In an effort to trend, the OP has not looked at the picture to check properly before posting. Sorry to burst your bubble but that aircraft in the picture is a commercial plane owned by Air Peace. If you look closely at the picture, you will see the word "Hopper" on the side of the aircraft which is written on the sides of smaller aircraft like this owned by this airline. Also look out for the blue stripes on the aircraft which are also part of the airline colours. I have flown in these types of planes before so please the picture used doesn't cut it.

atiku4President:

Obasanjo did his best as a Nigerian President, not this bigot we have in Aso Rock now. No leader is perfect, but Buhari is nowhere an example of a leader. Obasanjo was not a tribalist. We had Okonjo, Soludo, El Rufai and co calling the shots. Today we have only Fulanis in power.

Which best did he do? A farmer who did not promote agriculture. He failed to fund our universities bit established one with his vice. Spent so much on power without result nor prosecution. No road infrastructure, even the one to his farm was in a shameful state. No railway system built. Our refineries were not working and for 8 years no single foundation for a new one laid. He wanted to leave after third term failure and imposed a dying man on us with a man he will later called incompetent as vice. Abeg the man doesn't have the moral right to talk again in this country.

Madam check the results in these two links:

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/285736-osundecides2018-inec-results-from-local-govts.html (announced at the respective collation center)

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/285831-osundecides2018-inec-formally-announces-results-live-updates.html (announced at the INEC headquarters)

You'll see the discrepancy. 1000 votes was removed from PDP. So don't come at me, like I don't know what I'm saying.

That's why they say we should wait for INEC.

Fire happened at Akinrinlo Street, Bajulaiye. Started around 4.50pm. Emergency line 112 was called and it was picked immediately. They promised to get the Fire service notified. They came in with about three trucks 35 minutes later but the the first floor of the stores building had been razed. No life was lost. I don't want to say anything about the late arrival of the fire truck but believed that each local government area should have at least a fire truck on their premises. If there had been a fire truck in Shomolu local government they would have got to the incident in less than 10minutes. The resident of the area did a wonderful job in curtailing the fire to only the floor.

Can you just for the sake of information list out those power plants being constructed and their capacity. this will enable us to know how much we will have on completion and attributes its success to GEJ.

Actually apart from you last statement, your post made most sense to me. Apart from religion that preaches forgiveness can't we just take a step to find out what made h do it. It might turn out that we were lacking at some aspect. Yes she doesn't have to sleep with a man to tell us but we might also be the non-listening guy. If her reason or excuse exonerate the guy then we can apply religion through the Lord's prayer, forgiving so as to be forgiven. Know it is hard and pray not to encounter such heart splitting case.

Politics / Re: Lagos: Mega City Or Mega Madness? by modupea: 12:17pm On Jan 21, 2013
thoth:
I lived in china for several years and one of the town planning doctrines was the goverment always provides a piece of land that serves as a market for each community, each community is a walkable distance from the next. If the goverment has provided goverment owned space for community markets you will not see the chicken sellers there. I would like to enquire further as those traders were chased away were they provided alternative space ? Ofcourse Not,and what do you expect them to do with their chickens ? And where would the residents buy their chickens ? Probably out of town where the chicken traders ran to OR to the big superstores like Shoprite(no bargaining allowed) etc which is probably owned by those elites. Think very well each community always have a small market that services its residents,no one put it there but it starts up naturally cus that is what it should be and town planners(professional ones) put that into their calculation but just like a socialist i use to know once said " Elitist could not be reasonable, it ceases to exist once it does".
The thugs that deficate will always deficate whether it is an open space or a garden and that is a matter civility and discipline and not necessarily as a result of the presence of the traders.

Hey bros, I don't agree with you on this. I live in that locality and I bear witness to what he said. There is a market nearby called Alade Market and there then was Chicken seller stalls. But these people moved there wares to the bus stop area because there was no rule of law. They are back to where they belong. Another example, on Carter bridge at the Lagos Island end, some years ago I dare not drive through that area because of people displaying their wares. For your information, larger percentage of them have shops inside the market but now, though there is still street trading, I go through the road to my workplace. It even reduces pressure on third mainland bridge. The government must act sometimes harshly to get things done. There are too many people in Lagos. Everyone wants to get to Lagos. Maybe there should be an head count based on the state of origin then the states should start paying some percentage of their allocation to Lagos to take care of their citizens.

Comin to club side, wat has ronaldo been playin recently dat d team is in caos. So many players hav played 4 baca wit dat same tradition and couldnt acheive wat messi is acheivin. A great player is a great player any where. Messi hav prove dat nationaly and clubwise. Put dis to ur brain. Wen we say ronaldo we compare him wit messi. I actually don't like putting up comment but same way I don't like people being too sentimental. Messi played Copa behind his house, how many goals did he scored and at what stage did Argentina left the competition.

The number on CR's boot is to celebrate what was achieved last year. If Messi is to try same, there will be four numbers; the number of game he played fo Argentina and goals, then his overall number of games and goals. There will be no number 1.

Yes, Messi is a very talented player. Good balance, run with the ball, dribble while running and lately scoring with his weak leg and head. But let us look back at him in Barcelona. Last 3 seasons he had been able to score so many goals because the system favors him where everyone plays for him. For example last season, he scored over 60 goals while the next person in his team scored 14. That is why no striker no matter how good he was before joining Barcelona will make way for him. Ask Villa, Ibrahimovic and Sachez. All these records are good but why don't we ask what about with his National team. He had played 2 World cups and as many Copa but he could not deliver.

Actually, I might have one or two issues about this marriage but I will not like to discuss that.

What bothers me is the way people think and accept things just like that. I have read so many post calling some men, "Men of God" and I wonder why. Somebody wakes up one morning and tell us that he has been called by God and in similar vein, his wife eavedrop to the calling and she woke up to the call.

This is what is really the problem as I can wake up tomorrow a man of God saying I have been called and from then I will be called Daddy GO, because my callings doesn't mean I should go to an existing church but start my own and my wife will be called Mummy GO. Later if I am involved in a controversy, I will read and hear people saying don't talk about a man of God like that or touch not my anointing.

May God forgive us and let us know the truth to set us free and may He give us knowledge to read His words and understands it more.
