heybaby12: So I will talk about my area (out of experience) I am in Mittweida, one small village so we under freiberg, once you have your required documents you book an appointment. It takes 2 to 4 weeks to hear back from them after you have gone with your documents on the said appointmrnt day.you book another appointment to go and pick your resident permit you are given two years ( I was given 18 months because of my passport.) But it's not a problem renewing here is easy, you don't need to block again. A Nigerian renewed with €3k in his account while a Ghanaian did with €500. All got two more years and they are almost done with their studies just their thesis left. Hope i have answered your question. Hey bro, do you have any idea about Berlins own renewal? I know it's not your city but I was hoping you might have some info |

For those of you using form A, I have used form A twice. 1 to pay my tuition, and secondly to fund my blocked account. They might say the exchange rate is a particular amount but by the time you are debited, it might be 10-20k more. Be careful o. The bank charges with Form A can be outrageous. Don't travel to another state just to use a cheap exchange rate form A only to be dissapointed by the time the blocked amount and bank charges are removed.
From what I noticed, the person doing the form A transaction for you in the bank has an higher authority he talks to that do the transaction. So don't take the normal off the counter bank agents word o. There is more to form A. Jejeli use Aboki and fund domiciliary account. My advice |

Samrubby1: Chaaaiii...naso my own take be..so no want to help me out in accommodation? No Nigerian or even Ghanaian...pls this is scary...so no one has ventured there before? Pls someone who has past experience in University of greifwald Guy...go there, you can definitely make it. You don't need people to be there. In this life, if you think people will help you, you will be disappointed. Everyone is only concerned about their hustle the most. So don't put your chance of success on whether people are there or not okay. Just do what you have to do to succeed and you will. |

Mystique20: "lose admission"? One you haven't even gotten and CANNOT be certain that you'd get? So you'd rather have someone already admitted miss a date because it's "survival of the fittest" way to go! It's a wonder anyone is surprised that we are still treated like savages by the western world. That the option to book online was made without requesting for the applicants admission letter is because you're EXPECTED to be REASONABLE and already have a resumption date, you can't clog a system because of a "maybe" case in point; I got admitted in December for a program in March, couldn't get a date until February, now people are getting dates in December because bookings are being Canceled If only people with admissions were making bookings, the whole back and forth wouldn't be. if you still don't see the problem with this, then there's nothing I can do for you, selah! I agree with this. It's the survival of the fittest attitude that has made this nation what it currently is. I personally feel, if people who had admissions booked and those who don't wait till they have admission, the system won't be clogged. I also believe its reeks of desperation to leave this country which I am sure the embassy would sense and make them more skeptical about giving out visas. It is well. Let's do things as they are meant to be done and not be so selfish and we will all be rewarded. |

Hey guy, currently filling the visa application form. There is a place where its stated that you don't plan on staying for longer than 12 months and that's the length of visa you are applying for. Please, should that be ticked as my stay is for like 18 months (student)
Also, can a primary school testimonial go in place of a primary school leaving certificate??
Urgent answers please |

If you pay the normal fintina blocked amount plus the extras that now adds up to 8829 euros, will fintiba also issue an health insurance certificate for you with that package or there is another package for that? |

Please, Gurus already in Deutschland, i have a question.
Are web developers in Demand in Germany? I am going to take my masters in Development Economics come April but after going through another thread concerning surviving in Germany as a student, i have realised IT skills get you job faster and i am planning to undergo a training between January and March to be able to learn Web development so i can use that to get a side job in Berlin. So i want to know if web developers are also in demand in Germany. My other option is software engineering.
Opinions please |

erny11: Wow, sorry about that, do to take heart. I also lost my chance with them. I just got a rejection mail stating I was unsuccessful as my degree course isnt related enough (I studied Agric Econs) and they have lots of applicants. Of which less than 20% will be admitted.
Well to the next level, I want to apply for Msc Econs in both Kiel University and Trier University Ah...and there was Masters in Development Economics in University of Applied sciences Berlin. Thats what i applied for and they are not so tough on admission. They most likely would have given you if you had applied. I applied to gottigen for their development course too but i think they needed 36 people and I was no 48 on the ranking. Its tough to get into the school really. In case of next time, try university of applied science berlin for their MIDE( masters in International development and economics). Good luck with your other applications too |

ansellotty: For jobs, it depends on your city of residence.
If you could learn the language before coming, better. If you can't, you could enrol in language courses in your school upon arrival. At this stage, I don't even know Jack in German. Lol
Your wife and kids could join you after your arrival. It's usually better that you come alone. Afterwards, they could apply for a reunion visa. Is it easy getting a job in Berlin without proper knowledge of the language? |

Merleeklarry: Hello house, I went to an agent to help me apply for Germany admission, he told me he has applied after some days I got a call from German number telling me I applied to their school, the second day the number called me again and told me to pay for admission offer which was 50euro, I called the agent, so I gave him the money and he told me and show the the document that he has paid the money. What really happen is that do Germany school call student offering admission to their school....the school name is university of applied science If it is University of applied Science Berlin, na scam o. They don't make phone calls and you don't pay any 50 euros and application has ended since September 30 while admission was given early November. |

Chizzy4God: Bros the same thing happen to me right now. If you base in Lagos, I will advice you to print it out and take to embassy.when you reach they, meet those police men at the entrance explain it to them so that they will show it to Mr Paulinus to confirm it. Those police men that work will Mr Paulinus they are cooperating. So that you will no your stand. So that u will not went on to book for another date.
Second option is this, kindly send a mail to Germany embassy stating the situation. Make sure u attach the email that you said they send to you. I no that they will reply you quick on that.
Your bless Thanks a lot. I just sent them another mail explaining the issue. They sent me the english version confirming my visa appointment date. Thank you |
