@ Mudley313, food for thought. So, what about associate pastors, assistant pastors and area pastors or other local pastors? |
Yep, is not certain because the issuing of non-immigrate visa is a privilege and not a right. They could decide to issue you this visa basic on their protocol or assessment. The issuing of "2years multiple visa" is base on the reason for your trip. Most people don't understand the following words, "purpose of trip". The purpose of trip could be "vacation" or "visiting". If you filled the dotted line with "vacation". You will need to provide or make available to the Consular Officer the hotel reservation for 5-10 days in one of U.S, City or State. However, if you filled the dotted line with "visiting", you need to provide a letter of invitation from someone in the US. This lack or little understanding of this purpose of trip affect the out come of visa applicants. I'm speaking from experience, the consular officer have three to five questions to asked you within 5-10mins max and these questions are the same questions you answered in your DS-156 and also restof the forms. Most of the time, the questions are tied or connected to the purpose of your trip such a schooling, visiting or vacation etc. For example, if you write on the form "vacation" and you told the consular officer at the interview that you are "visiting" or "staying with a relative" this is a red flag and it means you lied on your application. Based on this ground, the consular officer have the right to deny or refuse that applicant a visa. Therefore, the purpose of visit or trip should be detailed and the same word repeated to the consular officer too. In orderwords,I will advised your cousin to used this visa for the stated purpose and returned to Nigeria. |
@Joagbaje, do you mean this guys will never die and they will live forever and ever on earth. Where is Archbishop Idahosa? What happen to his ministry? |
Dantecmu:Q: Did you have any valid visa in your passport before the U.S visa was issued? |
afulstop:Yep, He got 2 reapply like a fresh applicant. However, he may be granted 2-5 years multiple visa because of his honesty. Mind you, I used the word "may be granted". Mostly, the reason for granting single entry visa is because of the reason behind the trip"conference" for 2-5 days. Also,It could be the traveler's first trip to the United States. |
He cannot renew a single entry visa, except multiple. |
topisdo:Good point @Topisdo. In addition, " the earth was formless and void". Which earth is formless and void? The one created before or after. I believe the probelm could be translation from Hebrew to english. |
Hoops! my bad. ![]() U no go die? Even Jesus self die before he resurrect. |
What will happen to the ministries of these men of God, if they are called home to be with the Lord such as G.O, Oyedepo, Pastor Chris, Adefarasin? |
My Heart bleeds for the poor church members. What will Jesus say? |
@ Afulstop, If the visa is granted for the conference, the normal catergory is B1/B2. For New or first-time traveler, the visitor/business visa is usually 3months single entry, and the information on the visa includes the issuing date and location of the conference. However, one could be luck to get 2yrs visa with multiple entries. |
Eritobi:@Eritobi, if Pa Akindayomi was a former member of Orimolade's movement why did he quit? Why did he established his own church? |
@Deep Sight, KAG, Bastage and Mazaje with no disrespect. Kindly supply NL with your sources or references to protray your points. I think this will give your arguments a strong ground in area of nothingness, nature vs. nurture etc. I hope you get my point. |
Guys, I was reading this and I feel touched. I think the best job is working for God because of the spiritual fulfilment and respect. But, today is a different ball game. Many churches are opened in the name of making money. The G.Os are Executives Managing and directing the branches or branch managers(local pastors) in the name of God. |
@Horus good point . @Jenwitemi,Vairo and Oga Tudor, who to blame the Banana or its skin? |
Thanks @Vairo. I guess you are right, we don't need to cry over spilt milk. I will refer my other cleries to your link as evidence. |
This may sound stupid or foolish, but I think is the best chance for both couple. Let the wife finish the process of the DV lottery, get her visa and green card in three weeks on her arrival to U.S. Afterwards, filed for her hubby and wait for him after five years as a US Citizen. Otherwise, there is likey chance of losing this slot. |

@Mazaje, I've been following your post for a while and I must commend your vast knowledge on religion. Based on your conversion from Christianity to Atheist, this rapid change influenced your perception of God's love. I could relate your atheist experience with that of Sigmund Freud, one the greatest human developmental theorist, psychoanalysis and an atheist . Who believed Christians are wasting their time worshipping an invisible heavenly God. he suggested Christians should take responsible for their actions and they should stop believing in this heavenly father. I quite agreed with some of his arguments. Though, Freud's teachings and theories were recognized and well respected. We cannot say this with his childhood because of many things went wrong and thus after his adulthood. For example, history records that Freud's father was disgraced in the public and he had little or nothing to do with him(Freud). His mother did little or nothing too. However, Freud grew up with little or no solid relationship with God. How would people like Freud knows or expressed love to some else, if they never experience love themselves? What do you expect from a person like Freud that never had a cordial relationship with his earthly father and not to mention an heavenly father? This shows that background and upbringing, plays a major role in ones life. Whether will accept it or not. we could see the negative influence this role played in Freud's live. The same I think is affecting our brother, Mazaje. In addition, God is a loving father just like our earthly parent. The probelm with believers and non believers is the acceptance of responsiblity. This is one thing we should learn from Freud's theory on religion. It means that if any thing happens to us, we should quit blaming God or questioning God for this or that, rather we should take it as our fate in life. Therefore, we should always remember that God loves us and he will not hesitate to correct us, if this action is required. |
I notice most people just check out this topic and move on. This is trend is about to take the body of Christ by surprise. Transgender is a person who is not comfortable with his or her biological feature. As a parent will you allow your child to change or switch? Is the body of christ ready for this 21st century change? |
@poster I think is sheer ignorance. |
Thanks @Jenwitemi, but we cannot let this "imported culture" hold us back. We need to move on and make change. Afterall, change is constant. We need the change now! Religion is the only means used by the rich to exploit the poor. Religion is causing dishonestly and lack of trust among families. It should be abolished. I don tire for this religion self! As learned Africans can't we create or incorporate our own religion? |
@Viaro, true talk. Please explain. |
@Mudley313, what exactly do you mean? |
If they laugh at us. It means we failed them and other generations. I think this whole religion thing is more of ignorance than spiritual. We are quick to draw lines and quote scriptures to support our point from personal opinion. If the former religion is not meeting the needs of the presence generation, let's redefine it or modernized it, what do you think? |
If you call sheer numbers an advantage. Remember the big gate to hell, as taught in the bible? Well, it takes a huge gate to take in huge numbers of people. @Jenwitemi, thanks for your honest post. I do agree with you that size doesn't matters from other areas of the bible . But,I think they have a point too, in terms of unity against attack or devices of the enemies, it does. Remember the famous quote that "one will chase a thousand and two will chase ten thousands". Back to the original or first post, Does this fulfill the spiritual needs of people that goes to church or mosque in any way ? Yes, it does from the unity point of view against attack. Stronger force for what? Against what? That is the question you should ask yourself. Who is benefitting from this "strong force"? You, or the religious clergy? Secondly, this strong force through unity or assembly of an organized religion could with stand any issue from physical to spiritual. The church as a body will benefit from this "strong force" and the clergy does sometimes. No, i do not agree. If knowledge sharing (whatever that knowledge is) is such an important element, then it is not helping to keep religions from each others throats. What sort of knowledge is being shared that does not prevent schizms happening in Christianity for example. You will never see spiritual people engaging in needless conflicts. I do understand that opinions are varies in life. I'm speaking from the information that I gathered from the interviews of both religious and spiritual people. The religious people claimed to be more knowledgeable because of their numbers in various areas that satisfy the pphysicaland spiritual needs. They are collective ideas or opinion on rites to fulfil the core spiritual aspect such as Mass choirs, diversity instrumentalists and different spiritual gifts that abounds in the congregation etc. I do agree with you that some and not all spiritual people engaged in needless conflicts. However, those religious people still claimed that their numbers does matters in fulfilling spiritual needs of the people than strictly spiritual people. What areas do you think they are wrong? |
The pressure is mounting on the body of christ to accept these people for what and whom they chose to be. Their first point are the church leaders. They want us to accept and recognized these people has mentally ill. Once this trend is accepted by us, it will be very easy to influence our congregation. So, what do you think about the church or the body of christ on this issue? Is the body of Christ ready and willing to accept this people? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7VDDs5Oguk |
What will you do, if your 7yrs old child, boy or girl? tells you that he or she doesn't feel comfortable being the same biological feature. He wants to change is organ or she wants to change her organ? Watch this shocking trend@ youtube. com and type "Dr.Oz show on transgender". I tell you this is just the begining!!! below is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7VDDs5Oguk |
@Jenwitemi, if spirituality is more important than religion, how come members of organized body believed they are at advantage than their counter parts. The religious members believed that "unity is a stronger force than oneness". They are vast because of numbers and tends to acquire knowledge in sharing or networking than those "spiritual". Do you agree with this? |
What is your source or reference of your story about this "Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolashe? How does his life influence today's christianity? |
The first probelm is many people be follow, follow and them no open eye. Secondly, people love to be part of the latest trend such as religion, fashion and music etc. |
Thanks @Fofiled. You made an interesting point about our minds playing trick on us. Another probelm with religion is too much followers and few leaders. People are been manipulated through ignorance. Imagining a secondary school drop out advising a masters holder or professor on same subject in the name of religion. Infact the way things are going religion will make us lose our culture, true identity and common sense. What are we passing down to the next generation about our history, if will allow religion to continue to call the shot? |
