It is beacuse u are a cabin crew that was why the visa was approved. For u mentioning cabin crew, she believes u might av travel to lot of places. Congrats Best of luck dear. Don't worry u wl get the visa one time without stress. So about my transcript...9am at Lagos embassy. As i just entered the interview room, i saw people i was like waoh this is the real deal mehn. So i did thumbprint continued with the queue till it got to my turn. I was directed to window 6, a white lady. The three people that were in front of me all got the white paper so i was like okay this is cool. But mehn the young white guy at window 4 was just giving out blue paper like pure water. Finally oo it got to my turn, the real interview began... VO: good morning, passport please Me: good morning with a smile, here's it *dropped my passport at the required place* VO: where are you going in usa? Me: I'm going to El-paso, Texas VO: *typed for a while* Why are you going to texas? Yes lot of people av travel to USA without traveling history but after the VO evaluate them, their strong tie is always strong. It is depending on y tie. If u are single and av a good job, well paid and years of experience, u might be considered. But just to be at a safety side just gather small traveling history to boost y interview. U can go to Dubai since u are looking at y pocket. Dubai does not require any protocol in applying for visa unlike UK and France which requires your bank statement and other documents. But Dubai and UK are still expensive, almost the same flight ticket and the same money for visiting tourist attractions. (Because of y pocket u should visit only Dubai) Thanks a lot for your response. I really appreciate sir. Actually, I've heard and seen some people on the thread get a US Visa with no traveling history but I just wanna fulfill all rites to increase my chances of getting the visa. Well, I don't know how much traveling to the UK will cost altogether but I used to see UK as very very expensive to travel to, though, I know moving to other Schengen countries from UK wont be a problem. Can you please advice based on the bolded part of the quote.? Thanks

Since it will expire by Nov, and the next available month for appointment is September, and y passport will expire in three months time. I will advice u to renew your passport after y trip to any country that u want to use inorder to get traveling history. 1. U can not apply for USA visa with just 3months bf it expires. They only accept 6months only. Try to renew it before u apply for USA visa. 2. I will advise u to visit UK and France. Apply for UK and when u get it, apply for France . When u get to Uk, u can take a train and visit France, then u can visit some schengen countries like Germany to get their stamp on y passport. Or u visit France first and then visit uk. The choice is yours. Then come bk to Nigeria and renew y passport and apply for USA visa. USA people prefer Europe countries most time for traveling history. All the best Hello Everyone, Well done..! And a great job you're all doing here. I'm presently reading the first part and I keep checking this third part daily as well. Thanks for the expensive info being divulged here. Really appreciate. I have some questions please... I got my passport some years ago and I couldn't even step out of the country with it (didnt apply for any visa, just been using it as form of ID), and now it will expire November this year. I'm planning to apply for the US Visit Visa anytime soon. My likely travel date would be before it expires in November and I'm hoping to get interviewed in September. 1. Can I apply for the visa with it like that or I have to wait till it expires? 2. Also, I don't have any travel history. I want to have at least one or two before then. What reasonable countries can I go to before then, that wont take much of my money.? Note that I'll be traveling to these countries just for the sake of having traveling history in order to increase my chances. Thanks for your response.
My advice: since her old passport will expire in 4months time, I will advise her to use the new passport in filling her DS-160 and schedule appointment. The most important thing is the DS-160 and the appointment scheduled having the same passport number. The passport she will use is the new passport and it is the new passport number that is required not the old one. So let her go ahead and use the new passport number in filling her application. Hello nairalanders my sis paid for her visa fess with a passport that is to expired in 4 months time, now she has gone to renew her passport. Can she enter the new passport number when she want to book for appointment or she should still use her old passport number since that is what is on her slip given to her in GT bank when she went to pay her visa fees? Any help please on what to do? Confused
Not at all. No issue, provided money comes in and go out from your account. The only problem is if u keep logging money a month to y submission without taking out, that is where suspecious comes in. Hello house am new here I have an issue want to apply for uk visit visa but was denied 2013 so planning to reapply this are my status that have changed I own my business now, have 4kids so am planning to submit my business account and personal savings but my account was used to receive money by my dad in March which was cash out with my cheque book by him but on normal day I do receive huge amount in my account from customer but that was the biggest in the past 6month most customers use p.os and transfer and some pay in cash which I pay into the account myself my fear now is the money my dad received in my account total over 2million was cash out same day because it was meant for my sister building site Hope I won’t have issues with this money when I apply please house I need your help on this thank you
The only way I know one can migrate and stay legally in the UK is through work visa, spouse visa, family visa or study visa. Other guru's in the house can contribute too. Thank you for your contribution. So what is the prerequisite for Migrant Visa to the UK?
My dear I will advise your friend to please build up her familly ties well bf she apply for USA. USA are very strict on the ties. For a single lady she might not av enof family tie, the VO might wave it off and evaluate her base on her years of experience, the salary she earns and traveling history. Her chances to me is low. I will advice her to travel to the UK to build her traveling history. If she is interested in applying for UK I will advice her what to do. Cheers 3 years as a fashion designer No travel history Average of 50k monthly.
Congrats for the 6months visa. As a visitor u can lent apartment with y family for the duration of stay u are required to stay only if u are lucky to get a house owner that can lent u a house with a visiting visa. Kindly note dat duration of stay in the UK is 180days (6months) so if u or y family overstay, u are now count as illegal immigrants. Renting a house in the UK can not make y family get migrant stay in the UK. If u want to relocate y family to the UK, u make enquiries on it or guru's in the house can explain better. I was given a 6 months Visa and i traveled to the UK and returned yesterday. But i have this plans: i want to rent a house in Burnley, UK for at least 1 year down payment, i have the plans of relocating my family to the uk why i continue my business here. My question is, can renting a house for one year in the UK be a contributing factor in getting a migrant Visa for my family? Is it even eligible for me to rent a house in the UK with my visit Visa?
My dear let us face reality ps, this is 18months old child, it is not advisable. I d'nt see the possibility of VO granting him visa with the grand mother. If the child is like 7 upwards no problem but just 18months. This one that you are so sure of this 'denial'... If the grandmom has the authorized permission/consent from the parents and she can conveniently convince the VO. Then why not? My concern is that it is like killing a mosquito with a hammer. The child's visa is not a threat to the embassy IMO as children's visa are usually tied to the parents or guardian.
I d'nt think the hotel will be contacted during your visa processing. The important thing is that the booking confirmation is reflecting on the hotel reservation u submitted. But to be on a safe side I will advice u to write a note and explain to the consulate officer that you received an email on so so date that your reservation was cancelled and now u have book another one. Attach the letter with the new booking and attached a letter with the one u cancelled. Arrange it well, so that the person scanning it at the visa office will place it inorder when scanning to home office in uk. This is my advice. I think is better u explain to them. On Visa renewal, I’ve submitted online, made payment and booked my appointment which is in less than 2 weeks. But I just got a mail from the hotel I made reservation that my booking has been canceled because of insufficient fund in my account. (Obviously the booking was just to submit my application) Question is, will the hotel be contacted to confirm my booking? Should I still go ahead, since I already have a printed out confirmation? Can I submit a different hotel booking confirmation while my application is carrying another hotel details? What is the process of changing hotel on an already submitted application?
The VO will just denial yr 18months son and y visa money gone. It is not advisable at all dear. D'nt allow the small boy get 2nd denial again I beg u. The VO will just reject him straight ahead without even asking y grandmother much about him. U can not just apply for 18months son alone, he has to apply with the parents not grandmother. U can employ a house help for him when grandma travel or u put him in a crèche. Ps u and y family should prepare to reapply again and work on the reason (s) why the 1st visa was denial. Good day everyone, Please I want to apply USA visa for my son of 18months old, he was denied USA visa last year along with me and his father but now his grandma who has a valid USA visa is willing to take him along on a 2weeks trip for a church program since his grandma is the one taking care of him Whenever we are off to work and me and his Dad are always very busy at work, no one to stay with him if his grandma travels out. Please can i apply for him? If yes, how do i go about it? Will his grandma be the one to take him to the embassy or one of his parents? Will he be granted visa because both parents don't have USA visa? Thanks and God bless.
For the B1/B2 form only what is asked is only your surname and first name. But d'nt worry about it. The most important thing is y schedule appointment page having the same bar code with y DS-160 confirmation page when u print it out. Only what the VO wants is y confirmation number which is tag on y passport during checkin. However during the day of my interview I met some applicants who had their 1st name, middle name and surname together. So no fear. But for next time follow the instruction ps. U can not buy B1/B2 form, u only fill the form or edit. U can still edit the names and check if u still have the schedule appointment date u choose bf. if the date av not moved up, u can edit and schedule again and send to y email for print out. If u can not do anything about it just leave it like dat. So far is the extact name on y passport. Ps I d'nt understand the 2nd question **Meanwhile accompanying children's details were well captured. What can I do? ** Hello House. I need your advise. Just scheduled appointment for US interview but realised that only the surname and first name were input meanwhile I had input surname, first name and middle names of DS 160 form as requested on the form. Now on the appointment schedule page only first name and surname is asked so until appointment was booked b4 I realised. Does it mean I will buy another B1 /B2 form? Meanwhile accompanying children's details were well captured. What can I do? I will appreciate your urgent feedback
Let her ask her self if she has a strong family tie in Nigeria. Since she is single she has no family ties. No hubby and kids 2. How long has she been in the fashion designer work? ( Years of experience working as a fashion designer) 3. Have she got any traveling history. Traveling history to Europe countries not Contonu or Togo o! (Which is a plus) How much does she make monthly and yearly in her business The VO will evaluate her with the above. Hello House, I have a friend that wants to apply to visit the US. She is 27, single and a fashion designer (business is not registered). I think her chances are low, but i would like to hear from other experienced people here.
Sahbarg:Go to any GTB closest to u, pay the visa fees Fill your DS-160 form. Get the confirmation code and use it to schedule your appointment. Check the application form very well and submit. Then prepare your self for the interview |
smilz:I have never submitted utility bills in my three applications and my visa was approved. If u choose to summit it, u can make it just three months. |
edmasta01:No need ps. In my three statement of account one was carrying a different address from my main address and I submitted it without writing additional information which u need to show proof. The Important thing is , the statement of account belongs to u |
dalutin:Ps visit booking. com. Hostel is preferable and cheap . The last time I applied I use hostel in Liverpool because I saw cheapest hostel there. But I use it to get the visa but will be traveling to London. |
Shugarlord213:Kindly ask goggle for cheapest Skol and it brings out all cheapest skols |
obaxlove:Send it to me. I will check it. |
Yinkuss04:Does yr company pay into y account? If yes it is very simple meet the HR of the two part time jobs u are doing, tell them to make a payslip for u and stamp it. Let the amount in the bank salary reflect on y payslip. Note that, on the payslip u tax deduction must appear on it. If u need help I can assist u on how u can do it |
uist:Current price 57,600 USA 160 Exchange rate: 360 |
Weather they know or not let him concetrate on his USA interview. It is not a crime to be rejected in another country expect u av any criminal records. The link I know USA and Canada share is link in border. For example if u commit crime or deported in Canada and u apply to USA, u will be cut at port of entry. For me I think they share link only on port of entry not in issuing visa. Expect the only way they might know is when u go for y biometric, but biometric is only use to check y passport and other crime. Yes they will know without you telling them because they share link with Canada. No refusa stamp on passport for Canada refusal. For other countries they can only know if the refusal stamp is on your passport or you telling them,
damilola1978:No!! The next available date for Lagos is September while for Abuja is July. U can only get early dates if it is emergency. But the emergency have to be something that is really serious. Not for vacation . Expect for medical issue, resumption of skols or any other pressing issues. However u can keep checking every night to know if somebody will cancel, then u grab it but it is not always easy. During my own time someone said I should pay her to enable her get date for me but I was not ready to spend 12k that she was demanding rather I picked the next available date and waited for almost one month ![]() |
bitcoinmilliona:U can only tell them if u were asked. If u were not ask just keep quiet. Moreso they d'nt ask for other countries denial in the DS-160 form, what they only ask is if u av been denied visa for USA , then u state it for them. I have been previously denied UK visa 2011 and 2012 but USA pple no ask me if I was denied visa for any country in my DS-160. My colleague was denial visa for UK in 2015 and she quickly applied for USA with her daughter and she was given that year despite UK stamp the refusal in her passport, she was still given. Ps if I may ask did Canada stamp refusal in y passport? The VO can only see the refusal when he check y passport , that was why I asked if Canada stamp refusal for y passport? USA d'nt stamp sha, but I know that UK stamp. However the VO only check y passport as soon as soon as u get to him or when he ask u if u av travelled before, if u say yes, then he check the new and old passport. At the beginning when he ask for y passport, he might not check it. While they request for y passport at 1st is to enable them check y confirmation code to retrieve y D-160 application. During y check in to the embassy, they will stamp y confirmation code on y passport, so that is why they ask for y passport as soon as u get to Vo. They d'nt even look at y confirmation print out. Only the confirmation stamp on y passport. No need to tell the VO, except he sees it and ask. Just be calm and focus more on your USA interview and make sure u really fill the form well and work on y work details very well. They are more concern on y work, y years of expeience, duties and y salary. If u have any other issue u can ask or mail me. I will be glad to put u through everything because I will not like anybody to make silly mistake and y hard earn money goes like that. It is just silly mistakes and lack of knowledge that made most of us get visa denial. |
For businesses pple: if u have a good business for years, tell them how much u receive monthly and yearly in yr business (let the money make sense bc what this USA pple want is money) u are coming to their country to spend money. Then the number of staffs u have, how much u pay them. Make sure that u go with personal account not only the business account ( But atimes they d'nt check it) what counts in y business is the years the business av bin running. quote author=Joeblackdedon post=67334865]thanks so much, please can you throw more light on business people.
That is why USA are very strict in giving visa now. I was denial visa even with my travelling history. Ps for those applying for visa make sure u package your work experience very well. Years of experience u av bin in the job matters to them. Once they are not satisfied with years of experience, u are denied. Ps take note for every one applying for USA visa. Even if u changed job, tell them about your previous years of experience. They are not judging u beacuse u av a job, they evaluate u with years of experience ps. . |
I will advice u to please wait for 6months or one year. Give y self enof time. No rush into it before they say u are desperate. Arrange your self, parckage y self and do more research bf u apply ps. ![]() ]pls, how long advisably do some1 who is denied US visiting visa wait b4 applying again.
Friends come here and post their transcript which is very good but we really need to state in details of what the USA consulate really need from us. (Especially those applying for B1/B2 visa). Ps NOTE that USA visa application is very different from UK visa dear friends. UK will give u visa with six months payslips even if u just started the job, so far u are working and earning pay but for USA they are really interested in your job, y profession , years u av spent in the job (Stable job) , your experience in the job, the career u have build for your self, what your company does, reputable companies. They are really after it ps. Ties no be only family as we think o! Or u want to prove to them u av travel history. Lol! Did d'nt care atimes. Traveling history is just only a plus to y getting visa but not the main thing in evaluating. They know how u get money travel out? May be u did Yahoo Yahoo to travel out to build travel history. Lol! My friends they are really concerned about your job profile. They know u are coming to spent in their country so they av to be very sure u av a stable job. Earn decent salary, pension, leave allowance. For me this denial really open my eyes, it made me to really make more research and I really know best now. I was having the confidence with my years of traveling abroad that I will get it but I was denial. Lol. So I really have knowledge of what they are looking for. If u av a good job with pension running for years, knowing u will be paid y final entitiment after years of service why will u risk it and stay is USA as illegal migrants, so dear friends this is what they consider well ps. Do your homework well and make research bf u think of applying for USA. No be in a rush to apply, jot as many information u can from goggle. Read the thread from part1 to de end, no get tired reading it, I know it is very long. Yes read and jot out relevant things that will help y case. Not just read ps jot and make reference to it when filling y application. I will still make out time to keep posting relevant things that USA need not just for us to come here and post transcript and ask questions, or ways on how to apply for visa. Yes we ask questions and we get reply but some of us still get denial after going throught these thread. Meanehile all these is very good, I have to say we are really trying alot in these forum. But we should also create out time to research and educate our selves more to know exactly what the meaning of their strong ties and explain in details. We hear from people that for USA once u av a job apply without telling u details of what they need in job. Yes many have come to these thread read, without jotting down relevant points, armed u might read and forget. It happened to me. My advice get a pen start from page one of this thread, read and jot ps. Ask questions, tell pple to go through y application well bf u submit. Listen to pple advice atimes, especially from experience pple. No go just meet any body to assist u, meet experience plple not agent ps. But atimes there are some good agent ps. I had one but I did not really follow some of the corrections he gave me. I was thinking my own is best. Ps d'nt be over confident with y self. Meet pple who av appy bf to put u through. I repeat again USA is not the same with UK application. For those booking hotel reservation, it is good but they will still weight your job if the job can pay your hotel reservation. For point of contact yes, they said if u d'nt know any body put hotel. But come to think of it for me I will still advice applicants that have friends in the USA to use their point of contact but please make sure the person have a right stay in USA and how the person take come USA, Very important. Why am I saying this is that USA need someone that can void for u. Hotel reservation can not give details about u. Hotel reservation that doesn't even know u. Some of their numbers are not going. So I think that point of contact matters to them. Yes they tell u use hotel or the shop etc. But they still consider it. The only people I advice to use hotel reservation as point of contact is those that d'nt even know any body there. But many of us have pple in USA but we are afraid not to complicate issue. (we still lie here) lol! Yes I understand but for point of contact use them and book hotel as where u will stay. Then when the VO ask some of us questions we just make it short, I my self also did it from the advice I got from my friend, (Any thing the VO ask u just talk short) . Ps try to be friendly with them, make y interview fun not just stand there as a log of stick and keep answering short questions. Some of the VO might denial you visa bc of that even if u got all on u. When asked why going to the USA, ps if u are going alone try to tell them u are going for your annual leave vacation. Or I am going for my annual leave vacation and to do some shopping. Not just stand there and say tourism alone. Lol! They are human like us give them good reason u are going to usa. Yes some have mentioned only tourism and they were given but their discussion overall will be fun to the VO, all these they put into consideration to evaluate us but we d'nt know. We just hear people telling us just give short ans, all na lie. Are u single yes, come on! friends d'nt just say I am single lady at 40, tell them I am single and getting engaged soon. Expect u know u are single and working as a manger in a bank. Yes I know that some single ladies av gotten visa and never said engaged but after evaluating them generally both their job , they give them. My advice u are engaged ps. I am not here to tell u to lie. NO! But this is packaging. The way we package for job interview is the way we go ahead and do for USA ps. I d'nt see anything wrong in it. Yes people tell u not to lie without telling u how to state y issue. For example some one that I was discussing about not putting months, she asked if she was asked about her proof, I just advice her try to make sure that u tell the VO u have years of experience in y previous job. But meanwhile some one is there telling her not to lie, but never go ahead to tell her other details. Ps if u are new in a job make sure u tell the VO about your previous work with years not months of experience ps. For those applying for 1st time in a new job and no previous job experience, ps I will advice u to wait for one year before u apply. Not after 6months of job confirmation u apply. No! Make sure u apply after one year u are employed, at least they will know u av stayed for one year and entitled for leave allowance. Applicants can only renew visa as they start a new job bc in the privious interview they stated their past employment and beside they VO knows they av gone to USA and come bk so they give they immediately when there is no problem of overstaying. But new applicants for the first time are really checked very well. For married when asked why are u not traveling with your husband just tell them he is unable to get leave from work. For your hubby too they will ask u what he is doing and years of working for y hubby. USA people like big things o! No tell them say y hubby na trader. Lol! That one done reach to disqualify u. Lol! Arrange y hubby profile too incase he is not going with u. Lift y hubby up for them. No put y hubby for yeye way. Those USA people like big things. I de draw Una ear O! They no want who will come and follow them to share their national cake. Or to tell them that your hubby is not working currently. Lol u are on y own. Make them to know u av a good job with y hubby. Lift Una job up. Lastly this people don't check documents o! So na wetin u fill and y interview they will judge u with. So friends package your self well and go take y visa ps. Friends told me on what to say when I get there but fear fear make me loss out. Say the correct things but package your self. Why u want to go to USA package y self like I have really had a hectic work stress this year and I decided to go for my annual vacation in the USA. That one no be packaged (lol) even if u never had hectic time at work. Make y interview fun abeg. Sorry dear friends for this long message. It will really go along way to educate new applicants ps. USA visa is easy to get when u do y home work well. I thank God I have gone and know my mistakes and working hard on it and not to allow others to make the same mistake. Lesson learnt for my first visa application. Never be over confident that u will get the visa bc u av plenty travel history. People tell u no worry with your traveling history they will give u without telling u what USA people really want. Lesson2 try to be friendly to the VO. Vo: Goodmoring, tell him good morning and how is work? It makes their day. Lesson3 : no just stand there as log of wood just answering yes or no without been smart to tell the VO why yes or no. Because VO no know wetin De y mind, na de thing u tell them they juge u with. Never assume he surpose to know. Explain to him. Moreso this person tell u say I did not do this doing my own or did not mention this. Try to package your self ps. Leave other people and and do y package for your own self. Anything u know that can implicate u remove it, no allow anybody tell u put it because u must be honest at all time. No! Me I d'nt agree to that. The only thing I know d'nt lie on y age, your profile just parckage y self well and go pick y USA visa |
U mentioned 5months in your application abi? Which I am not sure the 5months appears on your DS-160 when u printed it out. What u were asked in y application is start date of work not how long u stay. I noticed it that when I printed my application I did not see the start date on it, only what i saw was how much I earn. So I am not sure the VO did not see it, probably that is why they keep asking applicants how long they av bin working. Were u asked by the VO how long you have been working? U only mentioned it in your application. For the 50k u earn, what year did u apply for this visa? Where u the one sponsoring your self or u had a sponsor? For my own advice to other applicants ps make sure u have been in the job for years. Even if u mentioned months to them, make sure u tell them that u have been in your previous job for years with that they will know u av earn and save lot for the trip. That was the mistake I made without telling the VO that i av worked for years in my previous work. My current job is 5months which I mentioned in my application. I don't know where people get all these ideas from. My 1st visa i was earning 50k monthly and was stated clearly on my form still I got my visa. Been to the UK only once in 2006 and yet I got it. The OP mentioned 5years and above, was just trying to debunk that assumption.
