do at least 10 glasses of water a day.

@queen labisi. I had the cramps during my first trimester. Husband taught me to always get up and stand straight immediately i wake with it and it worked. Maybe u should also try getting up and standing straight. Pele.

I´m 34wks gone and the scan shows my baby is breech. the doc suggested another cs if the baby doesn´t turn by week 39, he said trying to turn the baby via ecv is risky because of my previous cs 2years ago. has anyone been in this situation before or does anyone know what I could do to help my baby flip. I really want to avoid another cs because I have nobody to help with my very energetic 2year old while i heal,hubby goes to work. I´m really anxious.

orbit gum was my best friend during that period. And then I found out that I could tolerate cold water more during that time, so I started eating ice block.

Iyabetajos, i support honey86, cold water stays in me too, room temperature or hot water irhtates me. I did my scan without drinking any water. Beg d doc if water doesnt stay to do it like that. Dont wory, its well.

iyabetajos. I also had my first scan without taking water. I wonder why u are forced to take the water you are vomitting. Pele. Cold water or cold fruit juice(not carbonated drinks) kept me hydrated during my very terrible period

Sorry ma, you can pray about it as there's nothing God can not do we will also put you in our prayers, the baby will turn to the right position and come out strong and healthy in Jesus name.

I cant wait for my first ante natal in 2 weeks time....ll be 11+ den.
Before i got pregnant, i prayed dat i wont throw up and all dat, now i kinda wish to experience just a lil. Aside d missed periods, increased discharge, heightened sense of smell and d fact dat i struggle to stay awake after 9 pm, woulda doubted dat im pregnant. The frequent urination has reduced a lil. Cant wait for my first scan to feel really pregnant.. Will i get a picture?

Dont be too relaxed yet, some pple resume nausea during 2nd trimester, and it could be one of the lucky ones who had a stressfree pregnancy. Be mindful of what you ask for o, u dont want to expereince morning sickness

yeah its pretty normal, and the good news is you'll get gassier and growlier as the pregnancy progresses...so buckle up, you'll enjoy the ride,. Ehen, this your handle, hope you know say no more smokey_drinkey again for the babies sake oooo!

tanks dear, I actually take enuf water but dnt use my calcium supplement religiously, will imProve on dat nd start takin bananas with enuf milk, tanks a bunch
