They spend money promoting their website which in turn bring sales for sellers, unlike other platforms like BrandBucket where favoritism is rife and they do not spend shiii on advertising through adsword or facebook...

@mobiss,

You don't need experience to get a positive assessment from Engineer Australia. Use your undergraduate thesis and industrial attachment to write the CDR.

You may not get positive assessment from AIMS.

Goodluck.
Thanks, boss.

So, If I am calculating my points score I will have to choose zero years of work experience since my current job experience is not related to Engineering? Or is my current logistics job experience enough to claim 3 years score points under points calculator?
TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by mobiss(m): 11:13am On Jun 01, 2019
Hi All,

I need help with my PR process, here is my education and work experience info:

- I've B.Tech in Mech. Engr
- 3 years of work experience in Logistics and Supply Chain

Scenario One: If I choose to apply for any Mechanical Engineering jobs like Industrial Engineering that my work experience as a logistics and supply chain officer cut across a bit into and tweak my job responsibilities to meet up with Industrial Engineering (ANZSCO) requirements, my concern is that I may need to defend three career episodes with CDR from my work experiences using SIWES, Final year project and my logistics jobs experience to be able to get assessed by Engineers Australian body. My question is, is there any chances of me scaling through this assessment body, considering the facts that I have no Engineering work experience but just only trying to blend my work experience into Engineering? Anyone with this type of experience should please shed more light on this type of scenario, I will highly appreciate it as it will go a long way for me.

Case two: My second option lies with Supply and Distribution Manager jobs (ANSZCO) which is where my work experience fits into right now, but the evaluating body for this profession; AIM, requires that I must have been working as a senior manager and reporting to CEO for at least 5 years or more. And this I don't have as my position is just an entry-level job. Is there anything one can do in this case?

Finally: Having found the above two processes cumbersome, I am thinking of enrolling for two months training artisan job (wall and floor tiler) with a certificate of completion after the two months of training and get a job in that area for at least one or two years to gather experience before applying for TRA as a Wall and Floor Tiler. I hope this route will create a seamless PR processing for me? I'll appreciate anybody with TRA experience to kindly enlighten me on this journey before setting out for it.

Thanks in anticipation!

[quote author=bellong post=77915933]@Mobiss,

It is very pertinent to have a third party evidence of employment which include one of tax certificate, pension statement or bank statement. If you get through the assessment without it, you may likely not get through main application stage without it and that will amount to PR visa denial.

It is either you stick to the three years experience as paid and the other two as unpaid or talk to the head office to sort something out for you.

Thanks for the speedy response.

So, How can I claim the two years of work experience as an unpaid job? What's required for this process?
Also, do you mean either any of these three; tax certificate, pension statement, and bank statement can work as third party evidence?

If I get you right, a tax certificate, in this case, would be the company's tax certificate or what?

Hi,

@bellong and other op of this thread.

Thanks for your time and the good job you are doing in here.

I have B.Tech Mechanic Engineering, with two years work experience from Engineering company (Power Station Project). My two years work experience in this Engineering company was as a casual staff with no employment letter and wages being paid from hand-to-hand for the aforementioned time frame.

My questions are:

1- I want to claim the two years work experience as a Entry-level Plant Engineer, but the bone of contention is getting employment reference letter from the head office as I was hired to work on site in another state.

So, I am planning to talk with one or two people in the location I worked to see if it’s possible for head office to help with a reference letter.

Secondly, the issue of pay-slip, pension fund and tax clearance is what I don't know if the head office will be willing to help with. Likewise, I don't know if any other documents will suffice for pay-slip, pension fund and tax clearance?

I am planning to gather five years work experience points, as I have additional three years work experience from a telecommunication company with all the necessary documents.

Thanks in anticipation.

1. Since we've established that your wife has work experience, this option is no longer necessary. Make her the PA.
2. That's great, she should ensure that both workplaces provide reference letters. Also, if she can get another teaching job to make it up to 3 years, it would be awesome. It doesn't matter that the work experience is not related to her degree.
I also want to clarify, is the diploma part of the BSc? As in, did she use the diploma to gain direct entry admission? Because if that's the case, the ECA might come out as Bachelor's and not 2 or more certificates.
4. Absolutely
Thanks bro,

1- That's the option we are going for now. Making her the PA.

2- We will make arrangement for pro bono teaching service in her former school to sum up the experience to 3 years like you said.
She gained admission with diploma as direct entry. But with two different certificates for the two qualifications.

The questions are:

Is it under NOC 0,A or B?
Were you paid?

If yes, you are good to go.

If the working hours were min. 30hrs/wk, you can claim 2yrs full-time work experience.
Thanks for the response sir. But I was been paid on wages with no data on HR pay roll. But all good.

Ifeoma77:
1. Masters degree. What do you mean by 90 points?
b. Yes, she needs to write IELTS. With her 2 certificates, She's actually in a better position to be the PA. Did she do NYSC? If yes, that is enough work experience to apply with. If not, she should get a teaching job asap. She can gather 1 year work experience faster than you getting masters or PNP.
2. PNP is an option and you don't need a job offer to get a PNP nomination. For more information on PNP see this thread https://www.nairaland.com/4180147/all-canadian-provincial-nominee-programs
3. No and please don't claim anyone, you will put both yourself and them in trouble.
Thanks so much for the speedy response.

1) To be more realistic Msc is a tough call for me due to my business nature, but I can make do with online Msc if it’s acceptable.

2) My wife just reminded me now that she had 1yr 9 months teaching experience in primary school plus one year NYSC teaching experience as well.Just like you said, she might be the right person for PA. But those working experience is not relate to her first degree and diploma certificate in (Industrial and Labour Relations). Does this matter when chosing her NOC skill category? Will she have to chose teaching as NOC skill?

3) Will check the PNP link out. Thanks

4) With no blood relatives in Canada, is it still a ‘go ahead’ process for us?
