OkumagbaBOY:They rub FILTERS ![]() |
Geez, another ULTRA-filtered photos. Most of these so-called Nigerian celebs thrive on deception. Take away the filters and you will see that most of them are ugly and not as picture perfect as the make believe says. |
ProsperChild:"Mysteriously" speaking, the answer is FEAR! When you want to learn swimming, the first thing you will be taught is to overcome fear of water, to let go of your fear of water, then you begin to float immediately you let go of the fear. People who swim have no fear of water in them but people who don't know how to swim carry fear. It is the "weight" of the fear that makes them drown. But a dead body has no fear of the water anymore, so it floats. I hope with this mysterious explanation I have mysteriously cracked your mystery ![]() |
It is never advisable for an amateur swimmer to try and rescue a drowning adult who is already in full panick mode and struggling for survival because the amateur swimmer will likely be pulled under by the person. You need to be very skilled and very strong because a person weighs more inside water than when dry on dry ground. So this is a job for only highly skilled swimmers that are very strong. |

This is one aspect where I fault Buhari. By now, all the service chiefs should have been sacked and replaced, because of all the heavy casualties suffered by our soldiers, and all the fatal havoc being caused by herdsmen militia against civilians in the north and middle belt. During GEJ era, security was so porous and so bad that Boko Haram was actively controlling huge territories in the North spanning states. They had flags hoisted all around and were running amoc doing as they please. Security was so bad that even the capital abuja, the seat of power, was being bombed with reckless abandon during GEJ's time. And I believe this was one of the main reasons GEJ lost the elections because they took security for granted, played politics with defeating Boko Haram that destroyed thousands of thousands of lives. When Buhari came in, he modified the security architecture and changed military strategies and they recorded significant success against Boko Haram and restored security and peace, relatively far better than GEJ time. However, in 2017/2018, only God knows what went wrong, security crisis all over again. First it was with the herdsmen militia running rampage killing civilians all around, and Boko Haram is gaining ground again to the point of taking territories again, and the security of the nation is speedily retrogressing back to the insecurities of the GEJ era. It is a big shame and a big blow to this government. If Buhari is truly serious about securing the nation and winning the fight against the evil elements, with all the heavy casualties being recorded and success being made by enemy forces, then by now he ought to have reviewed and reorganized the security apparatus of the nation, which must include replacing the service chiefs and security heads under whose leadership, command and watch which such disastrous security collapse is happening. It doesn't mean he hates them, it just means you need to change strategy and change staff to accomplish a better result. If not that PDP is such a damaged goods and disoriented opposition party, by now it would be expected that Buhari would lose the election for the same reason GEJ lost, which is massive insecurity in the nation. But fortunately for APC, there is no credible opposition on ground. However, I think President Buhari needs to do better and review the security handlers that have suddenly gone from doing excellent jobs to not so doing well. Imagine if you have a home lesson teacher teaching your child, and the child starts performing well in his studies but then later the child begins to fail in subjects he used to pass before or the child begins to fail qualifying exams repeatedly year after year. Won't you hire another better teacher to take over? That's the thing. President Buhari with his military background ought to know better and do better. Even Obj changed service chiefs when necessary, and the truth is even when not necessary, service chiefs are changed as a matter of routine, for fresher ideas and newer better tactics in protecting the nation. President Buhari I wish you could read this, this is 2019, please do better for the security of Nigeria and change whatever and whomever needs to be changed to keep the nation and its citizens safe. |
@OP : are you waiting till she will kill you or what? Keep waiting, you hear, keep sitting on a timed bomb. A woman like her is still sticking around only because of the benefits she's still enjoying. Maybe she's waiting for you to finish building your house, then give you poison and take over all your assets. Do you know how many landlady's are in Lagos today that never built the houses that they have, but it was their husbands, many of whom died mysteriously. I hope you won't find out the hard way that a cheating wife is deadlier than a black mamba and king cobra combined. |
Uber and Taxify is already on its last leg of "crashing". One more further reckless insensible reduction in fares and kaboom, profitability is gone in flames. All primary profit-sucking factors remain constant: * Lagos traffic √ * Cost of repairs / maintenance √ * Uber/Taxify Commission √ * Bad / unmotorable roads √ * Docs Renewals (comp insurance, licenses etc) √ * wicked riders √ But the constant things about the Profit-making factor is * Fares are on the decline * Unreliable surge This December might have brought some succor in terms of traffic reduction and constant surge, but in like a week's time when the New Year euphoria fizzles out and the tens of thousands of cars that went for village break are back in lagos, then crazy traffic will resume again. I wish I did more research before putting head. Well, that's a story for another day. But my own is, 2019 BAD investments must end ! . By the end of 2019, the fence might be as long as Trump's border wall project ![]() |

Festus Keyamo just put up a big bait for Atiku , which only a stupid idiot will fall for. The same corruption case that is hanging over atiku's head, is the same case that a serving US senator got jailed for. If a serving US senator can be jailed, then who is Atiku? Not to mention other charges of money laundering. There's no constitutional immunity anywhere in the world for a presidential contestant, which is what Atiku is right now. There might be a bending of the law to accommodate and give limited immunity to a President-elect that has won elections based on a gentleman understanding. But no presidential aspirant or contestant has immunity, not even in his own country talkless of in an international country. And not to mention the USA that sees everyone as same under the eyes of the law and believes nobody is above the law. If Atiku steps on US soil right now, he will be arrested, prosecuted and jailed. Believe Festus Keyamo at your own risk ![]() |
Yes, there is surge, and yes there's a place for hard work or smart work, but after investing in the Uber and Taxify system for about over 2 months running now, I can categorically say, 90% of drivers cheat and inflate fares by gps manipulation or app manipulation. Finally I understand why android is usually the preferred phone because it's open to manipulation. Met one driver one time, had a gist, 3 trips and he already made 23k because of SALT n PEPPER. Now it's easy to tag other drivers not making that much money lazy if you're outside the system and don't know what's going on in the system. No! They are not lazy, well at least not all of them. They are just HONEST people. My Uber/Taxify investment adventure ends this December. It's a bad investment for honest people. |
Women sha, always starting a trouble they can't finish. As if women don't urinate in public too, and for the records, a woman peeing in public is 1000 times more of an eyesore than a man peeing in public. And when women pee in public, urine is left dripping all about, and they are 100 times more likely to spread diseases and infections than men. Not to even mention 75% of our women here go around half naked all the time. But men try to ignore your excesses, yet here we are with another entitlement tirade against men. Smh! We men are tired of your nonsensical double standards. |

Kayharry:That would be a very wrong move to begin with. Ladipo boys will usually start quoting inflated prices. IMO, the right move will be to contact a Sonata specialist mechanic and have him do a thorough inspection. Let me tell you a short true story. Once upon a time this year, a lady that found something like this, sky blue, (much neater though, almost like tokunbo standard, and American specs). Owner was selling because of gear problem. Being a street smart person that she was, she informed her mechanic who was a sonata specialist. Mechanic went to check the car alone. After inspection, mechanic informs her secretly, gear is faulty but only due to some minor things, some replacement parts needed, he billed her 600k to get it running perfectly. Then they agree to play along and tell seller that gear is bad, needs replacement, which is costly. Only way she could buy is if seller reduces price drastically. Seller takes the bait, sells off at a ridiculous price, think like 1.5m. Mechanic takes car away smiling, towed straight to workshop, and buyer was temporarily happy, waiting patiently for mechanic to show off his skills and perform his mechanical miracle. Car lands at worship Saturday night. Mechanic deploys his team, they work all night Saturday, all day and night Sunday, and by Monday morning, car was assembled back in order. Monday afternoon, test drive, SUCCESS! Tuesday morning delivered to buyer, who drove happily ever after. So anyways, lesson here is, any serious buyer, first step should be to find a sound reputable skillful sonata specialist mechanic to evaluate it. It might be a faulty gear with an expensive solution, or it might be something minor and cheap to fix. The expert mechanic will be in the best position to advice whether to buy or not. |

radautoworks:Meaning you can’t fix this? |
radautoworks:MG 750FL |
Can I get an estimate labor cost for replacing/fixing the following at the same time: - front lower arms - front and rear stabilizer linkages - front brake pads - front and rear abs sensors - front and rear disc plates - front and rear brake wear sensors - coolant expansion tank replacement - steering wheel controls (fixing). The volume controls etc, stopped working. And when it works it fails or presses wrongly. I already have the replacement parts. So just labor costs. |
These people are making a mockery of themselves. The US ambassador is not answerable to the Nigerian government on how it chooses to conduct its internal affairs. Smh! Summon ko, Conjure ni. ![]() |
ednut1:The same Wilder that throws punches like a drunk man with bad temper; or the same Wilder that boxes like a windmill that’s out of control; or the same Wilder that doesn’t box like a professional 80% of the time? That Wilder is the American boxing champion shows how low boxing has fallen in America. No wonder they lost almost all the belts and haven’t had a unified champion in a long time. |
ednut1:So true , Wilder is just an over—overrated boxer who has been so lucky 98% of his opponents have been nobodies in the boxing world. AJ beat Alexander Potvetkin, a very seasoned and skillful fighter with tremendous boxing pedigree. Potvetkin will beat Wilder like a baby ![]() |
My money is on Fury aka The Gypsy King, and he will definitely KO Wilder and make the greatest boxing comeback in history. The #bronzebomber is about to become the goldenLoser . Wilder is just another overrated loudmouth, all of his fights have been against boxing nobodies, except for his fight with Ortiz. Ortiz is the only real top fighter Wilder has ever faced, and though he won, but Ortiz rocked him like bad, and could have won. Wilder beat Ortiz because Ortiz is old and slow (43years), and really no motivation because Ortiz didn’t have a personal vendetta against Wilder, unlike Fury that hates Wilder with passion. Hates him so much he decided to come out from retirement to shut Wilder up for good, hehe. This is the same Fury that ended the reign of the mighty Klitschko like an underdog, as in Klitschko in his prime and best boxing shape of his life. Fury only won by unanimous decision because Klitschko was hugging him like ‘please don’t kill me here’, because Tyson Fury would have KO’d him to hell .Even the great Mike Tyson believes Fury will win. Just look at Fury’s boxing pedigree below, the guy is the real deal, like the Messi of Boxing, like the Brock Lesnar of WWE... compared to Wilder that boxes like a wind mill ![]()
