What you failed to consider is that most auto makers try to satisfy consumers with some basic criteria on a scale of preference ish. For a Benz, luxury first. For a BMW, driving dynamics first.

And this scale.of.preference trickles down into all the products they make. So auto heads will tell you anytime anyday that you buy a Merc for the luxury and a BMW for its.driving thrill.

That's one of the reasons why BMW will always be second to Benz in luxury and that's also why AMGs will always be second to M series in driving dynamics and handling.

So when they say you ride a Merc and drive a BMW, that's what they essentially mean. It's just the way it is bro

Concise but still got me wondering why BMW won the grand prix just once and BENZ 76 times. No matter what you desire, benz has got you. You want Economy... Benz got you on the i4 kompressor (BMW is yet to clap back on this), u want performance... They got you on varying scales Avant Garde, AMG, BLACK SERIES, U want luxury... They got u on varieties too, classic, S series, Maybach, you want off road... They got you on that too. I catch your drift tho.

Interesting discussion. Benz has class and all that but I still prefer american cars; chargers and challengers, any day. There's nothing like the sound of a Hemi v8 engine, and I'm not talking about the speed (that pushes you into the seat) then puts a huge smile on your face.

I've driven all 3and none of the other two combines, luxury, performance and aesthetics like Benz. Benz knows how to find a balance in between all that. Audi is to bland on aesthetic and Interior, only selling point right now is their Quatro, BMW mostly is on the performance side and forget consumers sometimes wanna feel cocooned, too low profile for Naija roads. I see they started changing that their boring yellow backlight.

The other effect you'd have, is some noticeable rise in tour car's noise levels, beyond the set decibels.

As regards if another one can be improvised in its place, sure, that can be done.

What you just need to factor into the while thing, is to ensure the dimensions of any replaced one, matches the tailpipes, and you're done.

Catalytic converter doesn't improve fuel economy, matter of fact... It's the other way round cos it causes back pressure which impedes performance. Your car breaths freely and performs better with cats removed, you get more horses but might lose some insignificant amount of torque. There are facts littered on the Web with enthusiasts confirming their hypothesis with car Dyno.

This is also true, water is palm trees bane. Palm tries are composed of fibre which tends to degrade once exposed to water, that explains why the outer shell is toughest and nearly water proof. If you're going to roof with it, dry season is the best to do so.

Palm tree is good and long lasting, but it easily gives way for nail , don't hold on to nail in for long time, especially storm prone area, you will loose your roof easily to storm.

And its also very difficult to achieve roofing neatness compare to wooden .

I agree with you on the neatness but not totally on the part with holding on to nails, the ones that don't hold on to nails are those that has been tapped for Palm wine, if you're using palm tree for roofing, make sure it's the untapped one. Trust me, your carpenters will stop work midway and renegotiate the fee.

If you're performance biased, get the C350, if not get the C300. C350 is harder to find compared to the C300, and mostly seen in RWD guise. And of course, the C350 is a bit more expensive.

In addition @ OP, there are 4 class of the W204 but only two is relevant in this discussion which is the C300 and C350, the c300 are divided into two which is the luxury and avant-garde (sport) class. The luxury has the conventional mercedes benz front grill and star emblem protruding at the far end of the hood, mostly soft brown leather interior with wood finish, soft absorbers and adaptive steerwheel to give you that cocoon feel.

The avant-garde on the other hand has a 3 thick line grill with the star emblem smacked right in the center and the mercedes benz coin size logo rammed down at the fore front of the hood instead of protruding, harsher wheel setup for interactive road feel and very responsive steerwheel, all black leather interior with carbon fiber and wood finish, sporty exhaust system to go with too.

If you want power and performance, go for the C63 AMG NA and if you're a petrol head, get the C63 AMG NA black series.
