shupy: My response was to @Ruthbella. The delay you're facing at the moment is probably because you didn't do the upfront medicals. It's no longer an NSE issue if you've gotten medical request. Gbam. |

Jeff5gold: Not providing NSE requirements is not the issue I applied December 20 got NSE request December 30 but I ignored Got medical request March 26 It kind of the issue If you didn’t submit NSE turn get ready to wait although hopeful your get a positive response soon |

Ruthbella: I did upfront medical in November, submitted my application in December 9 2020 since then no update. Please be specific If you followed NSE route or not because I doubt you did because you could have gotten a response by now |

Spectro: I believe February applicants will be getting PPRs very soon (possibly next week).
Dey go soon finish January own.
I also think they are trying to wrap up earlier applications like those of December, November and October.
March, hopefully last week in May and first week in June (by God's grace)
It will end in praise. You just read my mind I hope it ends In praiseeee |

marcelonwa: Refusal will be much this month Is he a first time applicant? She’s a first time applicant.. But she isn’t bothered hence she has study Visa for US but she wanted to try Canada based on the flexible tution for the bolded -That’s the sad truth but we all have to keep being positive..ircc don’t see Nigerian applicants as study permit holders They see us now as immigrants. It will end it praise. |

dyce101: They noticed you have a lot of money in your account and you might decide not to leave Canada
Family ties, you should have bring ur mom or ur dad in as sponsor
The course you applied for I don’t think it relate with your job
Just saying For the bolded please Him being denied based on personal assets and financial status is very broad and only his GCMS would explain You can see someone is “50m” balance being denied based on personal assets and financial status even after paying full fees but when the applicants gets their gcms you would see “ the proposed study isn’t going to be a reasonable expense” there’s more than just having money in your bank account -is the program he wants to purse worth the expenses?? - we’re there any unexplained lump sum? - did he explain the source of income properly and backed it up with authentic documents? Let’s not dish out wrong information. 2- Being that he is financially independent and capable of the expenses then why shouldn’t he sponsor himself It’s even stronger when he’s self sponsored because he’s a matured adult There’s more to his generic refusal letter which only the gcms would reveal. |

And most applications with “recommend interview” receives ppr (correct me if I’m wrong abeg) I hope your application scales through and ends in praises bro All the best. |

Lamideyy: Guy you would be 18 soon all this chaperone something... I do not think it is necessary (my opinion though). I have seen 17-year olds travel abroad and nothing happened. I would advice you focus on your application for now and maybe your mum can visit later. you can focus on getting your visa for now. If need be, you could demonstrate in your SOP a degree of independence, that you are old enough to school in Canada without supervision and that you know what you are doing except your mum wants to japa sha. True that |

Evergeen22: Hello everyone. So I had to meet my agent to come and explain what I’m seeing here and it turned out that the agent said he gave someone money who gave another person in Canada the money to pay for my application. Now the person In Canada called the bank after the payment to cancel all transactions on his card. And the money was collected back from IRCC, in the procedural letter they sent me they asked why I charged back the money and I told them it bounced back. And I told The agent to make the payment again.
I’m confused at people’s negligence and unseriousness.
Please what can I do at this point ? Help!!! Omo e get as e be oo Please our Gurus we need y’all |

NwanyiOkpa: It has finally ended in praise for me. God bless Frankrobbn, Justmellow, and the many others that have been giving me hope and answering all my plenty of questions. Note that I used an agent or my application because i was too busy with work to continually study the tips on this thread and apply them. I am a second-time applicant.
Timeline: January 20th: Medical done January 27th: Application submitted with all NSE requirements- Sponsor's 1-year Mybankstatement of about 11million, IELTS result with 7.5 band, and Medical result. February 20th February 26th: Second ghost update March 4th: Third ghost update March 9th: Fourth ghost update May 4th: PPR and correspondence letter
Reason for the first refusal: They said that my finance wasn't sufficient even after i submitted an account statement of 12million and paid my first-semester tuition.
How i tackled the refusal: I paid the full tuition for the first year, provided the sponsor's account statement of 11million and i also made a notarised affidavit of sponsorship signed by my sponsor. I did not use a notarised affidavit of sponsorship in my first application but i used an affidavit from the high court. A friend advised me to use a notary lawyer for my affidavit and so far, everyone that i know that used a notary lawyer was approved. Notarised documents are recognized worldwide.
Documents submitted: All IMM forms Tuition payment receipt CAD$21,000 notarised affidavit of sponsorship notarised affidavit of good behavior police report IELTS result medical slip letter of explanation passport photograph data page of passport sponsor's birth certificate (sponsor is my brother) CAC document for my business Employment letter Recommendation letter
NOTE: I used an agent for my application. There are a few agents that knows what they are doing. My agent did not hold back my login details like other complained about.
I got admitted into about 7 schools in the USA also but I decided to go to Canada for reasons best known to me.
God wey do am for me go do am for una.
I am so excited. As i dey type sef, my fingers dey shake. Immediately i logged in and saw that my application has been updated i was like; "these people with their ghost updates again" before i clicked on the application and saw my correspondence letter and PPR. I immediately ran and woke my dad from sleep to break the good news to him. He has always been supportive. Been waiting on your testimony!!!! Thank you Jesus |
