So, my husband has beaten me 3 times prior to yesternight. I had said if it happens again, I'm going to leave. Last night, he punched me in my face severally and pushed me hard that I sprained my knee. My concern are my kids. My older child loves his father so much, while the younger one loves me so much. The kids love each other. Do I take my younger child and leave this marriage and separate my kids, or do I leave them with their dad or do I take both of them and trust my older child will be fine without his father?
He has apologized severally this morning but I'm done. He is emotionally abusive on a good day. I can't count the no of times in a day he insults me. He threatens to Kill me and kill himself. My dad doesn't talk to him any more. Let me tell you why.
He didn't have a car at the time, and would go with mine. He was meant to pick the kids up, while I was also waiting for him to pick me up from work. At about 7:30 pm, I called him again asking for when he would get to the kids school and he told me he was busy(Busy here means busy drinking). The school kept calling me, the teachers need to go home. 8 pm, I picked an uber and went to pick them. My phone died and I couldn't charge it till I got home. As I turned my phone on, his call came in and I apologized, that I had picked them up but my phone went off. He said he was in the school and was looking for the kids. I kept on apologizing. He promised to deal with me on getting home. He then called my mum and was shouting at her on phone(he does this regularly). My dad stepped in. He tried to understand the issue. He told my dad, that I disrespected him and that if it was his subordinate in the office( He's in the para military) that disrespected him, they would kill the person and nobody would find the dead body. My dad then said, but she's your wife and not your subordinate. He shouted at my dad and dropped the call.
I go through a lot of emotional stress on a daily basis. I need to leave for my sanity. He's a great father.What do I do about my kids? Matured responses please.
Go learn martial arts. No need for divorce if violence is the issue.
tensazangetsu20: Well I am almost your age. I had business I was doing since I graduated but no money. Do expenses and everything no money. I was always broke and depending on parents. The skills I gained from the business like mechanic skills and digital marketing were not highly regarded in the labour market. Mechanic salaries in Nigeria fit make you born again. Omho I just forget everything and learnt to code. I started in February and things are much better for me now. Not where I want to be sha but I have hope.
How much do mechanics earn on average? I want to learn.

Within the past few years, i have observed that lots of marriages goes through the challenge of child bearing. This often time is pin and blame on the woman. They are either called barren or accused of living a wayward life before getting married. unknow to many that the result could be from the man having a LOW COUNT. These women wont come out publicly to say the issue is with the man, but rather endured and bear every insult thrown at them. They protect their man's pride and suffer in silences.
Of recent, a friend confided in me about the child bearing issue in his marriage as his fault. He has a low count. Believe me, i have said demeaning words about the wife. I thank God my friend is true enough that the wife never got any of those words. He has been married for seven (7) years. I know he is not only, and there are many out there with similar issue. if you have a practical solution to this issue, you would be saving much more marriages than you think, and putting a smile on someone face.

There is this trending video of a woman with her baby sleeping by the roadside because of lack of shelter. The phone was shared on a popular blog, Instablog9ja. In the photo one can see that the mother and child were playing after laying on mat that is very close to the main road. She even kept her luagage somewhere around the area.

I'm twenty-four years old, the first child of my parents. my dad owns a big church and other branches in big cities and towns.
I can't completely remember when it all started, but I remember my dad always fingering me as early as five years old. as soon as I clocked ten, the long wait was over for my dad; he came to my room at night and molested me! I still remember the pains and the weight of his body on top of me. I was sent to boarding by my mum, so as to reduce the frequent sex, which my dad almost killed her for. I was saved the all night wife's duty, but every mid-term break we had, I was all my dad ever wanted; from the living room to bedroom to bathroom, cars, name it all. the molest session doubled from once every day to two-three times a day. my mum did nothing, I also lost the hope and energy to resist, all I do is lay on the bed for him to do what he wants, while I go clean up after everything.
I gained admission into the university, though in the same location. I tried going into a relationship just to have a normal life, but my dad will fight, chase, and curse any man he sees around me. as soon as he chases them, the next thing is for him to come and rape me without minding who is around or not.
