femtex007:Fury is far better! In fact, he just came back from retirement to come KO Wilder, because he was sick and tired of watching Wilder running his big mouth on TV, lol! |
Fierce11:Actually, #teamFury because Fury is the better fighter. He’s way above Wilder’s league. |
Oluwasaeon:Not going to happen |
Ok, let me get this straight, so Atiku, a party deserter, came back to win PDP presidential nomination and what does he do, he picks a running mate from another party that is a competitor to PDP. What happened to PDP loyalists? And Atiku thinks they will just be happy about it. Lol, ok, just wait till the elections, PDP loyalists will be the ones who will sabotage Atiku by themselves. But it’s none of my business *sipping my tea* |

What happened to buying whatever you want or need by yourself? Why are African women, particularly west African, so mentally degraded to the point that they think that a man exists just to please them, or like a man was created to slave to a woman’s every fickle and vain desires? Rubbish! Look at her yapping nonsense that she can’t date a poor guy but she’s the poor beggar in this equation. Bloody leeches everywhere looking for a dumb man to dump all their life’s problem on his neck and suck all his finances to death. |
This line got me “God invested in me...” Which god? So your god only invested in you to become an overnight billionaire but left 170 million other Nigerians to die from suffering? Hmm, is Atiku another scammer with small boy with big god tales by moonlight? This poverty projection is surely a big turn off. Lost my PVC, and I don’t even plan to vote but even if I still had it, with this rubbish alone this man put out there, I can never vote for Atiku. |

A girl told you point blank the only language she understands is money, and you want a love relationship with that kind of girl? Lol! Let me tell you, you’re just wasting your time. Even if you have money, there will always be another man out there richer than you. You just broke up with a coded hoe that’s tired of hiding her hoe-ness and has now decided to come out public with it. You better be happy, because God just saved you from a big calamity. A relationship is not a poverty alleviation scheme, and your house is not a BBN house that some hoe wants to rush into with their broke self and come out a multimillionaire and then dump you for the next bigger Alhaji that can buy her a house in Abuja. Mtchewww, you deserve a big slap because you’re mentally asleep. You’re the real definition of Ji Ma Sun. Wake up and smell the coffee ![]() |
lagostaxiguy:Should have reported immediately! That sort of driver shouldn’t be on the platform. |
Uncle Aliko? I didn’t know Dangote is DJ Coffee’s uncle. Please is it uncle by blood relations or by big god relations? ![]() |
Even if they cover it with diamonds, I still will not buy ![]() |
jpworld:You claim Kia Rio is worth 250k but you said your girlfriend bought her own Kia Rio for 800k. Why? Why did she pay so much if Kia Rio has no value; why didn’t she pay 250k for it? |
jpworld:Didn’t say it doesn’t have temp gauge, I said the temp gauge doesn’t show a reading. It uses a warning light system. The temp gauge will turn red if there is overheating or about to overheat. But i’ve never had any overheating issue. You are so biased about Kia Rio that it has even prevented you from reading properly. #pic 1: ignition on (hope your hatred for Kia Rio won’t blind you from seeing the temp gauge) #pic 2: car running (all warning lights off)
|
jpworld:With 50k you will fix all the problems of a lemon corolla? Wow, take it easy with the lies. This is beyond exaggeration, and you’re literally hallucinating. The same Corolla that I just bought only new front shock absorbers last month for 20k? Smh, your lies are disgusting. |
jpworld:You just posted another incoherent rubbish! Really it’s a very dumb comment, because I don’t even have any Kia Rio put for sale, so who am I trying to convince to buy? And I don’t even know Gazzuzz, never had any dealings with him. Where’s the asslicking? You just keep throwing directionless punches in the wind with making fake accusations and unintelligent rambles. From Kia Rio is a problematic car, to it has no value, to your gf bought used Kia Rio for 800k and sold to Cars45, to you can fix all of a Corollas problem for 50k, to i’m asslicking Gazzuzz and. I’m yet to read one single meaningful statement from you. And I don’t even think you have ever owned a Kia Rio yourself, so how can you be a final authority, a judge and jury at the same time to conclude Kia Rio is a bad car? Very baffling! And the only frustrated person here is you. Nobody is responsible for your misfortune that your girlfriend was so broke she went to sell her Kia Rio to Cars45 for 165k. Stop hating on Kia Rio for nothing. Kia Rio isn’t responsible for your girlfriend’s failure in Uber business. |
She’s looking for new big gods ![]() |
Enyinne:Which argument? Someone demonized Kia Rio as a bad car based on his personal bias, and I contested that generalization, that Kia Rio is a good car. Did I tell anyone to buy Kia Rio for Uber? No, I didn’t. Did I even get involved with Carshopper’s discussion on it? No. I only replied the man who condemned Kia Rio generally as a bad car, and shared my views that it’s not a bad car. How is that your business or concern? Do you own this thread? Why are you so bitter and frustrated because another person holds a viewpoint different from yours? Or is there a Nigerian law that says you are entitled to insult anybody that doesn’t agree with you or your personal bias? Where are your manners? Do you have home training at all? You just open your arrogant mouth and talk anyhow like you own this place or the people here are your subordinates or your houseboys. Stop running your mouth like tap water as if you’re feeding anyone here. Btw, I see Kia Rio on lagos roads regularly. So, the only place Kia Rio is phasing out is in your small mind and big mouth. |
oluwaseunla:Exactly! oluwaseunla:Thanks for the info, didn’t know this. I’ve only come across the USA specs once, and didn’t see the engine, only saw the interior briefly. It had airbags, but my own from DANA has no airbag. |
Enyinne:Don’t be stupid! Mind your words when you talk to me, i’m not like Gazzuz that will tolerate your insults because he keeps his cool, always striving to keeps things professional and he’s trying to protect his hard-earned reputation. Nobody is feeding me here on Nairaland. If it’s the small change in your pocket that is fueling your arrogance, you better park one side. Or do you think you’re the only person on this forum that has millions? You must be really stupid to ask if my brain is misfiring. Rubbish! |
jpworld:If Kia Rio isn’t rugged, then why is my suspension system still good? I’ve not changed lower arms, tie rods, stabilizer linkages or shock absorbers in 7 years. Mileage i think is around 50k or 60k, will check when i’m home. But (won’t mention the brand name before some uninformed people will now demonize it) my other luxury car that I occasionally drive for leisure, bought brand new too, with about the same mileage with the Kia, the suspension system is already faulty. This is a car that I drive like egg o. I just bought a new complete suspension system: tie rods, front and rear linkages, lower arms, shocks etc. Anyway, it’s not my place to recommend a car for Uber to anyone, people are free to choose whatever they want. If you don’t like Kia Rio for Uber, then that’s fine, but my only contention with you about it is demonizing the car in general as a bad car. It is not a bad car. If your girlfriend agreed to sell her Rio to cars45 for that amount, then it’s either the car was already close to a dead car or she was too desperate for money. Cars45 operates like a pawnbrokers shop, buy at freaking ridiculous prices from desperate owners and then sell the same item at higher prices to make profit. People with damaged goods won’t have a problem selling to people like Cars45, after all they came with damaged goods. But when your goods are in good condition and someone wants to pay you like 1/10th of the value and you agree to sell, then it’s either you are too desperate for cash or something is wrong with you somewhere. So just because your gf sold her Kia Rio for 165k doesn’t mean Kia Rio has useless value, nope, it just means Cars45 just ripped off another gullible owner - and paid her cash wrapped with an invisible nylon that reads “thanks for coming dummie”. A Kia Rio’s resale value is definitely not as high as a corolla, but whether that is a good thing or a bad thing depends on which side you are on. Because it’s a good thing for a buyer to buy a good Nigerian used car at a fair price, unlike corolla that only favors the seller. Buy a car for 1.5m, use it for 4 years and still sell at 1 or 1.1m. How cool is that? For the seller yes, but for the buyer, I think not.

jpworld:My Kia Rio is a hatchback, not a sedan and it is NOT for sale. As for advantages over Corolla, Kia Rio is more fuel efficient than Corolla, add that to your list. And I use my Kia as a workhorse, not for leisure, like when I have to go to areas with very bad roads, flood, or traveling. But you’re right, it’s not an everyday car and I would not use it for Uber, not because it’s not reliable, no, but because the engine is quite costly when I asked around on it. But you are wrong do demonize Kia Rio as a bad car. Just because you don’t like Kia Rio doesn’t mean you should demonize it. I don’t like Corolla, but I have it. I don’t like it because it’s over-prized. I personally believe it should cost far lesser than what the market price is. But I won’t demonize it because of that. Toyota Corolla is a good car, Kia Rio is also a good car. |
jpworld:This is a rubbish statement! I own a Kia Rio, 2008 hatchback model, bought brand new from Dana in November 2011, and up till today, no issues whatsoever. Other than normal routine service of oil change, brake pads change, AC gas refill, I have never done any repairs on the car. In fact, I just replaced the fan / timing belt early October 2018, that’s like almost 7 years. Show me how many cars that their belts are that durable? And it was a simple fix for the mechanic. As for fuel efficiency that people usually hype corollas for, Kia Rio is even more fuel efficient. And i’m speaking from 1st hand angle, because I use both cars. There was a time in 2016, my 2004 Ford Transit van, high roof, long wheel base, with about 5000+ GVWR broke down around Ogudu, towing vans were calling high price, hmm, I just called for my Kia Rio and I towed the Ford from Ogudu to bariga and my Kia engine was up to the task. I towed another bigger car with it this year from Lekki to mainland, and no problems whatsoever. As for me, let me speak for myself, my Kia has been a very reliable workhorse. 7 years, I have never topped the coolant, no leaks in the cooling system. I only replace coolant after 3 years as a general protocol. When I bought the car, it had an electric temp gauge, you won’t see any reading at all, just the temp symbol and I wasn’t comfortable with that. I like to look at the temp reading, so that I can know when and if the car is about to overheat. But in 7 years, I have never had any overheating, not even once. My radiator fans have never failed for one day in 7 years, and it’s an intermittent fan, shuts on and off, low speed, high speed etc. Never replaced thermostat in 7 years, never replaced any fuse or relays in seven years, only changed the rear light bulbs. For 7 years, my headlights are still working well, no burn outs, even the fog light still works (unlike Corollas that die out easy, barely 2 months, my corolla fog light and full beam light is dead because i entered some flooded areas, but my Rio has been in more flood than I can count). In 7 years, all my dashboard instrument panel set still works fine, car stereo still works fine, although the CD player misbehaves sometimes. Bottom line is, among all my cars and cars that i’ve used, only the Kia Rio has lasted 7 years straight without giving me any major problems. So i’m wondering how you came up with this type of false premise about Kia Rio. Kia Rio is a car I would recommend to anybody, and I hardly recommend any car brand. If you maintain it well and drive it well, it will serve you. But if you fire down regularly anyhow, flooring your pedal to be competing with V6 and V8’s on the road, as if the Kia Rio is a Ferrari, then you will have yourself to blame. As for Uber/Taxify the only reason i chose Corolla over the Rio was because when I asked about it, the corolla engine was far cheaper to buy. But Kia is in the same league with Hyundai: costly engine. And for a car that will be driven all day, all week, all year long, better to use a car whose engine can be easily replaced without cutting my head off. Anyway, this your claim about Kia being a problematic car is false as far as I’m concerned. Like Trump would say - #FAKENEWS ![]() PS: here’s another spoiler, since January 2018, i’ve been parking my Kia Rio on the street and this is November 2018, no single case of theft or vandalism . And mind you, this is an open community on the mainland with bad boys all around, not like a restricted estate or exclusive court. Sometimes the car might not even move in 2 weeks, other than dust, nobody has interest in touching it, no missing side mirror glass or missing emblem, or missing brainbox. But my corolla, ehn, who born me well, after all the stories that touch i’ve heard online and offline? ![]() |

If obvious propaganda and obvious lies are the strategy PDP wants to use to win 2019, then it is very clear that PDP will definitely lose the elections. The APC federal government made too many blunders and shot themselves on the foot so many times to the point that they have already done half of the work needed for their opposition to defeat them. That Deji guy was probably right then, that there are no smart thinkers in PDP, just looters. But, anyway, that’s their problem. Let me just mind my business. |
frank317:Shot upwards! |
That’s what some trigger happy people don’t understand. It’s pure science: Whatever goes up must come down. So when you fire a bullet up in the air, be guaranteed that it will later come down somewhere else or in the same location if fired perfectly diagonally. But some stupid people will just be shooting in the air anyhow as if the bullets are going to heaven and won’t come back or as if it will disappear in the air. When it lands, God help anything that’s in its way. It will be like a gunshot again, and it’s deadly. |
