A friend of mine that applied early last year and has been ordering gcms which has been saying “recommend interview” just got refused today. This one pain me no lie She’s Ghanaian with a GPA 3.89/ 4.00 Has completed her BA political science And Got admission for fall 2021 MA political science with funding of 30k CAD
She was refused based on -limited employment prospects -personal assets and financial status
After her uncle presented a statement with 50k CAD as balance
Now the issue is that She wanted to order a new gcms but If fall 2021 should pass then her funding would be automatically revoked and you can see that new update that says submission after May 15 might not be processed quickly as to beat the Fall 2021 admission What do y’all think she should do - Should she reapply without the gcms note? |

UpcomingCanadia: [img][/img] I'm a ghost reader here and I've been following this thread for a while now... please I plan to reapply what should I do now to address the VO's issue. I applied through an agent and he said the reasons are baseless that I should reapply...it's for a bachelor's degree at Cape Breton island I'm 18 years old. Thanks Soo sorry for the delay I think you should order your gcms note to know the exact reason... don’t just reapply immediately From your letter it says that the visa officer wasn’t satisfied based on your “personal assests and financial status” It all boils down to this - who’s your sponsor -how much did he/she show as your proof of funds - If he/she pays your tution fee and other expenses how much would be left in their account. |

Anon123: Please moniker, i would like to ask, DO YOU HAVE A DEGREE IN NIGERIA?
Either yes or No, i would advice against going for this pre-nursing bsc..
Reason is because Canada hardly issue visas for persons going for a pre-nursing bsc. Their reason is based on the fact Nursing is a technology they dont share with outsiders unless you are a citizen or PR. Not trying to demoralize you but i felt i did share this. Other gurus might have a different view
My 2kobo My friend got a visa recently to study pre-nursing Honestly nothing is impossible, it’s just about putting a solid application |

shupy: Alright maybe the tone might have been harsh. But you do get the point I was making. I didn't know you were a minor. In no circumstance should you include both parent. Bitter truth is odds are already against an applicant with the inclusion anyone else in their application. They look for the slightest reason to reject an applicant. Now this is how to pass a message |

shupy: you clearly have no idea how brutal application officers can be. That's probably why the thought of including your mum and dad in your application is crossing your mind. You'll soon know who you're dealing with. She asked a simple question and if you can’t give her a response please just scroll away. She’s a minor. |

Since the inception of that NSE has anyone gotten their visa approved even without submitting the requirement at the initial stage or getting the request ? Please I need answers. Thank you When did you apply ? |

I will rather advise you submit mybankstatements and odd your IELTS so that they request for it. We that submitted altogether haven't really gotten updates while those that submitted after us by request had eligibility updates.
Just opinion please. My personal opinion. I wish I did this honestly So when they request for it I’d give it to them immediately |

That is the way, no need withdrawing your application.
All the best. The moniker that made a mistake while filling the form take note All the best |

Uzomachukwu: Who is insulting and disparaging who? That ain't my MO, man. Meanwhile, why use the inclusive "we" subject in your opening sentence here? Who are the "we" that are much aware of this incident you just mentioned? I am certain that am not included in your "we," as I do not know of the case you're citing, and will be glad if you could locate that applicant's post here on Nairaland and quote it for all of us to read again.
Moreover, even as you're mentioning it here for the first time now, you do not really know what went down in that application, nor do you know what the said immigration lawyer included or left out in their explanation to IRCC (unless you were the lawyer in question), just as you did not say at what point in time they had contacted IRCC (as soon as the mistake was discovered, less than three weeks after the application was submitted, or just very close to the finalizing of the application, in which case the procedural fairness letter must already have been underway before their webform clocked even a week and ready to be acknowledged by IRCC).
At the same time, do not think you have full information about the nature and depth of the error or number of errors the applicant you cited committed in their application. But as to the error of the nature being talked about here yesterday, I can definitely say that a very convincing explanation letter and a new IMM 1294e form sent through a webform earlier in time will be enough to take care of the problem. Yet, the outcome will partly depend too on how many other obvious "lies" the applicant told in their application (once = perhaps a mistake; twice = surely intentional). You’ve said it all. |

afrischolars1: IMMEDIATELY send an email to IRCC notifying them that you want to withdraw the application and tell them the mistake was the reason for withdrawal. After that you can reapply. Canada share info with US. They'll surely discover your US refusal and you're 99.9% likely to be banned from entry into Canada for 5yrs. Take this serious. It may he the end of your Canadian dream. There ought to be another way. |
