PoliticsKillings:amnesty International Report Accurate-ty Danjuma. by Modarun(op): 1:46pm On Dec 23, 2018
Former minister of defence, General T.Y Danjuma (retd), has decried the deplorable security situation in the country, saying there’s too much killings in Nigeria.
Danjuma, who stated this at the 11th Festival of Praise with the theme “Sing out! Our God reigns” which held in Abuja yesterday, cited the latest Amnesty International report on the security situation in the North-East as being credible.
His words: “We don’t have peace in Nigeria we are at war, at war with ourselves, this war has no war front. It is all over the place.
“The Amnesty International did a report, I will request you to obtain a copy of that report and read it. I request you to decide for yourself because we all live in this country. Whether the report is accurate or not. We are all victims of what is going on in our country.
“If foreigners tell us the truth and our own people in authority are denying it, we should put them right
“And not seat back and keep quiet, Amnesty International was telling the truth. May God help Nigeria.”
He charged Nigerians to eschew bitterness and imbibe the virtue of peace and tolerance as the nation prepares for the 2019 general elections.
He said: “Nigerians should use the season as an opportunity to pray for Peaceful coexistence and tolerance among one another in the country.”

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is Behind Okorocha's Troubles - APC Source by Modarun(m): 6:42pm On Dec 22, 2018
Let the children of greed who are decieveing themselves read the above news. Okorocha is seen as a clog in Tinubus wheel. There is doubt Okorocha is very popular and well accepted by Northers. The more reason he should be pushed out.

Tinubu Re-organises APC Ahead Of 2023

“There is no pretence that Tinubu is gearing to run for the presidency after Buhari might have concluded his second term and the time for the ground work is now. So, the APC national leader has practically launched that bid with the game he played during the party’s governorship primaries.
“The calculation was to install his loyalists as governors in order to have a solid base as well as to cripple other party chieftains, who may pose a threat to his ambition in 2023. That informed his support for the party’s governorship candidates in Lagos, Oyo and most importantly, Ogun State. “Though he had his way during the primaries, the battle is yet to be over because those who lost out have not given up. That is why you see fresh alignments and realignments about two months to the elections. Ogun State is a typical example; you saw how APC lawmakers in the state and other chieftains dumped the party in their numbers.
“So, for Tinubu to keep hope alive ahead of 2023, he has to stay back home and make sure that his anointed candidates; Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Lagos, Dapo Abiodun in Ogun and Adebayo Adelabu in Oyo, emerge tops in the governorship elections though he is also working for Buhari’s re-election,” the source said. It would be recall that the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, recently urged the people of South-West to vote for President Buhari in the 2019 elections to guarantee a return of power to the region in 2023. Fashola said besides the massive investments by the Buhari administration on infrastructure across the country and in South-West in particular, the zone would benefit more politically by voting for Buhari.
The minister, who spoke in Yoruba language and with a proverb said: “Did you know that power is rotating to the South- West after the completion of Buhari’s tenure if you vote for him in 2019? “Your child cannot surrender her waist for an edifying bead and you will use the bead to decorate another child’s waist. A vote for Buhari in 2019, means a return of power to the South West in 2023. I am sure you will vote wisely.” Already, the APC national leader has a firm grip of the party’s structures in Lagos and Osun states, but he is working to take over those of Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti and Oyo states. Meanwhile, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lanre Isa-Onilu, who allayed fears over Tinubu’s position, said there is no doubt that the party’s national leader remains committed to the party and that whatever stand he takes would be in the interest of the party. His words: “I have not seen the report you are talking about, but in the first place, that could be a bit hypothetical as members of the campaign council have not been announced. “What you should be certain of, is that whatever position Asiwaju Bola Tinubu takes, as someone who has demonstrated uncommon leadership for this party, it must be in the best interest of the party.
“So, if for any reason it is true that Asiwaju said he was not going to chair the campaign council, by the time you get the details, you will know he has taken the best decision. “As l said, l have not seen that report and l don’t know the reasons he gave and in any case appointments have not been announced as far as the council is concerned. That is why l said it is hypothetical, but l am at peace and nobody in the party will lose sleep because they are certain that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is working 24/7 in the best interest of the party.”
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is Behind Okorocha's Troubles - APC Source by Modarun(m): 6:36pm On Dec 22, 2018
Anyone with half a brain knows this is the whole truth.
1. Okorocha is accepted in the North more than any Southern APC members.
2. He is more of a Northerner than IBO, was born, raised, schooled and still has massive followership in the North.
3. Tinubu on the other hand is a mere tool for the Cabal. Senseble Northerners views him with great distrust. so Its very easy to see why Tinubu and Fashola would want Okoroacha out of the picture.
The greatest winner in all of the drammer is prolly the people of Imo. I was there recently and know asper governor APC might clinch it, but as per Presidency? IMO has Atikulated.

Lol. BMO logic.
# Buhari is so popular yet has to spend billions every month for propaganda.
# Buhari is doing so well, the nation is progressing, yet Nigeria has failed in all socio economic indices of human development.
#Buhari is a loving father and husband, yet they cant even get him and his wife to snap a single picture sharing a smile.
# Buhari is the last hope of a common man, but the common men are dying of hunger , slaughtered so cattles can feed.
#Buhari is the peoples champion, yet they cant even get ordinary Nigerians on the street to say nice things about him, they have to result to using edited cartoons.
#BMC post, liked by BMC members and believed by lifeless Zombies.

The BMC are so pathetic, their lifeless fossil refused to attend the debate. They dont even trust the dullard to deliver even if they gave him all the answers. So what did they do? they went and produced a cartoon debate script, between Buhari and Atiki. Specially Written, edited and produced by them.

#Trust the APC Zombie to now claim Buhari have attended the debate already. chai, we haff suffered in this country.
Politics2019 Election: All Pvcs Ready For Collection. by Modarun(op): 5:51pm On Dec 22, 2018
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said it has printed Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for all new registered voters between 2017 and 2018 and that they are ready for collection.
INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, disclosed this on Friday in Abuja after the swearing-in of the new Secretary to the Commission, Mrs Rose Oriaran-Anthony.
Yakubu also said that all the PVCs of those who requested for replacement and relocation of their cards ahead of 2019 general elections, had also been printed and ready for collections.
”The commission has printed all PVCs for new registrants between April 27, 2017 and Aug. 31, 2018.
”We have also printed all the requests for replacement of lost cards, all requests for transfer and relocations.
”The last batch that we printed were for those who applied for transfer and relocation, and those who applied for replacement of damaged and defaced cards.
”This will be delivered immediately after the Christmas break. So we are happy to say that all 14.5 million or so new registered voters have their cards printed and delivered to the states. So we are good to go on that,” Yakubu said.

Never said rice sharing does not exist today. My point is that it was all OBJ days was about whereas folks have moved on in leaps and bound today in what is becoming a more sophisticated political age by the minute.

OBJ would not win even a local government today because he would not be able to appeal to the electorate as the modern politician has to achieve because voters are becoming more demanding and asking more governance-related questions. Remember the "collect their money and vote your choice" became popular in the last few years to signiy increasing political awareness of our people.

OBJ's day was really bad because they rigged openly and whipped Nigerians with koboko to then send them home with tom tom sweets.

As far as Igbo Presidency, yes it is right in equitable terms but you guys schemed yourselves out of consideration with your non-stop anti-Nigerian behaviour and agitation. No one feels comfortable trusting Igbos with power. Would you trust Igbos with power if you were not Igbo given the behaviour of the Igbos in the past ten years?
so says a supporter of Alpha Beta and Almajiri economic policy, where you impoverich people for 3years, then give them 10k stipends to buy their conscience.

Try the violence angle na? if its easy. The simply facts that you are now plotting to perpetuate a failed govt just so you get a chance to replace it in 2023, is enough proof of your greed and selfishness.
The entire country is in turmoil, Poverty and hunger is wide spread, coupled with an increase in violence and bloodshed. What would expect those who claim to be sophisticated to do is to join hands and push it out, but no, all you can think of is how to replace it on 2023.

Actually, no other region has licked the boot of the North more than the East has been doing throughout our democratic journeys as a nation. Let's list the following complete history replete with extreme boot-lickings by the East:

Balewa+Azikiwe vs Awolowo;
Shagari+Ekwueme vs Awolowo;
Obasanjo+Atiku vs Falae
Yar'Adua+Jonathan vs Atiku;
Jonathan+Sambo vs Ribadu.

Do you have more to add?

And we all know the Southeast vuvuzela'd Jonathan's 5-to-6-year term(s) as an Igbo presidency, and Jonathan blatantly made sure it was so.

So, if you live in a glass house, please don't throw stones. Plus, those who forget/ignore history are condemned to repeat it.

Ibos always support those who would not only unite Nigeria, but will bring prosperity to all not for selfish reason like your kind.

Pls stop the lies. Yorubas didnt vote Atiku and Ribadu. Everyone knws Yorubas voted enmass for the PDP Presidential candidate in 2003, 2007 and 11. You thought OBJ, Yaradua, and GEJ would sideline the rest of the South, but since they didnt you tagged them bad men. Most of you are now happy cos the govt is working in your favour at the detriment of other parts of the South. If you voted for opposition then, how many SW states did Atiku and Ribadu win? pls Just stick with the facts, stop with the propaganda already.

Its your legendary clanish greediness, like we saw in Tinubus quest to control the NASS, that is the reason for the lack of support from other sections of the APC. Your people always sort to corner for yourself what should be enjoyed by everyone else. You blow alot of hot air for a tribe that everyone knows are scared of true competition, whose advancements relays heavily on scheming against other section of the South. Yrubas oy trive when others are sidelined or oppressed.
when the news of Enugu Airport upgrade broke, your paymasters sponsored media propaganda against the project. why? cos they dont want other regions to compete on a level playing ground. When news hit the stands that Ports in Akwa Ibom and Cross River were to be upgraded, Yorubas who have atleast 6ports started the “ since when did Yorubas start eating crumbs?” movement in your various tribal platforms. Bros a truely progressive people will demand that every section be carried along and true sophistication has never been scared of competition, infact they welcomes it. To prove that its really ahead.
When the wall fell in Germany, The West funded the gradual intergration of the East, the infrastruture upgrade and so on. But despite without much federal presence or help from the center, The East of this nation has managed against all odds and gang up to rebuild their region, yet you guys are always up all night trying so hard to stop or stall their advancement. So the hell with your empty chest beating rheotorics. We knw who the real enemies of the entire South is.

Look, Igbos are a great set of people in many aspects of life. Yet never politics because you people cannot get over the civil war loss and have a mentality of settling the score with others, mainly Yorubas you claim betrayed you, to the extent you can never be objective.

Are Igbos succesful? Of course. Yet why do you need to prove that to Yorubas and others daily if not because you still hanker for moral victory today over a war you lost many decades ago?

Obansanjo is a terrible Yoruba man and he was a disastrous President but would you lot actually thrive more under a Tambuwal rather than an Osinbajo ?

You are so ideologically opposed to the Yorubas, because of indoctrination you gain from birth against us, you don't even see or notice what matters.

Which State is more supportive of Igbos and tolerant of everyone if not Lagos , under the Tinubu you hate so much, where you do so well and are even becoming more absorbed into local politics than anywhere else in Nigeria?

Continue supporting North because you hate Yorubas but the reality shows that everyone thrives under the egalitarian, peaceful, tolerant and progressive Yorubas.

I personally want the presidency to come to the SW because I feel Yorubas need to atone for how, out of so many capable hands, a misruler represented and damned us in the form of OBJ. I know if a proper Omoluabi like Osinbajo or Fashola is numero uno then Yorubas can pay their dues to Nigeria and set the right and balanced example for others to follow.

If we dont get that then I am still cool with the reality of living in the safest, most opportuned and most progressive region in Nigeria. There is nothing showcasing the best of Nigeria the SW and Yorubas dont lead at. We do not lag behind anyone and set the pace in many aspect of positive, daily Nigerian living. Yorubas won't lose out whichever way.
Did you even.read what you just wrote? Pound for pound based on competence and capacity can you sincerely in your hearts of hearts say there is a Peter Obi match in the entirr South west?
What is wrong with you bunch? so simply because you managed to vote for a winning candidate all on a sudden you are now the only sensible people down south? So its Only Omoluabi that can rule Nigeria abi? The tribal bigot cant even conceal his bigotry.
You guys have crossed the line, pls man up to the consequencies of your actions and stop trying to justify your stance. Noone cares about or need your tribalistic justification.
Osibanjo has been V.P in almost 4 years there is nothing to show but extreme poverty and hardship, so shameless he shuttles around the nation buy votes. Fashola is now Minister of power, works and housing still they cant point to a single 2kilometer of 4 lane road they have initiated and complete. All of these people you mentioned are failures.
Pacesetters dont cling to power na. why then are you lots hell bent on 2023? lol your chest beating is like a child bragging with inherited wealth over another making his own. The South East fought a civil war for crying out load. lol, No single storey building standinh, No high way not a single basic infrastruture but here they are competing with you? is that not a shame? you can decieve your self, but we all knw why you seek power.
if indeed you true care about the South or Ndigbo start by supporting the removal of Buhari. That move alone would attone for your hand in destroying the fragile unity in the south.
As it stands nothing you say can change the rest of the Souths collective resolve about your People. Even.worst everyday Tinubu ibadan-oshogbo brwon roof media has continued the onslaught.

Dont be fooled by media propaganda. Here are the dynamics of how it will pan out either way.

2019, Buhari wins, rules for just 4 years. More resentment from the N. Central, NEast, S.South and S. East of the S.West. cos of the continues exclussion of their Region in the govt. More killings, more economic woes. Buhari will then hand over a fractured, fragmented country to the Yorubas.
In the end the man wont even achieve anything.

2019. The S. West, N. central, N. East and South East votes Atiku. This will prove Nigerians want unity and peace over Buhari/Tinubu e devisive politics. Atiku govt forms a ballanced govt where every section or region will be carried along. Less friction, The country becomes truely a united front, to fight against Insecurity, poverty and divisive elements.

What is more important is that Atiku 4-8 will mean calming of nerves, restoration of peace. So that when power return to the South the person that takes over will lead in peace.

Poor dude deluding himself, besides you spoke too soon sad...In politics there are no permanent friends or enemy but permanent interest
My take exactly! Buhari have not even won but they have started plotting how to replace him and share posts between themselves!. They have not learnt anything from the Abiola case. grin
They refused to learn that a Yorubaman became the president simply because the rest of the South didnt play politics of divide and rule but insisted power must shift to the region.
They keep making senseless noise about not gaining anything under Goodluck but forgot that Obasanjo didnt do anything for the South East and South South while in power too, but still they backed him in 2003 when the Northern onslaught against the Yoruba in power started in 2003 by Northen leaders with Rimi and Buhari leading the charge. The South West easily forgot that power remained in the South West from 2003-2007 simply because the other sections of the South refused to betray the South region when they had power.
They claim OBJ did nothing, but a simple google on power project from that Govt would show that the South West benefited for more with over 60% of the entire power project constructed by OBJ sited in the South West. They forgot the reason Ogun is doing so well in attracting Manufacturing companiess is as a result of OBJ power projects in the region. They now blame the rest of the South for OBJ refusing to be selfish like Tinubu and co. Is it the South east or South south fault that OBj stopped Lagos allocations? Is it The rest of the other South (SS/SE) alone that made OBJ president? Is it not this same AD leathers now in APC Southwest and the entire South west that voted enmass for OBJ to continue in 2003? So why are you claiming OBJ was not your candidate?
You forgot so soon that despite Abubakar Rimi and Buhari picked V.Ps from the South East, the South East you demonize today didnt betray the Southern region cos of the believe the South should have its fair share of power. You forgot that since 1999-2015, the S. East and S. South have been around the corridors power and no one attacked or called the Yorubas names. Just a little V.P position these children of greed wants to destroy any chance of the Southern people of Nigeria ever producing the president again.
Our Yoruba brothers greediness didnt allow them remember that when they decided to pitch against the rest of the South in 2015, they had put a very deep dent on the unity of the entire South region. Even more disheartning is their willingness to seal the fate of the entire South unity by their greedy quest to replace Buhari come 2023 with this divide and rule tactics. Lol. We shall see how that pans out sha. But may God forbid they succeed. That means The North will forever have the presidency.
I hope Yorubas on this selfdestructive mode realize the S. South and S. East are going to go against any and every candidate they support from now on until they grow some sense? I hope they realize that if it wasnt for the unity in the entire South in 1999, no single southern geo zone can alone force the North to share power?
All of a sudden Restructuring, Resource control and State police championed for many years while in the opposition is no longer a good thing for Nigeria.
But its a good thing, we now know your wishes and plans for the other parts of the South, we hope after 2019 when your wicked hopes and greedy quest have been dashed, you guys will be ready to face whatever you get in the end?
Dear Yorubas you really spoke too soon.
How many Northerners will join hands with the Tinubu part of the West to win 2023? Who and who is in the APC Northern cabal that would back Tinubu? is it Abba Kyari and Mamman Daura ( Buharis eyes and ears) that disgraced him from 2015 until they needed him for 2019? or is it Atiku, Kwankwaso, Galadima he betrayed and messed up? or is it shifty Elrufai (called Osibanjo a commisioner), Or Sani and he bleeped in the butt? Politics is a game of interest. Tinubu interest has created so many enemies nationally and locally, in and outside of the APC. They say never attack a master when he is winning, right now Tinubu is winning, but not for long. You people forgot too soon that what goes around shall always come around.
Now Tinubu boys are walking around feeling like some demi gods. we hope when they start dishing you the poo you are dishing others now, erats wont do Oduduawa or death like the Ibos. cheesy.

When I say Tinubu deposed PDP I am talking of the long-term effort of Jagaban to create the APC merger and make "unelectable" Buhari sellable. Remember Buhari won not a single SW State in 2011 only to then win all SW states in 2015 bar Ekiti?

Who is responsible for that if you are a truthful and honourable man? Don't argue about small margins and such nonsense. Simply tell us how Buhari, previously unelectable in the SW to the extent he won no single state in 2011, went on to win in the region in 2015 only four years later.

If you shun sentiments and work out the obvious answer you will get the central point about grassroot politicking where influential men and women are carried along to deliver for the politicians who don't use use them today and abandon them tomorrow as OBJ, Bode George and other PDP leaders do consistently.
Lol. see these deluded bunch? Lemmi educate your ignorant butt. Buhari is president today for one reason only, the cabals that owns Nigeria agreed he should be, not Tinubu, not APC.
If OBJ was on Jonathans side, A Million Tinubu cannot do anything. You guys are so deluded in your praise worship of your demigod to the extent you dnt even see the danger.

Who is Tinubu outside of South West? You guys are so deluded you cant even tell yourselves the truth. Right now Abba Kyari and Daura are in charge of this government. They are thebones calling the shots, not Tinubu.
Tinubu power and influence starts and ends at the SWest.

If PDP is to be fair in fact, it would present a SE or SS candidate in recognition of the massive support it has enjoyed from that region since 1999. Anything else would be taking the Eastern region for granted.
If the APC rigs in 2019 and then field a Yoruba, be rest assured the South South and East will back a Northerner and that will definately seal the fate of the entire south. Of course. Just the little problem of where the trust and loyal support will come from for an Igbo Presidency. Then again, on the ground reality has never mattered to you guys.

You never understand that actions have consequences and disregard the very important ethos of bridge-building that is pivotal in politics. When others are bridge-building and forging alliances you call them "slave" and "terrorist jihadist" only to then expect support from the same people tomorrow. Incredibly re.tarded behaviour if you ask me.

PoliticsAddress Persecution Of Christians In Nigeria Now, US Leaders Tell Trump. by Modarun(op): 1:34pm On Dec 20, 2018

Political and religious leaders convened at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday to urge the Trump administration to address the persecution of Christians in Nigeria and the Lake Chad region of Africa.
"As we approach the Christmas holiday there's an ongoing crisis that we need to speak about," Republican congressman Ron Estes (Kansas) told those in attendance. "Sadly, Christians in Nigeria are under fire in what many are calling a genocide by sectarian groups like Boko Haram."
Citing growing food scarcity and increases in human trafficking, Estes stated it was important to "shed light" on the plight of the "more than two million individuals" displaced by violence.
The Lake Chad region—Cameroon, Niger, Chad, and Nigeria—has been wracked with violence and political unrest since 2009 when Boko Haram launched an insurgency against the Nigerian government. In recent months the Islamic jihadist group, which until recently was affiliated with ISIS, has escalated its attacks on Christians in areas where they constitute the ethnic minority.
In his remarks, Estes called on the Trump administration to move past humanitarian aide and appoint a special envoy to work directly with foreign governments and international organizations in preventing further bloodshed.
"It's important to note that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Ambassador Sam Brownback, and other government agencies are doing a lot to support peace and stability in this region," the congressman said. "However, we know more can be done to end the violence and save lives."
"The problem is serious and time is running out," Estes added.
Calls for a special envoy come amid an uptick in violence against Christians in Nigeria. Since the start of this year alone, more than 2,300 Christians have been killed in the country, according to the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law. By some reports, more than 16,000 Christians have been slaughtered in the region over the last three years.
The majority of the violence has been perpetrated by Boko Haram and the Fulani, one of Nigeria's largest ethnic Muslim groups. Fulani herdsman and Boko Haram have launched an aggressive campaign of raids on farming communities in northern Nigeria, where Christians are the minority.
The raids have proven devastatingly effective as nearly 900 churches have been burned and countless women and children have been kidnapped and trafficked. Despite strong evidence to the contrary, the Nigerian government has sought to play down the violence as a minor disagreement between different ethnic groups.
Speaking alongside Estes was former Republican congressman Frank Wolf (Va.), Archbishop Benjamin Argak Kwashi of the Anglican Church of Nigeria, and Faith McDonnell of the Institute on Religion and Democracy, among others. The event was organized by the Save the Persecuted Christians Coalition, a group that partners with religious and humanitarian organizations to alleviate religious oppression across the globe.
Wolf, who was noted for his human rights advocacy in Congress, said it was imperative to take a stand given the strategic importance the region held to global security and stability.
"Nigeria is the largest country in Africa," Wolf said. "If it unravels it will pose an existential threat to Europe and many other countries…. I plead with the administration … to appoint a special envoy."
The sentiment was echoed by Archbishop Kwashi, the leader of the largest Anglican diocese in northern Nigeria.
"This is a nation that is very rich, a nation that would reduce the burdens of America if it was properly harnessed. One that could help the other African countries," Kwashi said. "But it has been bedeviled and over time the structures of democracy that [should] strengthen a nation internally have been weakened."
The bishop claimed it was impossible to dismiss the genocide being perpetrated by Islamic extremists as a simple "clash between farmers and herdsmen."
"If you look at the geography of the killings from the beginning of Boko Haram, and even before that, you would have noticed that the killings are systematic," said Kwashi. "They are deliberative, they are calculated and those carrying them out are well trained. Everyone knows that they are trained either by Al-Qaeda or ISIS. Everyone knows that they are well armed, they kill soldiers, they kill police. They overrun villages … in the most inhuman ways."
Kwashi expressed "hope" that an American envoy could stand in a "neutral place" of "authority" and pressure the Nigerian government to protect its people, regardless of religious denomination.
"We need an envoy whose heart and voice will carry the weight necessary to stop the killings," the bishop added. "We are [appealing] to the kind-heartedness of the Americans, the energy, the care, and the concern foro justice."

There only 3 kinds of people supporting Buhari right now.
1. Yoruba muslims who wants to replace Buhari.
2. Islamic fanatics, who wants to further islamatize Nigeria.
3. Sychophants who are feedibg fat on Buharis presidency.
