Christianity EtcRe: Chris Okotie With Armed Guards In Church (Picture) by modestdude(m): 8:51pm On Dec 11, 2013
NO LONG TIN: @op, I see no gun in that pix. You probably based d topic on an assumption - because they are dressed like that therefore they are with guns.

Anyway, I think these men should be sent to guard pastors in the North, they would be very useful because right now BH just they attack without fear.

To those critiquing Pastor Chris, would you do the same if his church was located in the North? If NO, then you aren't thinking/critiquing objectively.
You are blind. Cant you see the pistol holster strapped to the waist line of the one @ the middle? Give it a second look. Anyway, am not God to judge anyone, so lets send this thread to where it belongs (dustbin)

We are living in the time in which the evil that men do lives with them. in a similiar act to that of the NSCDC Lagos Boss, The 'Go and Die' Tee shirt has gone viral in the market. Trust Nigerians as we are yet to hear the last of this 'Go and die' episode.

PoliticsRe: Has Any APC Controlled State Universities Pulled Out From The Strike? by modestdude(op): 3:57pm On Dec 05, 2013
omenka: Is there any criticism or mass action, or industrial action in the life of this administration which it didnt attribute to the opposition?? The govt is bereft of ideas on how to govern the people hence its consistent act of taking refuge in the court of gullible nigerians by blaming the oposition. Problem is we have millions of your type out there and it is advantageous to the govt to ensure people like you dont get any wiser, and this they do by giving you guys the worst quality of education money can buy.
The opposition may have invited this by promising to make this government ungovernable. Problem is here in Nigeria, we don't know how to lead and we don't know how to follow. We don't know what is leadership and what is opposition and how the later forms a catalyst for accountability in governance.

Anyway thanks @the 2nd bolded statement
PoliticsRe: Has Any APC Controlled State Universities Pulled Out From The Strike? by modestdude(op): 3:41pm On Dec 05, 2013
JulianBond007: I see no need for the thread then since you believe APC has a hand in the strike. What you should be bothered right now is for FG to fulfil its own obligation and let ASUU call off the strike. Am sure you're affected by the strike too.
am an open minded fella dear, and as such i look at things from an objective point of view. An igbo proverb says ata tu ukwa, ata tu aki (let's eat the breadfruit and also bite the coconut/kernel). Agreed FG reneged on the 2009 agreement with ASUU and there is no justifiable reason to have done such. However, am of the opinion that ASUU should have used a constant reminder mechanism to continuously deny the govt of sleep and always drum the agreement into the ears of the Government (that is perseverance). Rather than only running to their tool, which is inimical both to the teeming population of students and to educational development as a whole. The only time Nigerians hear about ASUU is only during warning strikes and full blown strikes. what happened to going on media forum periodically?

Am not directly affected by the strike if thats what you mean, am an XY*5. But however am affected indirectly coz i have younger ones in the Unis

JulianBond007: Does it matter if its a state or federal university? Smh

Ok I am first to comment. Where's my gift? huh
it matters dear, OAU is a Federal University and not a State controlled institution. The state govt has no undue influence over it.

JulianBond007: OAU Ile Ife is resuming on the 8th of this month. Didn't you see the thread about it on front page?
Uniport denies pulling out of strike. Did you hear about that too?
is OAU Ile-Ife a State University? you want to be FTC....anyway congrats bro/sis grin
PoliticsHas Any APC Controlled State Universities Pulled Out From The Strike? by modestdude(op): 2:20pm On Dec 05, 2013
I have not given a thought over FG's claim that ASUU strike is political, not until recent happenings surrounding the divisiveness of ASUU membership became public. so i ask, if FG's claim is a foul cry, why hasn't any of the Opposition controlled state universities announced resumption date for their academic and allied activities or is APC's opposition all about being against everything pro-Jonathan/PDP?
Yet Petroleum Industry Bill has not been talked about.. grin

Now Nigerians would be busy debating this matter as if it matters.. grin Only 1 Nigerians out of 160 million People can ever be president. That bill affects only one.. The PIB that affects hundreds of Thousands of Nigerians has been in the house of over 8 - 10 years, been watered down so much now that it has lost over 70% of its original content and still they cant pass the bill.

Meanwhile a bill like anti-gay rights which really does not affect the price of Garri or anyother thing was passed in under 2 weeks (from first hearing to public forum to passing the bill). grin
who told you Gay right bill is not going to affect the price of garri? Garri price will skyrocket as a result of increased demand coz boys will now be going to market to buy foodstuffs to cook for their boyfriends grin

This generation of parents, leaders and elders should know that we are disappointed in them and God knows that and as such we dont give a fly anymore.

They have made the wrong choices for us
They have influenced us wrongly
They have bequeathed hatred & tribalism to us
They have passed corruption into our blood stream

We still respect and honour them only because God has asked us to continuosly do so. But we have to bear it @ the back of our mind that they dont mean well for us.
If not, how can you justify iheanachor Snr's choice of Chelsea and Man city for a budding talent like his son? This is born out of greediness

odua son: How can anambra be islamized by Apc,what sort of moronic thinking is this
you are the one being moronic in thinking. Apc govt is capable of doing so, by declaring public holiday on islamic new year day in Anambra, just like Aregberascal did in Osun which was followed this year by kwankwaso. They are also capable of turning Anambra schools (private, public and mission) into a free for hijab wearing schools... I need not to continue mentioning ur party's islamic hidden agenda. All it takes now is an APC fed govt for Naija to practice a full blown islamic banking and become a full blown islamic country. APC govt is capable of rewriting our national anthem to include lines like Allahu akbar. I may not be wrong to assert that al queda is secretly funding this party. Just like Muslim brotherhood, APC will crash. You dont mix politics with religion. Chikena
