I understand the anxiety and also considering the huge expense of paying for the 3 days stopover.

Canada for the first time as of April 9, 2021, exceeded the United States on confirmed COVID cases in comparing the number of COVID cases per million people to that of the United States. Ontario itself is currently observing a lockdown so it is uncertain if the relaxation on the 3 days mandatory stopover will take effect soon. I sincerely hope it does. But based on the current situation, if you intend to travel but trying to wait for the cancellation of the 3 days hotel stop over policy, please go ahead with your travel plans because you never can tell what policy comes up tomorrow if the number of confirmed cases does not come down. This is my own candid opinion.

May we all reap the fruits of our labour and we won't do all these in vain.

It's obvious they are attending to January/early February (starting on biometrics dates) applicants, most early/mid February applicants eligibility had started.


All February people should get responds soon.

March, our eligibility fit start late April or early May. Make we go find something productive doing abeg.

Regardless of how bad things are in our country, and how diplomatically useless our government is, this wide gap between the processing time of Ghanian and Nigerian applications is totally unfair to Nigerians. I feel we need to start calling out IRCC on Twitter for this unfair treatment.

I know some people will think that Nigerian applications take so long because of the so-called timewasting hurdles in verifying documents originating from Nigeria, however the very fact that IRCC started its NSE pathway and made the claim that they could process the applications in merely 20 days tells us otherwise.

The existence of NSE totally shows that much of this delay is intentionally engineered against us.

It’s honestly not fair
We were on our own and they brought the NSE which they said it takes 20days , let’s just pity them and call it 1month
Now just image people who submitted with NSE documents with the hope of faster results and they’re waiting for over 4months
And it’s even more crazy that when they request for this NSE, applicants go out of their way to make sure they meet up with the NSE requirements and guess what
Some of them still get denied for funny reasons.
I know this visa isn’t our right but It’s sha not fair ...Omo e go better.

Hello Guys, Please I need your help concerning my application. I submitted my study permit application. I did my biometrics few days ago and two days I got a refusal letter from IRCC. I submitted all the vital documents. Proof of funds.. family ties.. I showed my mom's landed property.. The company I worked and the business I own In Cameroon. I currently live in north Cyprus and there's no Canadian embassy so it's either Turkey or your home country. Please Is there anything I can do.. You can check the attachment for the letter.

It’s obvious April applicants are getting updates and Early March applicants like me are getting no update, cos I just see one or two people that applied in April now saying they’ve got NSE request, My application (re-application) has been going through background check since the very day I submitted in March and yet, no update, (no upfront medical, nor mbs or ielts, just Normal reapplication, already had biometrics in my previous application).

Is there anyone who can justify this and give Early March hopes if possible,
Is there anyone in the same or similar shoe??

Submitted the same day: I included IELTS, MBS and have done upfront medical and still nothing. So no. Processing times are taking longer. It will end in praise.

Which IELTS Academic or General better for College Post Graduate Program?

They demand ielts and MBS for the (NSE) which they “claimed” that it was going to be a “faster route “ but all I can say is OMO

And “some”people that didn’t want to submit have been stuck since then

In my unpopular opinion,The best thing is to just submit your MBS and an ielts result with at least 6.0 in each band and give yourself peace of mind
And yes both Academic and General are accepted for the study visa application

Additionally, is it safe to add some documents i omitted in my application such as property documents and maybe offer a letter of explanation?

Am just tired of IRCC applied since 15 OCT 2020, till now no final decision, they keep piling peoples applications every day, this is totally bad to humans health because your mind will always be there, thinking about it everyday, delaying you from other plans, sorry for everyone in the same shoe with me it will be fine

In my first application, I was nominated but I ask the to process my documents the normal way. The next day my application was rejected.

I decided to reapply after going through this group. This morning I have been nominated again.

Please I need help on how to tackle this challenge.
The asked for mybank statement by first bank don't give it and my sponsor uses first bank

Also I have a sponsor (Uncle) and another sponsor(relative). Both were included in my sop with financial documents attached.

Pleas how do i solve this problem. Any advice will be deeply appreciated.

I also want to kno what the letter actually mean. I don't really understand it.

1) Did you upload their normal paper bank statement or My Bank statement when applying ?
2) Did you take ielts in this your second application because it wasn’t requested.

Well doing upfront medicals would expedite the study visa process
While some people would prefer to wait for medicals but it’s nearly impossible to get a closer date when one gets a medical request.
