Am not sure if you will be able to understand these things am gonna be telling you,but I hope you do and at least I have done my part in trying to help you. About good and evil, the truth is that Christianity has painted unreal things real especially in the aspect of good and evil, they believe good things are from God why evils are from satan. They tell people the world created by God is innocuous, that's why they run from pastors to pastors in the name of solving problems, this is not leaving Muslims that shamelessly run from Alfas to Alfas to help them solve thier problems. Evil and suffering exist to test mankind's faith Suffering is a part of this life, but if we prove worthy, there will be no suffering in the next.We Muslims believe that goods and evils are from God, their are things we humans consider evils but they are not evils, intact they are good for us in the long run. The Quran says... "And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to as-sabirun (the patient ones)." [Al-Qur'an 2:155] also, regarding the point, why Allah does put anyone in pain, Allah says in Quran: and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.' (Surah Baqarah: 216) “The life of a believer is truly amazing. Everything that happens to him is good. This is only true for a believer and none else. If something pleasant happens to him, he is thankful and that is good for him. If something bad afflicts him, he is patient and that is also good for him.” (Muslim) Affliction is part of the test of life. If God were to interfere and prevent every bad thing from happening to each individual, it would be like taking the test away from a student. Saying that the bad that exists in the world is necessary does not mean that it is justified or praiseworthy . Believers are always commanded to enjoin the good and forbid the evil, which is another test in itself. Being able to see the big picture often affects how we perceive what is good and bad. Someone with little foresight may claim that the injection of a vaccine into a patient, which contains traces of disease, is a bad thing while the injection of heroin, which leads to euphoria, is a good thing. Not being able to understand that the vaccine will help develop immunity to that disease or that taking heroin will develop into a drug addiction is due to a lack of medical knowledge and experience. God said: “We sent messengers before you [Prophet] to many communities and afflicted their people with suffering and hardships, so that they might learn humility. If only they had learned humility when suffering came from Us! But no, their hearts became hard…” Qur’ān 6:42-43 God said: “Do people think they will be left alone after saying, ‘We believe’ without being put to the test? We tested those who went before them: God will certainly mark out which ones are truthful and which are lying.” Qur’ān 29:2-3 Upon analysis, we realize that the Prophets, who are the highest in rank in the sight of God, faced the most difficult tests of all people. Clearly, merit must be earned. It should be patently clear that the inability to see the wisdom behind something should not be a cause of criticizing that thing. Of course, the final analysis concerning all of this is: God knows best. This is just like a child being beaten by the parent, to the child, what the parent is doing is painful, evil and wicked, but to the parent, what they are doing is best for the child, intact it shows they are good parent. Remember our brain when we were in our mothers belly, our brain when we were very little, and our brain now, also a time is coming that our brain will start diminishing, what am trying to tell here is that their was a time when we were little that we do some things and perceive them to be right but now we recall and say ""ohh, I was soo stupid then"",this is the same as that there are some things that we may not just understand and be able to reason out now,one of it may be why must evils happen to us,how can God be somewhere watching all of us in this universe,Nigeria, America,Britain etc,so large a place, how can God watch all of us,etc..Imagine what would have happened if our brain grows 10times in it current speed and in multiples for 1000years, imagine how we will look at today and be like """ohh I was stupid then"" No body should quote me except op, thanks |

Asalamualeikum warahmatullahi wabarakat Beautiful recitation of the holy Quran has a lot to do with breath control. When we listen to Qarri Abdul basit, Qarri All minshary, etc, most of us fancy how they were able to control their breath and respond to the rules of waqf(stopping) in the holy Quran which adds to the beauty of their recitation. Lung strengthening exercises, muscle tightening exercises are very good for the upper body and are particularly good for the lungs, these exercises strengthens the muscle that aid in breathing and thus can help one to control breaths during Quran recitation Water based exercises, aerobics and cardiovascular exercises can help in lung strengthning, these exercises below are examples of them 1) Swimming and other water based exercises are one of the best exercises to improve the lung capacity, water work outs lead the body to work harder because water act as a source of resistance.Doing strength training like weight lifting inside water, doing stretches will help in improving the lungs breathing capacity 2)Cardio vascular exercises- some of the best cardio exercises are running and jogging, the basic fundamental here lies in the fact that when a person get tired doing a fast and brisk work out, his lung has to work harder, thus enhances its capacity 3) Breathing exercises has been noted to help in breath control during recitation, these include; A) Pushing out Pushing out is a super power breathing exercise that would give your lungs an increased capacity to absorb oxygen. 1. Take an upright posture and loosen your knees. 2. Now bend down as you push out all the air from your lungs. 3. Get back to the standing position, breathing in the air. 4. Now fill your lungs with as much air as possible and hold your breath as long as you can. 5. Next, extend your arm over your head and lower back to the starting position while exhaling. Perform this exercise 4 times daily. B)Abdominal breathing This is a simple exercise where you need to lie down on the back with one hand on the abdomen and the other on the chest. 1. Now breathe in through the nose, hold your breath and exhale through the mouth. 2. Try and squeeze your abdominal muscle in the end, so as to remove any residual air from your lungs. 3. A slight variation of this exercise is the Diaphragmatic breathing, where you lie on your backs with your legs elevated and a pillow beneath. This breathing technique helps increase lung capacity and with time,we will be able to hold more of our breaths C)Numbered breath 1. Take a deep breath and close your eyes. 2. Exhale in such a manner that your lungs get empty. 3. Now inhale again and think of number 1 as you concentrate on breathing. 4. Hold your breath for a couple of seconds and exhale. Then inhale and breathe out within 3 seconds. 5. Continue with this exercise . This will surely enhance the lung capacity. مع السلام |
Asalamualeikum warahmahtullahu wabarakat A strong beautiful and clear voice during Quran recitation is one thing a lot of Muslims admire and wish to have especially when Bukhari and Muslim reported from the hadith of Abu Hurayrah(may Allah be pleased with him) that "" Allah does not listen to anything (more approvingly) as he listens to prophet reciting loudly the Quran in a sweet voice, Al Hakim also reported from the hadith of All Bara Ibn Azib that the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said : Beautify the Quran with your voices, for sweet voice increases the beauty of the Quran How to improve your voice during recitation; 1)Recite the Quran from time to time 2) Try as much as possible to apply the rules of tajweed during recitation 3)Drink lots of water to keep your vocal cord moist 4)Drink hot teas such as green tea or lemon tea to help fight against mucus 5) Once in a day, gargle salt water 6)Take foods rich in Vitamins so that you will be able to coat your throat with proper nutrients to help strengthen your throat, you can as well take vitamin supplements 7)maintain good oral hygiene Avoid smoking and pollutants entering your system 9)Exercise: Some exercises have been proven to strengthen the voice, breathing exercises help to strengthen the lung and thus enable one to hold and control breath when reciting the Quran 10) Avoid hard drugs, alcohol, they all destroy the vocal cord 11)A cup of warm peppermint tea with two teaspoonfuls of liquid honey has been said to sooth the vocal cords and make the voice mellifluous |

Vanceastro:you acted like they were true with your responses on the thread |
ifyalways:Thanks ma'am, but you fail to understand the guy, I don't believe he's lieng about him being depressed, infact with the thread I read,I have a stronger believe that he may be truly depressed. If anyone can stoop so low and be begging people for money on line, I actually see all of them having mental health problem, and for him scamming people all around begging for money, Its something very disgracing ma'am and I believe only mentally illed people could do such. That's why in most advanced prisons, psychologists, psychotherapists are all there helping the prisoners because they know that they have a mental problem. As for you vacenstro, you really need help if the allegations are true, pls try and visit a psychotherapist closest to you because you are becoming mad, may God not let your problem lead to schizophrenia and the likes, I will keep on praying for you.And please don't forget to pray for yourself. People need to know that depressed people could commit suicide because their lives make no meaning to them, surely they can hurt others without blinking and that's why am believing partly that vacenstro may truly scam others,Robb them of their money to prepare for the great day they will finally end their lives. These people need help |

I ain't a fan of y'all, so please stop quoting me, I was just surprise that such thread is in existence, so my guess is that most of them will be UNILAGs student's because other local Mssn will just admit that Nairaland is haram. And due to the fact that I know that Unilags mssn are not dull, they are sharp due to exposure than other mssn that are local, boring, and hide it under Islam. That's my point |
[quote author=AbdelKabir post=53049028]whats your mission here?! and what if they are unilag mssn members?
