Babe, you have to be firm, you let lil man know there are rewards/ consequences for any action of his, do not succumb NOW, you have to lay a foundation for how you mean to proceed...

By proceed I mean, Discipline & we discipline to correct & not to punish, We can't have him biting or hitting his classmates or teachers... No bueno.....

Would have posited "Terrible Two" but you mentioned begging him before he stops which is a clear indication that he knows what he is doing & is only testing your limit.... Don't let him take control out of your hands..

Potty training is a pain in the butt but hang in there & continue to gently steer him towards the potty, get him a fancifully designed potty that he'd like to sit on...

As for the chest pain, see a Dr, doesn't sound like pneumonia to me, Pneumonia comes with coughing & Wheezing...

Do an ECG.

**My way (what works for me ) which I'm not prescribing**

You hit me, I hit right back, I won't tell you "i'll beat you <insert name here>, I go ahead & tap his/her butt. You bite me, I'm putting my teeth on your skin too... I'm all for "gentle" use of the rod!! I'm not sparing you unless you are less than 1!

I am not in obodo oyinbo, won't raise obodo oyinbo children!!cool

Let's agree with the anti National interest army that Ben Bruce is making "common sense" now, where has he been prior to mid 2015? He just landed from the moon?

Ben Bruce is posturing as though he is keeping the present day government in check when it is apparent that his sole interest lies in the check (cheque) that accrues to him at the end of every month from the national purse...

We are still waiting for him to open his salary to the public as he has "promised" to do.

You mean fly-by-night 'briefcase-investors' ?

Real sector investors care about an enabling environment, and are less worried about devaluation or not -- they want 'fairly constant variables'.

BTW, hoarders, speculators, racketeers and profiteers are largely to blame for the Naira's current woes, and that includes the banks and the CBN.
It's uncanny that 99% of the time our thoughts are in tandem....

The people shouting the loudest apart from the importers of non essential items are the "stock market" investors who won't invest in tangibles... all their "investments" are on paper, never commodities or human capital.

You are not likely to hear Nestlé beg for devaluation when they know the negative impact that is going to have on their market share & bottomline.

Begging qua? That is totally uncalled for.. undecided

Respect is not given or to be begged for it is earned, so should electoral mandates/ votes be earned by positioning as the ONLY VIABLE option.

PDP should start by transforming (pun intended) the 13 states they have to El dorado or something close to that & they won't need to even campaign!!

However having Ali Modu Haram as Nat Chairman isn't doing them any favours neither is the laughable opposition their media team is doing online. cheesy

Devaluation in the present time will be akin to standing by the roadside beside a car with leaking tire and begging other motorists driving by for help when the sane thing to do is to actually carefully manage it to the nearest vulcanizer's place to be fixed..

“A case has not been convincingly made that the devaluation of our naira in our present circumstance will truly serve Nigeria’s national interest. President Muhammadu Buhari should, in my view, stick to his anti-devaluation position but he should also urgently appoint a team of knowledgeable expert economists to advise him on how to approach Nigeria’s current economic crisis” .

The simple way for that is to stir the next round of oil price fall and it's done.
Pseudo economist, there is a level US can fight ISIS to & then have no choice but to throw in the towel.

The projection of sub 25$ crude price is no longer happening...

Do small research about shale production & the impact of low oil prices & my other points then let's have a robust argument...

amaechi1:
I am tempted to believe that some of our economical woes may be connected to foreign interference.

On who's interest to devalue? Rather than returning our loot stored in different banks in US to develop our economy, the US is pressing for killing the naira.

US come and buy oil from us not devaluation!
Tempted kwa? It's a FACT...

If we are self sufficient, we will no longer be available to boost their economy...

I don't like this overbearing of monarchy in our system of our affairs of government. Yorubas and Hausa-Fulani seem to have strong monarchical system as opposed to SE and SS(minus Edo) that are more republican. We should divide this country along this line!
You do not have to like it, it's alien to you, some don't like the Europeans' monarchy as well, despite itO having zero to do with the general day to day running of the country & implementation of policies....

However, some of us find it curious that anyone with a little change to rub together can buy himself a certain "colour of cap" & then proceed to lord it over other people, no order, no structure in place!!!

There is a reason why there is only one head on a human body... only one heart in human engine room..

Even in the animal kingdom, despite being ferocious wild cats, a pride of lion will always have just one LEADER, i.e The Alpha Male that will serve as a rallying force...

Even in Democracy, we can't have more than one President, Prime minister or Chancellor...... having more than one captain steering a ship leads to nothing but chaos. cool

The National Assembly, comprising the Senate and the House of Representatives, was allocated the equivalent of $600m — higher than Nigeria’s expenditure on its universities, said Mr Onigbinde.

Nigerian lawmakers may be the highest paid in the world, according to BudgIT, which has lobbied lawmakers to release the breakdown of how that money will be spent. It says their annual salary is the equivalent of $150,000 to $190,000, or about 50 times gross domestic product per capita..
471 people allocated more than what accrues to university education funding to themselves & we expect magic to happen in our schools..

10 months in Saraki is still promising to open NASS' budget & expenditure almost on a daily basis with nothing being done & everyone acts like all is Uhuru.

The important part have I extracted for the "non-readers" .... smiley

The ability to risk all for conscience and truth is the life-blood of democracy.
The highlighted being what is lacking in this dear nation of ours... Not only is the truth lacking in the dealings between citizens & their leaders.. people have sold their conscience at the altar of flimsy, instant & ephemeral gratifications.. sad

That is where I am today and that is where we are in Nigeria. In our country many have been locked up, are being demonized and humiliated and are facing trial today, not because they have done anything wrong but because they dare to speak the truth and stand up against the government.
Wrong is relative & subjective, BH members feel they are doing right, it's left for the people at the receiving end or viewing from the other end of the spectrum to agree with that or disagree.

Today I salute their courage and I prepare to join their noble ranks. I refuse to cower in silence as the state prepares to move against me. My innocence will speak for me and my God will fight for me as I have done no wrong.
Clean heart & soul fear no reproach.

President Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Sir Ahmadu Bello and even President Muhammadu Buhari paid a heavy price before getting to the top. It is by the grace of God, and not by any power of their own, that they did not perish whilst going through their respective ordeals. They were all persecuted, detained or jailed at some point or other in their lives.

Yet they all came out of their dungeons to either lead the entire country or their respective regions.
FFK is all over the place, seems the noose is about to be tightened around his neck..
