Android can't die. Google owns Android, Google has its own hardware now, latest being the Pixel. Android is the single most dominant software that has now transcended mobile phones to the entire electronic spectrum. Now you have modern cars running on Android, you have houses running on Android, you have TVs running on Android, you have robots running on Android, you have driverless cars running on Android, you have computers running on Android etc. They are unifying the whole human living experience in a revolutionary way. Very soon, Android will take over every single aspect of the electronic world. Why do you think most mobile manufacturers buy the Android license? So they can survive and grow with Android. I get you, but my point is this, without Google, for example Huawei looses access to the Google play store and automatically looses millions of apps. Without those apps, Huawei becomes another brick phone like BlackBerry. How many people still buy BlackBerry with BB OS. Huawei has its own OS already but how many apps are there?

Samsung rules outside the USA, Apple rules in the USA, Huawei is just another phone out there struggling for market share like them Tecno and Infinix etc. People trying out Huawei is because of Google. Google shot their popularity up when they made them as one of their Nexus brands. So it was Huawei phones like the Nexus 6P, that helped Huawei gain some traction with customers outside of their safe zone China. Without Google, Huawei can't make it on their own OS, outside of China. And in China they do so well because they are protected by their government and work for their government giving them backdoor access to spy and access information through their devices. This was why the US wanted to cut them off.

No. The only hope Huawei could have had was the genius programmers that worked with BlackBerry, but Google was super smart, they employed all of them immediately BlackBerry went under. How would it have killed Google? Within the context of the global mobile phone industry alone, If Android retired Blackberry, then who is Huawei to Google? Why buy now? When the hype is over and the dynamics of the Nigerian economic system sets in, share price will crash and adjust to reality. Then MTN owners and their federal government collaborators would be richer and many Nigerians would have lost billions of naira in value of their shares. For now, the Nigerian Stock Exchange is just another MMM. Watch and Pray lest ye fall into temptation bad investments . My husband is Nigerian and I’m not he recently came to my country we are married and now I’m pregnant. I know quite a bit about culture in Nigeria as I’ve known many people there before, but something is new to me.

I may have a hard time trusting because of misunderstanding of culture but I get a feeling it may not just be that. He talks to so many women on WhatsApp and Facebook every day and likes there pictures. He even sometimes sends long emotional emails to his ex about moving on and when she cries he sends her emails about it being ok.

I told him to stop talking to her because he’s with me and our unborn child and not to have it affect our family...

But the thing is he chats with so many women on Facebook and what’s app and I’m so worried. Even when he does he hides his phone and deleted chats because he says “when you see the woman calling me saying hi dear it just means they say that to everyone”.
I know everyone in Nigeria can start off there sentence with hi dear, it could mean nothing but why does he need to talk to so many women online everyday? He said it’s rude to ignore people and if one bad word is said about him it could spread to anyone so he tries not to ignore to be nice. I saw him chatting ardently with a young girl from his village and he was asking her a lot of questions... I just didn’t understand why he had to be doing that and his response was “what if I want to be a politician one day”. It just makes me never want him to go back to Nigeria because I’m so aftraid one of these ladies he’s gonna meet up with and they will do something one day

I’m really afraid of being cheated on. I don’t chat with many men or entertain them. I don’t like their pictures and don’t feel the need to chat with so many men every day. If I ignore them it’s becquse they should know I love my husband.

My main question is is it normal for Nigerian men to chat with many many women online and on WhatsApp and Facebook like their pictures and chat away Like this? The househelp thing is really a big problem fueled by poverty and riches. People that are too poor to care of their children send them out for child labor so they can survive, and rich people that can't take care of their children / homes employ them to do it. Very complex thing. I think the government should work out a system whereby all underage house helps are registered in a database and all employers of them must enrol them to school and the job must be without hard labor or abuse and payment should be made to the child's account so they can have a better future. Otherwise, then government should scrap the child house help thing and provide free education, feeding and weekly allowance to poor families.
