Some people will fund before interview and get visa in no time, while some will fund before interview and wait ages before they get it or not even get it. Some will even get AM without funding!! After AM, some will get their passport back the next day, other might wait months!

THIS WAKKA IS PER HEAD O...EVEN FROM APPLICATION DOWN TO VISA PROCESS.

So, please let us not label anyone's wakka as false but also, when describing your own experience about a place, try not to generalise it. Bavaria is bad for you, doesn't mean its not chilling for another person. Experiences in places are relative to individuals.

In fact you have enough time but still be fast about it. Also, take a look at when the school is planning to make admission decisions and when its enrolment deadline is. Some schools are funny. They will say application deadline is January 15 and they want to start school April 1. Abeg, when them wan make decisions? So try not to fall into that trap. Let there be a massive time difference between when admission decisions will be made and when they will start school so you have enough time to apply for visa. That is my advice. Also, pick schools with easy application processes cos when I see some people talk about their schools application process, I am just wondering why the stress. Goodluck to you!

I started this Journey August 2017, Got admission November 2017, had to postpone and cancel cos to run the family business.

I resumed August 2018, retained the admission November 2018, had my interview on the 1st of February and AM dropped 1st of March.

I graduated from Babcock and came in to 200l through direct entry (Alevel). I don't know the particular units needed but all i did was to take my normal courses from 200l till 400l and i graduated fine....if this helps sha

I did my interview Dec 28 and I am yet to get AM. This is the 7th week now. I have emailed the embassy 3 times- no response, called the foreign office in my city and they referred me to the embassy. I used blocked account and funded before my interview. Pls who has any idea of what might be happening??

It's frustrating

One scope a friend of mine said he did was that he mailed the embassy saying he needed a response soon because he also wants to use his passport at the u.s consulate soon (he had been to the u.s and Canada in the past). They replied him soon enough with his A.M.

Be safe and go with 3-4. When Oga paulinus arranyge your documents, he will ask for it, then the v.o might still ask for another as was my case. Apparently, oga paulie put the 2nd one in my passport and the v.o didn't see it. So if I had gone with 2, there might have been confusion but I went with 8 so i was safe.

For the arrangement, it's not specific. Most time it is how he feels like I believe cos the way I was asked to arrange was different from another guy. The little I could take is: he will ask you to arrange it in 3 sets for each document (original photocopy photocopy). Also, the first document he will ask for are your appointment letter and 2 visa application form and passpoŕt. The documents will be arranged face down. Just arrange your documents according to the checklist, cram the checklist arrangement, so when he calls for a particular item, you can easily tell where it will be among your documents in your folder.

Is it normal for the embassy to give you back your passport after the interview??

So, I landed in Lagos on Thursday night. Stayed in integrity homes for 14k...rude reception as if we begged to stay in the hotel. Did a lot of document sorting (I have been sorting documents for over 2 weeks now cos of Uncle Paulie....I cross checked and re-read infos about my school course Germany and Berlin. It was quite overwhelming.

Sha, got to the embassy around 5:30, forgot I had printed out my appointment letter o, I sha did that. Those people wanted to take 3k for one colored print out. Ah them be scam o. Sha paid 2k. The 2k had to come out from my Visa money. I still believed I was okay as I had 30k with me. Sha, me and my uncle went to Germanys embassy area o, my mind sha told me to ask how much be visa fee now, one security man sha told me 34k. Omo, I panic. those mopo people and bro paulinus started harassing me and my uncle, oga paulie even asked them to take note of me if I come back late cos I left to go and withdraw. Sha, I got the 4k plus around 6:20 and i was still the first person apart from one girl who is prolly there for another visa reason. Sha, oga paulie sha started his usual. Calling out documents and how to arrange them, abusing me for not doing it well. sha making me panic. But he never sent me back o. The man favored me. When he now even sent another guy back, I knew it was favor cos he had corrected me more than that guy. Sha, went in and was the first to be interviewed

Please don't panic o, you might naturally do but calm down, be slow when answering questions so she can type, listen to brother paulie carefully when arranging documents to avoid yabs and watch how he places your documents. Be the first to get there. So go very early. It helps. Cos when paulie starts with you on document arrangement, he won't be able to send you back Especially if you are the only student visa applicant at that moment. By the time 3 people came, I was already far with my arrangement and I had understood what he expected so there were fewer mistakes and he couldn't send me back

I believe I have gotten the Visa already. I speak in faith.

2nd part: u are meant to fill the form with pen.

Please does of that funded our blocked accounts using Form A, how long did it take? This is the third working day since i submitted my form and docs to the bank and my account is yet to be deducted.

Well...5 working days and above. Mine almost went for 2 weeks. Depends on the banker doing it for you.
