@Helovesme,

Ehn ehn, make I balance type ya epistle.

Having a future POTUS dream aint bad, nothing wrong with having dreams.

The best you can do is 7-8weeks and that is cutting it quite cloooossseee... Do you know a 36wks baby's lungs are fully developed & if one were to go into labour at that time most drs and hospitals won't try to stop the process, all they'll do is to keep the baby for observarion for a day or so cos the baby will not need any breathing assistance at that GA so which sane airline will airlift you at 37wks let alone @ 38wks ?

Let's now say you do a 37 wks fast one (where you'll get a dr/hospital that late in a non emergent situation is another epistle) & baby comes @ 39wks, won't you get bc? What about tha almighty blue pali that made you take the risk in the 1st place?

The earliest a baby can board a plane is 7days post delivery and I wonder how you can get all docs earlier than 4wks, we aren't even considering the 6wks post natal visit.

@Barcanista,
You've been urging & urging PDP Senate/rep elects to vote againt APC's choice candidates..

Politics › Re: IPMAN Plans To Import Fuel Without Subsidy Payment by modath(f):
According to him, the initiative was developed by the association’s new executives to assist the present administration to reduce cost in subsidy payment at the same time meet products’ demand.
His words: “We urged the Buhari administration to support IPMAN in mobilising our foreign partners in importing petroleum products at no cost or without subsidies payment to government.
”We have done all our mathematics that through our new model of Crude Oil SWAP arrangement; we can wet the country with petrol and kerosene and still gain from the transactions,” Pasali said.
The saying that when the "head is spoilt", it can't ever be well with the body is proven to be dead on the money with this article.

Last week,it was in the news that IPMAN had approached consultants to broker a 600b loan deal with JPMORGANCHASE to build a refinery when they observed that baba isn't disposed to subsidy claims and proposed crude oil swap in his interview, this week its how to save the country money!!!! shocked

Why??When did our people become patriotic, unsefish & nationalistic in their decisions?

How come the marketers never considered crude oil swap & liasing with foreign partners to make subsidy payment less burdensome while the "cheerful giver" was in office.huh

May this country NEVER see the likes of the shoeless clueless wonder ever again.

Pastor Kumuyi is not prophesying he is making a statement of fact.. PMB will not only do a good Job,he will leave a legacy that will be almost difficult to surpass.

Even the clueless wonder knew he was doing & will continue to do a mediocre job and left the stage for him.

Politics › Re: APC Lawmakers-elect Accuse Party Of Fraud-pm by modath(f): 10:45pm On Jun 07, 2015
One just wishes Baba could have ran as an indie candidate cos all this Speaker and Senate president brouhaha is just turning one's belle..

But TANoids should stop rejoicing cos there is no way a PDP member is clinching the seat.

By tuesday one way or the other they would have settled their differences and not allow "hawks" into their chicken coop.

Dogara unlike Lawan or Saraki knows he is not getting that seat,he just wants t make maximum noise,create enough dust so he could be "compensated" with a Juicy committee to chair like Abdulmumin did and is patiently waiting in the wings for.

Politics › Re: APC Senators Backing Saraki Explain Boycott Of Party’s Mock Election by modath(f):
The APC leaders are a funny lot,you don't trust your senators to choose a leader for the senate amongst themselves but Nigerians are supposed to trust them to enact laws that will impact their lives and wellbeing.... Issokay!!

I hope they realise they rode into power on the wings of CHANGE and that PDP's implosion didn't just happen in one day,its practises like this nonsense that precipitated it,who will participate in an open ballot &allow him/herself be a lame duck for victimimisation huh

At the same time;
What's wrong with open ballot if the Saraki faction were really sincere? undecided

Politics › Re: Cabinet: Buhari Keeps APC Leaders Guessing- Daily Trust by modath(f): 7:24am On Jun 07, 2015
The APC leaders can go suck lemons for all I care, do they think its the party that people voted for huh, we voted PMB !! And I pray he rejects every attempt to sneak in political jobbers with no real knowledge or Zeal....

If they've collected money from people with the promise to find the places in the cabinet for them, they had better return it quickly.

Nigerian trust Buhari to choose the right people to work with him and not use the fate of the nation as "consolation prizes" for politicians who lost elective positions.

Remove Baba & fashola from that party and the rest can go kick rocks!!

Politics of bitterness is the real bane of our society, if Wike & Amaechi were to be in the same camp, the fact that the collaborator pulled out would have been the real topic of discussion not viability of a rail project in a large cosmopolitan city....

Wike is still very busy chasing Amaechi's shadow, the real biz of governance can wait.
Politics › Re: El-rufai Bans Fertilizer Allocation To Traditional Rulers, Politicians, Others by modath(f):
Ikengawo:
this is great. but if you consider that 11 year old girls in that part of the world are being impregnated as we speak, what will fertilizer do? If a girl starts having children at 11, by 20 the girl can have 9 children, and you know these people, who have chosen to live and breed like animals, won't be using protection. So as rape is now legal and will be proliferated by the people (northerners) that only believe in the islam of pedophilia politics and rap3, the level of hopelessness this creates will not be remedied by fertilizer.
I'm sorry El Rufai but forget about fertilizer. You have a population that won't work, won't educate, and constantly breed young girls like cattle to produces unproductive kids they can't feed. Why not get to the real issues as opposed to trivialities. Why not pull the weeds instead of clipping their leaves. People will be angry, but honestly the north is extremely hopeless because even the progressive leaders think the place is becoming poorer (-2 economic growth annually, faster growing population in west africa) by the day because of bad policies instead of a dead and counter productive anti human culture. Like it or not, in 40 years the north will look worst than it does today. What will he do in Kaduna that won't be destroyed in next summers religious blood bath?
^^^

You would have made sense if you had not let the usual saTANist's bitterness becloud your judgement & not taken it beyond "this is great" opener....

What relationship exists between direct sale of fertilizer to farmers & underage girl marriage, even going as far as to label Hausa/Fulani as animals huh? ...

If not for pdp's loss messing with you people's physical & psychological wellbeing you'd have had enough wisdom to not criticise a useless law that was championed by a majority senate of PDP goats..

Its obvious you lots are never going to see anything positive in any APC led govt and fortunately or unfortunately your bellyaching is like crickets chirping in the dark...

Continue to wallow in your hate!! undecided

Seem you have all the information you need, so why did you ask? VAT is not the same as sales tax though. Like i said, they do refund in some states. I know I asked in Elpaso last year and I was directed on how to go about it, but was just too complicated and wasn't worth it for me. And I've asked in New York before, they said no.

All the best.
I really don't like to do stuff like this but you know ;

1.I didn't ask the original question.

2.I threw up the question to the main floor cos from my experience going by the two states I've been to in the US, they don't do refunds. (The uk refund is easy and straightfoward.)

3.The question was asked based on taxation on purchase of goods. You introduced NY & VAT into the discuss and directed me to google which threw up the fact that new york does indeed tax purchases.

I do know the difference between Sales tax and VAT.

All the best.

PMB is not here for this nonesense, he has a job to do and "witch hunting" wike now is not one of them.. There is no sanity in a sole probe of wike's tenure as minister of state.

Rivers APC is according Wike more than necessary attention.. There is no way in this world that that Wike wouldn't go down for something, if he escapes the "natural" probe of all ministries and MDAs, the rivers election drama is waiting for him..

Okay, it was Gtbank that blocked their card from been used at WalMart. You can try Stanbic card, it should be $0 - $1000 would cost $0.5; I have forgotten though. Try $1000 and if it didn't go then you can try $300, you would be charged less than a dollar.
What the lady said is that their "menene" (machine/terminal/whatever) didn't recognise the chip on her card! & this is the card she has been using for POS/Online/ATM tnx!!

Please kindly share how you process your returns in UK.
Thanks
Uk taxes are built into your purchases, when you buy things (kids stuff not included)you request the merchant gives you a tax refund form & the amount due to you as non EU resident/member is calculated &clearly stated on the form. On your way out, you show them @ the tax refund point & they give you what the form states. That's all.
