Rubbish! Switzerland, Sweden, Japan have no natural resources but they are among the richest countries in the world, while Nigeria with all the above resources is the poverty capital of the world. South East does not need natural resources to survive, they only technological ingenuity which they are abundantly blessed with despite all the frustrations from the federation.

As you can see, the North has the highest natural resources, followed by SouthSouth, SouthWest, and the South East has the least. So in theory, the North wins. In practicality, the SouthSouth wins because of its huge oil and gas deposits. Futuristically, the North wins because oil and gas will soon be obsolete.

The most important resources for any nation are the human resources, intellectual minds, innovative minds and as long as the North continues to deny the majority of their population of education, the so called natural resources will remain in the ground because the humans don"t know how to use them.


It is producers of goods that are getting ahead in today's world, no be all these ones you dey yarn for here. After all, places like Niger and Chad have landmass and natural resources too, but wetin dem dey use am do?

NNPC is very inefficient and has been abused over the years, but a man who enjoyed monopoly with inters at Onne before this administration opened the market for others to enter is not the man we can trust to sell it, not after how NITEL that was supposed to give MTN, Glo and the others a run for their money considering they already had locations nationwide.
What we want Atiku to do instead is to withdraw all Oil wells from private citizens and make it jointed own by FG, State, LGA and Community in a ratio of (25%, 45%, 15% and 15%).
