Career › Re: SUBEB: My Mother Was Cheated And Harassed At Her Workplace by Modupetemmy1(f): 9:35pm On Feb 10, 2020 |
ayoadeifee: I Am writing this with my heart bleeding with too much pains, I need help!!!!! My mom has been working with the government as a teacher for the past thirty two years, she's upright and diligent and a very hardworking woman, she's the best teacher I grew up to know.
She was promoted to head teacher November last year after all she's due for it. In another school, the same local government, there are rifts and fights within that school which is school 1,2,3 which does not have anything to do with my mom, suddenly they called my mom from SUBEB, they want to transfer her to that school where they have been having loggerhead. But it's not that she doesn't want to go but my mom has health challenges. She's high blood pressure patient and the place of primary assignment is very far from our residence so she refused to collect the letter of transfer and she presented her doctor's report at SUBEB.
I forget to add that the other person they transferred to my mom school from the school they are having rifts was well known at SUBEB and was a very powerful person so she initially pointed where my mom was heading that she want that place or they transfer her back to her sch back, but my mom refused it, and since she has the back up of SUBEB, the chairman and almost everyone at that SUBEB came this morning and chased my mom out of her office saying she was suspended. They do not only cheated her but they also humiliated and violated her human right and harassed her publicly just because we don't know anybody from the government.
Meanwhile it's just within the local government, it has not reach the state level, At this present moment we don't know what to do. She has been so devastated and sad since morning. We have been praying but we still don't know what to do. I am into the system and I can tell you vividly that subeb have been politicised, just tell your mum to collect the transfer letter and go to the new school else they'll start pressurizing and intimidating her. don't bother to look for who will fight for you ooo cos you can't stand the pressure I'll advice you leave everything for God |

WuhanPerson: That is not the only fellowship. You realize there are Muslims here too right?
You however made a fair point on media seriousness which has been noted. This is just a plea to our beloved government, they have our information, our details, we just need help with evacuation.
Privacy decision stems from the fact i am not the only one involved, and whatever results from this plea could affect others. try and stay safe dear the Lord is your strength. this our present government no be am oooo they can lie for Africa |

Daumandu: Can This Lead To The Downfall Of Someone?
I just moved in to a bigger city and a better and bigger apartment. I co-rented a flat with a middle aged man.
Now here is the problem, in my business at least in a week, I attend to nothing less than 20 clients but since one month I moved to this apartment I have not seen a single client.
Any day I do my digital marketing I am sure to see at least 10 to 20 enquires but since a month I moved to the apartment no body ever chatted me up for business.
Today I had to withdraw the last 5k in my account. The least amount I ever had in my account was 20k now I only have 500. I am someone that always enjoy the grace of God in my business but now its as if heaven has turned it's back against me. I am seriously thinking of leaving the apartment.
Any Advice? though I am not a too religious being but I can tell you vividly that I have seen such house while growing up, no matter how rich the fellow is, they'll end up leaving the house without a penny. its not a story ooo I have seen it happen so just try and pray God will surely see you through. |

its not about the school itself but its about the non teaching staff. I once had an interview and needed my cert urgently; imagine after 6 years and I applied to collect my cert after paying 16k5 for common college of education I was ask to come back in 4 days , I begged and begged but they say even that 4days isn't sure yet that I should just try my luck if it might be ready in 4 days .I later had to call the current provost of the school who happen to be a friend and explain my ordeal to him he put call across and my cert was released in less than an hour that same day. imagine about 15 staff in the office doing virtually nothing rather than gisting while keeping peoples future at risk. the university own na once chance , I did all the clearance and paid all dues after which i was now told that my certificate is not yet ready after almost 2 years of graduation. this country is not that bad but we the individuals dwelling in her are the major problems |

Realtalk20: But I won't lie I am.not so strong
Twice I deeply planned my suicide to the last detail
I went looking for sniper because at that point Everytime I log on here with free basics I was seeing suicide stories so much so it looked like the best way for me .. but funny enough after planning it , I had no money to buy the sniper , then the second time u was just thinking of how I would look like a coward ..
So I increased my smoking tremendously hoping I would get lung cancer or something.. omo nothing o.. I was doing over 60 sticks a day.. one thing you need to know is down in the gutter life , they may not be able to buy for for you but one thing they can all buy for you is cigarettes... Even the abokis will give you free cigarettes when They like you .
Anyways my point is bravery is relative.. I won't claim to be brave or strong, it was just no guts to go along with the suicide or rather fear of being remembered as a coward .
Thee nairaland trolls help sometimes.. whenever I read posts on suicide and I saw how everyone abused them and called them coward I wasn't ready to be seen that way don't worry it will surely end in praise. |
Crime › Boko Haram Technically Defeated Was Such A Big Lie by Modupetemmy1(op): 9:04am On Jan 03, 2020*. Modified: 4:05pm On Jan 03, 2020 |
A neighbour in the next flat walk up to me last night looking very worried, I asked her what the problem is and she said her village is under boko haram attack. she explain a whole lot of un imaginable things she witnessed when she traveled to her village last year that counters what the military are claiming regarding victory over boko haram boys. she lost her father and sister in-law to the attack a whole lot is happening in the North and I am not sure the boko boys can't be conquered in20+ years to come cos they have some top ........... officials who supply them ammunitions and food. I have no choice but to weep for this country |

let me just give you a clue for buying drugs at luth. if her relative is around , drop some money with them to buy the drugs from mushin (outside luth) cos luth pharmacy drugs are expensive and also the pharmacy staff do inflate the drug fee I am saying this because when its time for clearance she wont have problem with the pharmacy. luth pharmacy staff are fond of billing patient upfront ; they will still bill you some money for the drugs that was not dispense therefore it is better to start buying her drugs outside luth premises for it is far cheaper and also there won't be accumulated bills. I am saying this from experience |

deduct every weekly defaulters loan from the each group member saving account. that's how its been done in my area, if you start deduction the money the members would fight whoever is defaulting since they know that it would be deducted from their savings account. |

Family › Re: How Can I Stop Helping My Cousin Without Feeling Guilty About Her Kids? by Modupetemmy1(f): 1:39pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
Try and fix your cousin with a job and also help the hubby with a business idea he can venture in so as to put them on their feet. pls don't stop helping people if you have the fund and means but don't help at your own detriment. open a student account for the boy and transfer him money for his upkeep, pls don't leave the account to be control by your cousin so that the boy won't get stranded in school, there are many banks in unilag. no body knows tomorrow, you never can tell what and who those kids might become in future. i have seen people who were once rich and today nothing for them also I have see people who were once nobody but now can feed thousands of people without hurting their finance. in summary; help when you have the means, the person you helped today might be your saviour tomorrow NOTE: always help but not at your own detriment |
