I was just going to ignore this until I saw that you don't want to read up from beginning of the thread.

Do you realise that we all read up??!
Do you also know there is something called google?!
You want information but you don't want to work hard to get it?!

I don't understand most of you guys on here especially the newbies.
You come and post questions that have already been answered in previous threads and expect us to sound like a broken record, repeating answers.

That is why the white men said if you want to hide something from a black man put it in a book and be rest assured that they won't read it.

But I'm really glad that most of us black people are excelling and exceeding their expectations of us. Everyday we are getting goodnews of high flying men and women on this thread that really gladens my heart, all because they made a choice to work hard and get things done!!!

So don't be that black man that refused to read. Better start reading up.
Firstly Happy New month sir/ma
Honestly speaking sir/ma it didn't amount to this, If the said moniker didn't get a response or total silence on his post it would have been better than the crucifixion....
I'm certain he mit not rely only on information given to him here and might just be surfing the net only to stumble here and drop his questions for experienced people ..
If we can't help or profer solutions we should just fold our arms and watch!!!!!! Haba... Make person read 500pages.. Not even a reference or a link.... Nawa...

I have been reading this thread since 2013 and the Gurus always tell people to say the truth but you guys keep doing this thing and saying it was a mistake lol.
True talk bro
The forms say 'Have you been denied or refused Visa to Canada and anyother country ,most might be oversight tho and some might be intentional thinking they won't eventually figure out the truth but mehnnnn These CIC people are experts at their jobs!!!!! Truth is golden!!

Jnyuwa02 posts are educative too... pple shudnt come on here to vent on anyone due to CICs pressure...Courtesy is being respectful even to the faceless forums...No thread is been derailed honestly...Talking about CIC all day is no fun, Let there be spice!!!(atleast relative to the main topic) Educative arguments but not confusing to readers..Everyone is here to learn, one *line/sentence* can add an immeasurable value to a soul....

You are indirectly telling her/him to lie. Please you have to tell them that you have relatives if you are asked. To avoid misrepresentation.
Helloooooo!!!! ....it was just my opinion please
Besides most people have applied successfully without stating relatives...Everyone knows someone who knows someone in Canada so pleaseeee don't quote me sir/ma, thanks
Infact with the rate of denial what's the essence of stating what might be contradicting which isn't totally neccesary sef?? huh Question to you Mesh!!!

please i need your advice. in my first application i didnt state that i have relatives in canada, do u advice i tell them in this second application that i have relatives? thank you in anticipation
I don't think it's neccesary to state a relative because you'll indirectly loose your home tie and the VO might be on a *wavy level* thinking you wudnt return after completion of your studies...
Just my thoughts....

Okay. ....Thanks. ...like what I asked senator he said I should fill in tuition 18000. ...room and board 7000. ....Other. ...3000. .then I should add the three together to make my fund available for stay 28000 Canadian Dollar
Its your choice... But then i think Room and Board should be btwn 10kCad and above as required by CIC for your living expenses (accommodation and feeding)......Well do more to be informed, just my thoughts!
Cheers

Depending on what you are going for in canada. If it's a graduate program, you don't have to worry so much about the waec certificate for visa application as your offer letter and degree certificate/ transcript is the important documents you will need. If it's an undergraduate program, then you will have to rectify the error or use a court affidavit to clearify the error made as you will need it for your visa application.

In all though, ensure you rectify discrepancies in your certificates and like the other moniker mentioned, it may come back to hunt you later on if you don't.
@Austinpee4 oga abeg i fit PM you... Please, thanks.

What is the essence of account "boasting" when you very well know you wudnt be able to afford tuition and keep up with your first year living expenses... It's better actually to stop thinking of thousands-dollar jobs upon resumption to Canada as primary priority and try to secure first year expenses atleast ....

is anyone here applying for MAsc Carleton University, Ottawa, and possibly Electrical and Computer engineering?

I don't really understand all the terms used here such as trv etc.. Am still at my application stage, and I need small assistance...

I'll be grateful if anyone can put me through...
As the gurus would say,
Do your research
Do your research again
Be informed
Make enquiries to schools yourself
And yes.. TRV means Temporary Resident visa... Cheers cool

Hi house, I'm new here. Been applying for admissions for over 2 years now but never got any. Even had to pay an agent to help get admission in Canada and still nothing came up. I missed out on the NDDC scholarship this year because I have not secured an admission (pained me to mu bones). Have been contacting some schools in Canada but I keep getting the same story, that funding is low and admissions are tight. Please I need some directions to help me secure an admission really soon. Thanks alot and God bless for your contributions.
So long you meet the requirements you're qualified, some schools aren't so tough and admission isn't as tough as your acclaimed agent told you so, do your research yourself, make enquiries to several admission offices of several schools by mail, in the aspect of funding if your still unable to get funding i suggest you apply to the cheapest school within your financial capabilities ...you mit do good to read up an old link posted here on guidelines too... Success sir!!!

u don't need transcript from ur diploma course, 1 year after Seco day school isn't bad. But when did u get direct entry admission? the duration of it to when u got ur canada admission will have to be explained if it's much but if it's jot just tell the vo u deferred ur direct entry cos u wanted to study in Canada and since then u have been helping ur uncle in his business just to keep u busy while u wait for ur canada admission
Thanks for your help, actually meant to be in 3rd year by September... Finished schl 2014
My uncle works in a govt organization
My intended co-sponsor works in a bank.
Can i draft in my study plan that I've been engaging in vocational activities like french language learning and computer training after completing my diploma program even if na lie... Me stating i deferred admission to restart wudnt it be a red flag? Thanks for your steady swift response sir

u are good to go, but u will have to explain every educational gap between when u finished ur secondary school, ur diploma and now that u have admission to study in Canada. A well structured sop will work. Gurus in the house should help out on this pls
okay sir,one year gap after sec schl grad then did a diploma certificate which qualified me for a direct entry to the University and then i deferred my UG admission till date,so i possibly can't input all these long stories or if so, how do i because i can't get a transcript for all these untill completion of my UG...do i just state sec schl and diploma certificate in my Study plan?

Austinpee4:
The thing is, if you have sufficient funds to cover your program for the 4 years, you do not need a sponsor or co sponsor.

You only need to demonstrate and prove to officers that these funds are and will be available to you. However you choose to do that will be up to you. A one time bank draft in convertible currency, or an account opened for this purpose will suffice. All IRCC is interested in is that you have available funds for your program. While they ask for the first year, it is not a a rule that you cannot show funds for your entire program if you have it.

Just make sure it is convincing that funds will be available for you if you have everything for your program. Once you do this well, there will be no need for sponsor etc. You simply act as a self-sponsored applicant and explain where you got all the funds you will expend during your program since you are still young and going for an undergraduate program.

Note: having all your funds will mean, your tuition *4 + 10,000CAD* 4.
Okay sir, i feel adding one or two sponsors might help and boost my financial qualifications so i don't appear as the strain on my parent's benefit to my other siblings.
Thanks for this detailed helpful response sir, I deeply appreciate your good work here sir, anymore suggestions will be welcomed sir, GOD bless you sir

1. your uncle should pay the money into ur account and both of u will submit ur respective bank statement.
2. in using a co-sponsor all u need is another letter of support from the co-sponsor and he/she will also show commitment by paying either ur tuiton fee or pay his own support fund into ur account.
NB: since u say u don't work, when did u roundup ur last school? Cos u will need to explain the large chunk of cash in ur account(apart from the one ur sponsor's will send to u). My advise will be:
1.Since u have enough to carter for ur tuition, living expenses and also carter for ur siblings I will tell u to provide proof that the money was from ur parents benefits(it will act as source of fund).
2. If u trust ur uncle enough with money and u have another bank account(the one that doesn't have much money in it ) u can transfer ur tuition and living expenses + extra cash to ur uncle then he will later pay the said cash into ur other account (that has little money in it), after paying it into ur account let him write a letter of support stating the amount he sent to ur account and why he is sponsoring u (he can tell the vo ur parents made him who is is today and since they are no more it is his duty to make sure u have the very best education).
Thanks for your response sir, I can show source of funds e.g pension, gratuity, insurance, etc
Also, I'm opting for an undergraduate programme as i finished sec schl just a few years tho i deferred my UG studies here in naija i do have a diploma certificate which can be related to my proposed program of study.
More of your advice needed sir, thanks alot GOD bless you sir.

Goodafternoon everyone, I have a question bothering me hence I've been unable to submit my visa app yet for Jan2018 ...I've just been depressed and using this forum to ease my mind by frequently learning...
1.Please, Does my sponsor need to transfer funds to my account and still print a statement of his account or I'll be the one to print the statement after he transfers even if he will eventually have a low balance after the transfer .. (Note:Na my own money i send to am because he broke presently now bt na rich man tho#big salary#)i have his supporting documents cos he's my guardian also

2.If I'm to use a co-sponsor,how do i do this, does he also have to transfer money to my account too...
Lets say my tuition and living expenses sum to 18kCad, does he have to transfer some funds to my account... Preferably another bank account or same...
I know my questions seems odd, The thing is i have enough funds to cover my undergrad studies and even that of my siblings but the funds are/were paid to me as my late parent's death benefit hence i can't present myself as sponsor because i don't work, still a kid tho cool
Please Beautiful people someone gimme a breathe of fresh air
Austinpee4, Canadiannurse,Guru and aspiring gurus your suggested inputs will be much appreciated... And to the TRV expectants may God cause you to smile and bring your Canadian dream as mine to reality soonest... God bless y'all

Talk of respect and humility in your post. Nuff said. This is the problem with Nigeria. What happened to freedom of speech and expression in this country? People can't express their ideas when it has repeatedly worked for them? I studied in the U.S. on full scholarship, all expenses paid, single handedly got my visa there. Now the same thing is happening for me in Canada for my graduate studies. Yet I know nothing and my ideas means nothing and I am not allowed to disagree with the so called gurus? Please continue to ignore me. I know some are listening and I will continue to dispense all I know and learn in the process too.
You make good points but your approach sometimes ehnnn... *sips coffee*

My goodness!!!

Bro stop with your bickering and ill-informed posts, you are talking about things you have no experience of. People you see giving advice here are not just dishing it out for the sake of creating a post, they do it because they have an idea of how it works or have been through same situation in the past.

The lady in question asked the house for recommendations and the house is helping her out by sharing thoughts with her, you Mr. Man didn't say anything until you saw others sharing their thoughts, then you went on tackling every post on the subject matter...

There's this aura of dissent that you exude whenever you make a contribution, you want to always rub it on people's face that you know better, come on stop with your attitude, this is Nigeria, you are no longer in the US , learn to keep quiet when you have no experience whatsoever on the subject matter, and learn to respect people because the gurus you see here today have been around for over 2 years now and will be around in more years to come, but I am certain that you won't even remember this thread by September this year should you get your visa approved

Be humble... sit down
Breathe of fresh air!!!! cool smiley

Thanks for your response sir. Yes, they are responsive and Brandon University tuition is quite low too. However, I read some negative reviews about the school and the town of Brandon. Don't know if those reviews are honestly written.

I just need suggestions from those that are in the school or city to give me full insight about things going on around there. To your question, I'm going for undergraduate programme.

Many thanks. smiley
UG too... Well to your question the main goal is to get a good and certified degree. If we were to live by cities people wudnt even school these days, and by the way so long the school is accredited and a certified learning institution, i feel there's no cause to worry about, but in the end Its your choice and decision sir!
