And she has a small poutry and fish pond, where she sells eggs, point and kill, the business is not registered, just running, stones she gets 300k, 200k etc from her customer. The customer pays her in her personal account. It is just her 2nd source of income, pls house how can she explain it to the ECO, how other credit entries from her small business enters her account.

2. For the traveling expenses is it only two months salary she will dispose?

Finally, kindly advice if she should go through invitation and stay in her cousin house or she book hostel? We are also trying to save cost . Kindly advise dear house. Many thanks for your kind response.

Thanks

Oh you mean her "husband" married an EU citizen to get his residency and then plans to bring her later?
If that is the case, why would someone intentionally marry a conman?
Ps he is not a conman, I am trying to get information, d'nt judge immediately in what u are not sure yet. The man is a genuine man, is just that he came to UK and his ex-partner died and he later claim right of residence and later he has to remarry from Nigeria. He is living happily with the wife, married the new wife in church,is just that he is yet to get permanent stay in uk

Why can't he file for her now? And staying 6 months at a time may raise eye brows with immigration. If she can split the 6 months into 3 months - wait 6 months and then another 3 months or better still, spend a few weeks at a time and visit 3 or 4 times a year.
He has not gotten his indenfite leave. Thanks for y response

Am sure he is a permanent citizen cos my sis got her pr and joined him in uk last year so his documentation should be ok. My sis mentioned he may be illegible to sponsor as he no more works full time since he started schooling. Is my mum better off applying for a visiting visa. If So, during the application what will we write as her reason for wanting to travel?
Since, they can not invite y mum, ps I will advice her to just apply as a tourist with the intention to visit the UK for summer holiday.

There is no place in the application she is asked to write reason of visiting. What is asked is purpose of visiting, she picks the purpose from the options in dialog box. My advice again is that she should book hotel reservation as where she will stay, bc if she mentions she will stay in y sister's house, your sister has to provide all her details, which I guess, she might not have all, bc the ECO will like to see that y sister is capable of accomodating her during her stay in the uk and also if she state y sister address as where she will staying, y sister phone number will be included in the address of the place she will stay and the ECO might wish to call her to verify if she is expecting some one, who is the person to her etc, and the ECO will also wonder why letter of invitation is not included in d application, so to avoid all these complications, she should just book hotel or hostel in booking.com, as soon as she gets the visa, she cancel it. When she is ready to travel, she can book again bc, of when she gets to POE, she might be asked where she will staying, when she finally gets to y sisters house, she cancel d reservation.

Also when filling the application, she will come across the place that is asked if she knows anybody in the UK, will she be visiting? The person status in the UK, so it is left for y mum and sister to decide what she will answer there . But, I do advice pple if u are not very sure of the person status in the UK and if the person is not ready to provide relevant documents about his/her self, ps just click NO and avoid any complications and denial. All the best to y mum

Good day. Please assist advise further.
My mum is retired teacher and wants to sponsor herself to go do omugwo for my sister. My sister is unable to sponsor her as her proof of funds is low and she is only doing a part time job. My mum has enough money as proof of funds. How best can we go about the application to avoid it being denied
My question, since your sister can not sponsor what of her husband?
What is the status of y sister and her husband in the UK?
You guys av to be very sure of the status they av in the uk.
If any of them av a permanent resident, then a letter of invitation will be send inviting your mum for omugwo. But the person inviting her must provide the details of job, stays in uk, proof of address for y mum to include in her application.

On the other hand, if all these are not available I will advise your mum to just apply as a tourist. (Visiting visa)
All she need is to present some supporting documents to help increase her chances of getting visa such as the certificate of her retirement as a teacher, her pension, national ID if she has, letter of employment before she retired, the last 6months payslips bf retirement, retirement benefit and comprehensive account showing the budget she has estimated for her trip and some left for her to use when she comes bk.

You're getting this wrong.... People still get visa for vacation but you must have strong ties.. he was denied based on weak travel history, if his trip to the U.K was last 2-3 years they may consider it and his wife pregnancy maybe an advantage or disadvantage depending on the V.O.
Ps I said on some circumstances. I never said that pple d'nt get visa for vacation.

Me: No.

Sorry your not qualified at this time. angry Where did I go wrong now?
Chai!! so sorry about this. Before one decide to apply for USA visa this time around, it has to be on something very genuine, they no longer consider vacation on some circumstances. Like this your own case , u are married and y wife is 2months pregnant , her first pregnancy and u are leaving her to go for 10days vacation, not a good one bros, that is the way the VO will evaluate u. Had it been u are going on a serious business trip no problem leaving y wife behind but going on vacation alone , NO WAY!
Also u d'nt av recent traveling history. Not enough for USA dis days. Try to travel again to uk or France bf u apply.

Because of this Canada stuff, they av really increased their criteria for evaluating visa dis days. Cheer up and all the best next attempt

Hello all the gurus, please your help is needed here. A friend want to follow another of our friend for graduation. His invitation letter is ready from the school with his name. He would be sponsored by the graduating friend what other document would he need to supply on his own for the visit visa.

He does not have much in his account.

The friend graduating and sponsoring would need minimum of how much as sponsor to convince ECO.

Thank as you answer
My advice, the graduating person should apply and get his visa first before sponsoring any friend, let him d'nt complicate issues for him self and be denied visa ps.

The graduating person need a very good job, with good salary, enough money in his account and the money to keep him going after sponsoring.

I can not really tell the exact estimate he will need to sponsor him , Probabally extimate of 3M or 4M in his account. All these depends on how many days they will stay, the accommodation, flight fare, feeding and living expenses.

For Nigerians it means "Land of Opportunity” USA has many opportunities for one to excel when u live there, there are lots of things to do. To fulfill our American dreams means, to av a taste of good environment, good food, security, good system of government, stable light and water, etc. It also offers victors a wide varieties of recreational activities ,sightseeing and good relaxation. So many things to fulfill the life one desire to live in this world and American is one of the beautiful country we desire to fulfill that dreams.

Hello People,

I plan on travelling to the US for a conference in the US. It's an annual conference which i was denied VISA last year. A colleague of mine was given that same last year, she went and got back within a week without crossing any rule. Now i am reapplying again should i add i am going with someone on ds160 form because we are suppose to go together again or i should maintain going alone. I believe her good behaviour will rub off on me grin

Secondly, do i have to select group interview while booking for interview since she already has her VISA which she used in travelling for the said conference last year?
If u are really sure, u are going with her, include it in your DS-160. When the VO ask you, about the person mention she has a visa. U can take photo copy of her visa incase the VO ask of it.

Since she has her visa no need doing group booking.
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by monchat(m):
It hurts really bad like really bad when you are refused USA visa because atimes one can not really figure out a reason to know what went wrong, u are left to guess by y self. Atimes it might not even be what u assumed, that u are refused for, unlike UK that will clearly state it and u work on y refusal to get it right next time. Atimes it takes one month for the pain to heal, lol!

Ps let us all be helpful to one another, let us go extra mile to assist each others in this forum and let us pray harder that all our efforts we have put in for the USA visa and reading this wonderful thread from part 1-3 never end up in a blue sheet of paper section of (214b). Left for me the USA govt is really extorting Nigeria massively. Ps let us av a genuine reason bf going to embassy, if y ties are not very strong d'nt waste money ps. Build up trevel history in any developed countries, like UK, France, Germany, Canada e.t.c. ps d'nt waste money to travel to Ghana or Togo to build travel history, USA no de look am. Even now some VO no longer see Dubai or south Africa as travel history.
Moreso, people trying to use fake visa, hmmmm! Just stop it, we need to be careful of agents we use. The best agents u can use is this wonderful forum. They will not only answer your questions but, teach u how to do it by your self. I am glad I av learnt alot from this wonderful forum. I regretted that I ignored asking questions from it bf I applied for my visa (especially this ties) but, I was able to get informations on it to fill my application. Atleast I know better now.
This forum is very good, fun and educating. let us never be shy in asking questions, even if y questions are ignored, raise it again and always endeavour to use please, kindly, bc we all are humans not animals. Then when y questions are answered always learn to say a word of thank you, I appreciate.

Ps let keep educating one another .Providing ties means having a good job, stable job, years of working experience, progression along with your job duties( ps write as much duties u can, not just write one duty and submit application) your salary package, martial status, kids, travel experience. In conclusion reading and taking note of relevant messages from part 1-part 3 of this thread .

All the best to all of us and may God help us to fulfill our American dreams.

I don’t think your friend was denied because of the family visa category. Nevertheless a family visa is when you have an invite from a family member to visit. A tourist visa does not necessarily requires an invitation. So your friend is right to choice family visit. A family visitor must have a family member in the UK which can be a spouse, siblings, parents, or close and distance relatives. A tourist visitor may or may not have any family member in the UK but must have credible travel history.
Thanks bros.
