Normally I commend the LRU for their excellent and timely rescue operations, but today's own their operation on this truck was rubbish. From morning till now, they just managed to stand the truck with its container. As I type now, the bridge descending to alaka is still blocked. Imagine if the container had fallen on a car or bus and there were people inside, by now they would all be dead due to the inefficiency of LRU. #liveReport

Yes, you're correct and I understand your point. But the shanties I saw demolished yesterday were mainly business shanties of iron bar sellers, welders, scrap metal stores, carpenters, wooden pallets and maybe some bet9a kind of kiosks . The government knows where the real criminals and agberos are hiding. Before the demolition point on the right side of the highway (if going to orile from Costain), there's a huge refuse dump site there by the foot of the bridge after you descend, it is so filthy. So i think it's not enough to just be demolishing things, clean up exercise should be done side by side.

Coincidentally, I witnessed it live yesterday afternoon along the highway before Orile bus stop. They were demolishing the shanty slums built on the kerb walkway with a yellow bulldozer crane. The LASG taskforce team that performed the operation were a combined unit of different state agencies, they were so plenty you would think it was a battle field . They were very professional and handled it well without any crisis breaking out. Sanwo Olu is already showing us he will be a wonderful Lagos State Governor. However, the only thing I just wonder is, why is it that when it comes to demolishing illegal structures, the LASG will always be forming Bruce Lee but when it comes to removing agberos and thugs, the LASG will be doing like Mr. Bean

These vigilantes are nothing but the first wave of infiltration that will serve as the foundation for mass killings just like Benue and Plateau. The Southwest is playing with fire. They better flush out all these criminals now before they turn the Southwest virgin forests to another Sambisa terrorists haven. Having such vigilantes is an unspoken declaration of war. Do we still have governors in the south at all?
