Late Lt. Col. Abu Ali has been trending for the past three days now. His Superiors and subordinates have equally lost their lives in their line of duties over the years fighting boko haram, but none has generated this much sympathy across the country, why? Because Lt. Col. Abu Ali distinguished himself in his line of duty. He led as a fine officer, related with his superiors and subordinates excellently. It's not all Nigerians that knew Mr Abu Ali personally, but from the eulogies of his fellow officers, senior and junior ones, it's easy to conclude that he not only led his life as a fine officer but also as an amazing individual. This should be a lesson to us all, we shouldn't just praise Lt. Col. Abu Ali and others for their heroic act, they lived and died for Nigeria and humanity. If we don't continue with what they died for, we have already failed them. Military men and civilians alike, let's strive to make the world a better place, serve those we represent fairly and excellently, only then our prayers and mourning of these Heros will be genuine. Boko haram have done a lot of damage to our collective progress as a nation, the scars are still fresh, let's support our military to wipe them out of the surface of the earth. Our leaders also need to reflect, those that are making the prosecution of those that misappropriated the funds meant to buy weapons for our soldiers to easily fight these savages also need to have a rethink, they are indirectly helping boko haram succeed, we need to make example of these unpatriotic and disgusting elements in our society. The families of these soldiers have been rendered heartbroken, our military institutions lost their finest men in this battle, the only way we can do justice to what they fought for is doing right by them even in their absence. May their soul rest in perfect peace and may almighty Allah give their families the fortitude to bear the loss!

National Assembly should urgently intervene in this Cucumber matter. This fruit is a threat to men's relevance and dignity. They should pass a law to restrict the purchase of Cucumber by single unaccompanied woman below 70 years of age. It is in the interest of all men of all creed to act fast otherwise, we will all lose our bragging rights and relevance to a common fruit. Some naughty girls have publicized the misuse (of this hitherto innocent fruit) as cheap but effective woman happiness-assuring instrument. Cucumber when wrongly used is fuller, stronger, longer and even more steadfast. It is also handy and ever ready to be used, reused and be used again without complaint or sagging. It can also keep secret. Let's us all join hands in fighting this wicked fruit that would do to men what the discovery of computers has done to typewriters. With cucumber, who needs a man? I have warned my wife that I don't want to see the evil fruit around my house. In fact, to avoid any chance occurrence, I have banned European salad dishes in my house. Only African salads are allowed henceforth. Instead of discovering cure for diseases, these small girls are busy inventing man-humiliating devices. Cucumber is a threat to mankind! Good morning everyone |

Guys please stop raining insult on me.... Am pursuing my dream and i dont care where it start from!!! The difference between i and haters is that I believe in myself and have dedication and pride - and never quit, and surely i will be a winner. Insecurity and fear will not hinder or stop me from trying something new, The price of victory is high but so are the rewards. I take nairaland as on of the best place to pursue my career even though God knows best!!! For those that support me thanks alot!!! One love... My advise for haters is Believe in yourself, and the rest will fall into place. Have faith in your own abilities, work hard, and there is nothing you cannot accomplish....
