APC Crisis: Victor Giadom declares self acting national chairman
Victor Giadom has dismissed as “laughable” his suspension from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the inauguration of Worgu Boms as the new deputy Deputy National Secretary of the party, saying he remains the party’s interim national chairman.

Speaking with journalists at the party’s national secretariat shortly after a protest by some people on Monday, Mr Giadom said the inauguration of Mr Bom breached the party’s constitution.

“That is laughable. I’m sure you know that I was elected at the convention, and as I have told Nigerians, that level of impunity and rascality must be corrected.

“You cannot smuggle someone into the National Working Committee without an election. Anybody who wants to be a member of the National Working Committee should present his or herself for a democratic election. You cannot just bring somebody from anywhere to fill any office in the National Working Committee,” he said.

Mr Giadom took the centre stage in the drama at the NWC of the party when he declared himself the acting national chairman on Wednesday following the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole by the Court of Appeal.

Mr Giadom said his declaration was based on the judgement of an Abuja High Court in March.

The party’s spokesperson, Lanre Issa-Onilu, had on Tuesday announced the appointment of the deputy national chairman (South), Abiola Ajimobi, as the interim chairman of the party after Mr Oshiomhole’s suspension.

Mr Giadom on Monday called for a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party as the panacea to the crisis ravaging the party.

“There is no other way to solve the crisis than to call a NEC meeting. That has been my decision,” he said.

Congrats to Ize-Iyamu. He's gradually getting closer to his dreams - provided his demonic enemies don't truncate it.
The exact plan fell in place very well - Ize-Iyamu and/or Odubu in 1st and 2nd place in any order, this was always the plan so that 1 of them gets there or if he falls out, the other goes ahead...and it worked excellently well.

Incase u are not aware, the NWC has the sole responsibility of this function . Inec cannot accept any candidate not submitted by the party national chairman.

The APC Constitution states that it's the state exco that has d mandate to choose mode of Primaries...but u fortunately the NWC under Oshiomhole usurped their functions....so the courts wud need to interpret whose mode is authentic.

Article 13.4 (XIV) which unequivocally states that NWC shall ”Organise Primary Election for the nomination of its Presidential Candidates, Governorship Candidates and Candidates for election into the National and State Assemblies. Check it out.

Ask Ojezua who are the contestants he wants to preside primaries on, he will mention that 3 credits, treacherous and confused Obasek who is already in PDP.

He wants to play the role of undertaker but unfortunately, Obasek doesn't want to risk anything so left him hanging to his fate.

The case is not litigable because Ojezua is not a candidate and can't contest the process.

But he is d authentic Chairman so anything he says goes.

Nigerian lazy youth. The letter was stamped received TODAY JUNE 22, this is at about 11am . This is a letter backdated or claimed to have been written on Thursday 18th of June to stop a primary election of June 22 scheduled to commence by 8a.m. You can only postpone what you planned. The postponed date must fall within INEC timetable. You can only have legal basis when there is a parallel primary which produced another candidate. Any letter sent to Secretariat would be stamped received, the response depends on the feasibility of the request.

Bureaucracy might have delayed d signing it's only d courier company that can give d accurate dates.
