The constitution isn't responsible for the mass shootings, the criminals are. The constitution guarantees a citizen has a chance to save his life when confronted with such evil people. The truth is criminals will always have access to guns. Look at our country Nigeria, bearing guns is illegal, yet almost every criminal group in the country are armed to the teeth, from political thugs, to cultists, to thieves, to kidnappers, even herdsmen have guns. Did the Nigerian constitution stop them? So you see, taking away gun ownership rights legally only takes away guns from good people but the bad people will still always have guns. That's why the NRA is so strong in America, because they understand this truth. Drugs are illegal here, yet some people are still trafficking cocaine everyday in this country, did the law stop the criminals from being criminals? So the right to bear arms in America is not responsible for the mass shootings. Over 70% of the time when there has been a mass shootings, the evil shooter get shot by other good people who were armed, otherwise the killings would have been much more. There's a common saying among 2nd Amendment supporters in America, they say A GUN AT HAND IS BETTER THAN A COP ON THE PHONE. In other words, you stand a better chance to survive when a criminal with a gun tries to attack you if you are also armed with a gun, than calling 911 waiting for police to come and save you. Many times than not, the police will come and meet the dead body of an unarmed victim. Many of the mass shootings happening in America today are sponsored by the enemies of America that want to re-write their constitutional to take away their 2nd Amendment rights. But they keep failing. Their founding fathers were just too smart and understood the intricacies of what it took to sustain a free nation. They made it a 2nd Amendment right, 2nd Amendment. The 1st Amendment gives Freedom, the 2nd Amendment guarantees it. God bless America. Home of the Brave, Land of the Free.

The American constitution is very clear about the rights to gun ownership. Do you think their founding fathers were stupid to have included it in their constitution? You have never lived under barbaric oppressive regimes or encountered wicked militias that raid cities and kill thousands. That's why you think the way you do. They experienced it, they know what oppression and mass murders is, they lived it firsthand, they suffered horrible massacres in the hands of the British before gaining independence. They know freedom doesn't depend on the army alone, freedom depends on the ability of the citizens to defend themselves against any external oppressor, even if the oppressor is their own government. So they created a constitution that allows for the greatest and powerful militia in their country to be the citizens militia themselves. Do you think people like Boko Haram can have a field day raiding American villages from place to place? Even before the FBI, or Navy Seals or Marines, or National Guards or special forces or local enforcement police show up, the villagers have enough arms to protect themselves and hold their grounds. Some might die but so also will their attackers. The people that wrote the American constitution were social geniuses, not like the jokers that wrote our own.

There’s a big difference here. Obama was against sale of military grade weapons to anyone with little or no background checks but trump believes everyone should have a gun. Trump has been fanning the fire of white supremacists and spreading hate.

Owning guns is the constitutional right of every American. It is a fundamental part of their constitution. In fact, it was included in the first draft. So this is not about Trump. The problem is political. Some politicians want to take away citizens right to own guns, but to do that they must change the constitution. And they cannot change the constitution if majority of the citizens don't agree. The only way they can agree is if they make the society so unsafe through mass gun violence. That's why those who can see beyond their nose know that many of these mass shootings are sponsored by anti-constitution politicians in DC who want to take away guns from citizens. Without citizens having guns, it will be easier for the New World Order to take over America with violence and terrorists that they have already planted in that country.

Why the government is fighting Boko Haram, Militant Herdsmen, Shite, Bandits and others of similar orientation in Northern Nigeria surprises me.
Nearly two decades ago, they implemented shariah with funfair. Now they are fighting for an Islamic Republic why cant this be granted? The government should ask all non-compliant people to leave Borno and Yobe. Let these states be given to this cause. Government should make efforts to resettle those who may leave. Redraw the map of Nigeria. An agitation that has lasted for nearly 20 years is worth consideration. Nigerian government has spent more than 4 billion dollars in counter-insurgency. To resettle citizens of Borno and Yobe say in neighbouring state will cost less.
Allow the shites, Boko Haram, Herdsmen, Bandits to have their own country. Borno and Yobe should be carved out for this purpose.

I have worked at both Lagos seaport and airport. Do you know the volume of cargo that comes in by air everyday? 90% of the fruits and poultry imports, come through air, most telecoms cargo come through air etc. For every ship that berths in Lagos, 20 cargo planes have already landed and left.
