The baby boomers would all be retiring by 2035.. The work force is made of mostly aging folks, hence the need to import "young blood." Also, they are doing what USA is doing with Asia, Cheeap labor.

in 15-25 years time, 80 percent of their work force would be retiring. You're welcome.

Do you not ask why the younger people there seem to be uninterested in having children or if there are impediments to having and raising children in that environment?

They are sat on a demographic bomb of their own making and now expect the global south to bail them out.

Those people are either confused or have no right to live and work in UK.

They're confused because they as trained professionals are leaving for higher wages and more favorable economic conditions?

Businesses are leaving the UK, why would labor also not leave?

The way some of you people defend the UK baffles me to no end. It's almost as if colonialism lives on in your heads.

was this the reason they connived with the nigerian political class to decimate the Nigerian economy and create massive insecurity through banditry and insurgency so that the best and brightest can flee the country ?

hmmmm by the time everyone leaves - Britain will have all the access to steal our resources with no one back home in Nigeria to stop them while we live as their slaves doing menial jobs in the UK and those who claim to have good jobs will be paying high taxes through their nose to sustain the British economy and have little or nothing to keep for themselves after paying the never ending bills -

we are going their just to eat bread and work like jackie until we get old and expire in the Britain - with no returning to the motherland ….. because there will be nothing to return to

this is sophisticated slave trade all over again - and we are so blind as a society to see it because the availability of bread is used as a bait to have us voluntarily get on the slave ship to perpetual slavery

cry Nigeria - mourn Africa, they finally finished us

Slavery and colonialism never ended they were simply rebranded.

You exclude paris but Judge England base on London

Where did I even mention London?

You can take London out of the equation and base it on Oxford, Cambridge, Brighton or the home counties and the cost of living is still silly. Especially when compared to their equivalents in France or Spain or anywhere on continental Europe outside of Switzerland.

What exactly is happening to UK citizens? Why are they refusing to work?

It's actually dangerous to a nation to have to keep importing professionals. What is the future of the young UK citizens?

They have serious demographic issues. They don't have enough young people or enough willing to do many of the so-called essential jobs, especially at the pay rate offered. Which should act as a warning to others but of course Nigerians know better undecided.

You have no idea how many citizens of france and UK are trooping to UK.

Sit down there and believe what you read on social media cos if you are living in UK, you will definitely not write the quoted.

Please show me the numbers. I find that very hard to believe.

If anything it's the opposite, there's a French Exodus from London.
https://clickmoves.com/french-exodus-from-london/

Many of the people that I know in the UK have left or are looking to leave because they now realize that the cost of living is unfavorable and that they can earn significantly more in north America or at least endure lower living costs on continental Europe. The UK is in very bad fiscal shape and has been for a while.

Why would any sane person move to post Brexit UK? They are the worst performing advanced economy in the world and are due to enter a prolonged recession.

They are on the verge of rolling back the banking protections that were designed to stop another great recession out of economic desperation.

America and Canada yes ...
The Scandinavians, Germany and Switzerland are the only better place than UK ..
Italy, Spain, France etc are glorify Africa or southamericans

France and Spain are better than the UK. The cost of living is better if you exclude Paris and the weather and food are superior. Also public transit is better.

Do none of you ever ask why the UK needs to import everything and people for every sector?

They don't have their own people that they can train to do these essential jobs? And if they do why are their own people refusing to take up these positions?

Just look at the ridiculous retirement package governors, Deputy governors, the president, vice president etc signed for themselves after leaving office. This does not include what they misappropriated while in office, yet Mr. OBASANJO has the gall to say oil can not feed Nigeria.

Nigeria doesn't produce anywhere near enough oil for that to be true.

Whatever matter it is, he deserves to go to jail.
Come to think of it, if someone can mock the death of person killed on the altar of unconfirmed and untried blasphemy( a sin believed to have been committed against a "servant" of God) who is unknown by our generation, who didn't even know someone was abusing him in any manner and who ordinarily should be in position to forgive anybody that sins against him regardless of the nature of the sin, what do you expect to be done to that stupid mocker for abusing the wife of the sitting president who ordinarily is a fallible human being and known by our generation?

I guess that's carma knocking at the stupid boy's door.
