It's not actually a big deal. The main focus of the day will be the Bride and Groom. Everyone would be busy taking pictures of them, waiting for a fall, waiting for their first kiss, First dance, First on-stage romance. All you have to do is: fan her, help with her gown(esp the walk-in and dancing stage), clean her face in sight of sweat or makeup running down, run some errands for her and sit by her side.

Oh my God! Why do I know all these?! *runs away*

I applied this month. I went with my transcript printout and they decline further processing. A church member of mine works there even at a higher rank. I'm supposed to scan the original and send to them today.

For nov/Dec, he needs an original Certificate. The reason I said he should take #20k+ with him is that just transportation would cost more(though depends on his home location). Taking your car with you is a big No No! The traffic is horrible!

Yeah. Go to Waec head office with #20k+(to be on the safer side)

You will be needing a letter of attestation either from a clergyman, Imam or from the Court.

Also, An affidavit. Both should cost you nothing less than #1k.

You will pay for the original result and send via courier. Depending on location and the choice of courier. FedEx is #9500 to USA and Canada.
Chase is #8250 or so to Canada.

It would take approximately three weeks for it to get there. Waec will have to verify the result and all. If it's Waec Nov/Dec, take with you your original Certificate!

True, they do have lots of tests at least, that's what a lady schooling over there said but then again, it varies

Check with the school for availability of residence..or you could squat with a friend over there. Do have this sorted out before attempting to travel. If you get lucky, you could find someone applying to your school or close, and share an apartment.

Check with the School's International common society, if they would be nice enough to help with a spot(for a while). Normally, they help picking up international students from the Airport (should u sign up for it)

Should it interest you, I posted a screenshot of possible expenses to be incurred over there. Concerning School fees, check the school's website

Which school are you planning on applying to?

I applied to two mcmasters nd Windsor for masters nd lakeland for a diploma git response of acceptance from lakeland.

So I started my visa process online,submitted and actually done my biometrics like 3 weeks ago.

So want to know aw long it usually takes to get a feedback or know what next.

I assume you must have paid for the application fee(100CAD). Just hold on, after sending all the required documents. They get pushed back to the faculty of Graduate Studies, after further processing they will update your Lakehead University myInfo page and also send an email. So keep checking your MyInfo page.
N.B: There's no time frame for response. Once they are through processing your application, they will contact you.

If you still have access to cash, I would advice you to apply to another uni.

Here's some info for students resuming this fall or winter. From Possible Expenses to needed equipments/Items.

Tips:
-Instead of opting in for bus pass..get a bicycle instead from kijiji. It should save you some cost.

-If you can't cook or yet to adjust to their market, opt in for the School's plan meal

-You can find someone who wants a roommate/shared house, move in! You get to pay half the apartment rent and still enjoy Internet and heat!

Skype has been around and will always be around. Iphone's facetime is similar but it's just for Iphone users Only. While with Skype, it's readily available as long as you have a front camera or you could make use of the voice feature only. Lets not forget the text message feature too..with numerous smileys.

With Skype video call, you get 6+mins access with loved ones for free. You could get a video visual on what your child is doing in Campus far away from home(as long as one of u call), you could keep that spark even at a distance with your partner, and it's also ideal for business(sales or conference calls).

You could always opt in for their plans, buy a voucher and use video call with no interruption.

So why not Skype today?!

Guys, don't update your mc5. It's total crap! Extremely poor graphics and stale new features.

Only slight improvement is Google account association which by the way, still doesn't work. It only allows you input a new name, agree to their terms and as soon as u click Sign In. It doesn't. It does quite the opposite.

The graphics pain me o..After making mouth here that mc5 graphics is superior! cry
