Rubyventures:But he said the money belongs to the hubby. He did not steal it, the money was paid in his account. She only said that the hubby explained to her that his credit history is very bad bc of that fruad that was tag on him and the hubby said he has no criminal records, that he has been aving a good criminal record that is been sent to him every month. The hubby av been working as permanent staff and she said that the bank stuff happend around 2015. |
Rubyventures:I mean £40,000. No I asked her why is her hubby not doing the permanent job again, she said that he resigned and pick up agency work because he compared his friend that is doing agency work with his permanent job and found out that the friend makes more than him every month. She said the hubby is been paid £1200 at the hospital he works why his friend that does agency do correct £3000 every month, so the hubby was shocked and decided to resign and pick agency work to earn more. I still asked her if there are jobs to cover the agency monthly salary, she said hubby told her yes, that he works like jaki every day. Lol |
marylandcakes:Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I was asking her she kept crying and said is something relating to money that was sent to the hubby in the bank. she made mention of £40,000 that was sent to his account, the hubby withdraw some and next time he went to collect the money his account was frozen and he was tag fruad Star in his credit fille so since then it has been very difficult for the hubby to rent an apartment. I keep asking, how did the money came about, she said it was 2ru business, so i will just advice her to tell her hubby to get one room apartment so that she can visit with her 6months visa. Because she said the hubby keepd saying that no one is allowed to share one room in uk with y spouse, I got confused and said but here in Nigeria couple can share one room even with their kids. Well for the agency job I will talk to her about it. But agency job is the same thing like contract job here in Nigeria and payslips are been given right? So does it mean with agency job the hubby can not fill for her? People that apply for spouse visa must their hubby av a permanent job? Can one not apply with agency job for permanent stay and spouse visa application? Ps kindly let me know. I am indeed feeling for her |
Ps dear friends, a friend of mine that the hubby lives and works in the UK said, the hubby is unable to get accomodation beacuse of he has a very bad credit history which has made it very difficult for him to get an apartment because of this issue my friend said she is unable to visit her husband. I advised her to tell her hubby to look for one room self apartment so that she can visit but she said the hubby refused her coming to stay in one room apartment with him, that it is against the law. She has been so sad. Ps I want to ask how difficult it is for one to rent apartment with bad credit? If it is very difficult how can one rent with bad credit Does it mean that the hubby can not rent again? Ps I need advice. Moreso she complained that the hubby is not doing his permanent job again, he now changed to agency job. His reasons is beacuse they pay agency staff well than permanent staff, ps how true is that? The hubby works as health care assistant in the hospital. Is health care assistant really a good job, because she complained to me that they d'nt pay him well. Ps dear friends I need y advice to really know how I can talk to her. |
zakmus:Yep! Use one stone to kill two birds |
Oluwo1:Change it from your DS-160 before u submit your application |
isholapeter9:Go to booking.com and book your hotel and goggle for itinerary. |
TheCongo2:If u ask me na who I go ask? it is the way I saw it on browser news. Probably they checked their traveling ticket at airport and saw new York, base on the information given in the application. |
opomulero:1. No, confirmation letter will not affect it but, if u d'nt av it no problem , it is just that it helps atimes if u are applying as an employee of a company. If u av a good HR in y organisation he/she should be able to write confirmation letter for u after 6months probation. Let the HR check y staff fille and calculate 6months u joined the company and write the letter, if it is not possible u can leave it, your employment letter, payslips will cover it. 2. Your 2M depends on how long u will stay in the UK. FGN bond certificates, TBills certificate and other investment certificates are what u will fill when asked if u av other savings or investment. The most important thing is showing a good comprehensive statement of account with a good closing balance. The ECO wants to see your total budget in your account and the remaining amount to show that u av something to fall bk on when u guys return. So u av to do a good mathematics here. Your statement of account is preferable. 3. If tax certificate is not available no problem but , note that, if there is no tax deduction stated in your payslips, it will lead to refusal. UK are really concerned with your tax deduction, they d'nt joke with it, so it is compulsory u must av it stated in y payslips. 4. Letter of invitation is not compulsory if u d'nt av any one inviting u guys. All u need to do is go to booking.com and book hotel for duration of stay and print out from y email. U will take it along with u when u want to submit y documents, it serves as proof of accomodation. 5. Landed properties ps. If u no get am no problem. 6.yes of course, it is one of the widely used for booking hotels 7. U can not book for flight reservation until your visa is approved. |
opomulero:Get all your documents ,incase u are working provide the details:- Employment letter Confirmation letter 6months pay slips Letter of introduction from office stating that he is going on his annual leave 6months comprehensive statement of account with good balance. Staff ID card Pension statement of account for 6months Tax clearance certificate Letter of invitation. National ID card Marriage certificate Pictures of u and wife, wedding pictures And any other documents like properties. Book hotel reservation or letter of invitation If u are doing biz provide every documents for y business. Visit the UK web site register as new user and fill in correctly questions asked. When u av finished filling the application, make payment on line with credit card, schedule appointment and go submit in location u prefer . For packaging of the application, u will be the sponsor, give correct informations about u and wife, calculate very well the budget u and y wife will spend in the UK. Any other sources of income u earn monthly should be stated clearly well in addition information or cover note . All d best |
sweetgold5:I feel u. There are complications on u using single in y application. The reason is that ,y old passport is using y median name and new passport hubby surname. Moreso, during the time u will submit and fill application, u will be asked about y previous visit to the UK and u will also make copies of photocopies of previous visa and passport page along with application. If the ECO sees the old and new passport is aving different surname this raise eye ball that u are married. 2. Another is the birthday cerificate of y child. The father's address and signature is on the birth certificate. Another problem 3. If u are using single ps note that on y court marriage certificate , the date of marriage will be checked during y the process of y spouse visa. Bc it is court marriage certificate that ECO prefers than church cerificate. For example if u claim u are single 2018 and during y spouse visa process ECO finds out y marriage certificate date was 2015. This will make the ECO refuse y spouse visa application. The only soln u can apply as single is if y passport is still in y median name , then u av not done court marriage, that is what can help u to apply as single, then when y hubby is ready to file for u guys he comes down to Nigeria and do court marriage. For me I will advice you to go with @justwise advice to avoid future problem in processing y spouse visa. |
bigbus:Thanks. Noted |
Godchangemylife:Since y dad is going with y mum, he will be the sponsor. I will advice him to have total of 3M or 4M in his account, showing the budget of all he will spend with y mum in the UK for 4wks and some money to be left in his account to show what he will fall bk on when they come bk home. For the budget , he should calculate the flight fare for two, estimate of 560 or 600k, living expenses incase they will not like to fully depend on his friend ,ticket money for sight seeing, transport and shopping. The requirements he needs as a civil servant are:- Employment letter Confirmation letter (incase he had it) 6months pay slips Letter of introduction from office stating that he is going on his annual leave 6months comprehensive statement of account with good balance. Staff ID card Pension statement of account for 6months Tax clearance certificate Letter of invitation. Marriage certificate And any other documents like properties. others can contribute ps |
NeyofeedNigEnt:Ps u will pay the visa fees as family and fill their details in y own profile. Then book appointment. The DS-160 is filled separately. For the interview read the thread from part 1-3. U will get likely questions. All the best |
NeyofeedNigEnt:U will pay the visa fees as a family and the DS-160 sperately for each person. Kindly go through this thread from 1-3 |
Godchangemylife:1. How many weeks does y dad want to spend in the UK? 2. What does he do for a living? 3. Does y mum av a visa already? 4. Is he going to stay in a hotel or his friend's house? |
justwise:Thanks @Justwise I forgot that the child is a citizen. I was calculating for her and the child. Thanks for the correction. |
sweetgold5:Well @Adumii has really hit the nail. There are so many things that will complicate issues on y application, so many questions will arrise when taking decision on y application. You said y uncle is sponsoring y visit, and y hubby stays in the UK as permanent resident, then why is he not sponsoring u and his child? This will raise eye ball and ECO will doubt the possibility of u coming bk.The decision will be base on:- That y hubby could av apply for spouse visa for u but, may be he is not able to meet the spouse visa requirements base on his financial level in the UK bc he has to be earning about £22,000 to fill for u and his child and if he does not earn dat, it will be difficult to fill for u guys and this can make them to take decision that u might not come bk. I could av prefer that, he applys for spouse visa for u, if he meets the requirements Or u apply and be the person that will sponsor y self or y hubby sponsor y trip if u guys av good job with monthly pay and comprehensive statement of account that will cover yr visit with y child , then yr hubby can write a cover note to explain that he is really missing his family and will like them to spend some weeks with him this summer, he wishes to apply for spouse visa for u next year but meanwhile he will like u guys to visit him for a short stay and conclude that, u guys will definitely leave UK after y stay. He can attach letter of invitation, statement of account, payslip. Also show attached pictures of u and hubby, kid, wedding pic and other pictures u are together. Since y spouse visa might take a while u guys can visit. I d'nt see anything wrong in visiting y hubby in the UK if he has a legal status. This is my advice , others can also add their own contributions. |
tiamiyukunle69:They d'nt check any documents or statement of account but still carry it bc u will not know the VO that will interview u and demand for it. |
sweetgold5:Yes u av to include it that u are visiting y hubby. When u start filling the form and if asked are u married, which is YES , then u will be asked to provide details of y hubby and if he is living with u or not, if NO, u are asked to provide address were he is staying. U can see that, u av to tell the truth here bc if u lie, it will affect y future spouse application. They store every documents. More so u will be asked in the application if u know anybody in the UK and their status, u will state y hubby and uncle since they all av their permanent stay. U will also be asked if u will visit any of them, u will have to state yes. Yes, your hubby av to write a consent letter and scan his passport and the permanent resident stamp in his passport and email it to u. |
IsraelBabs:Lol! No go show the VO u are desperate for visa otherwise na blue paper. Lol If u av gone through the thread from 1-3, u will see likely questions. VO no care about y invitation letter. Just make sure u know the person inviting u, the status, how long the person has stayed in USA , what the person does, and how did the person come to USA. Make sure u demonstrate y ties well. If u are single and if it is y job that is y tie ps demonstrate it well for VO. Know what u do for a living, how long u av bin working there. (Make sure that u av years of experience and even if u are new in y work mention the previous employment for the VO, know the duties of y job. Know the purpose of visit and goggle interesting places u will like to visit in the state u are going. Pray and fast for God's grace. All the best |
sweetgold5:My advice since y hubby have gotten his Indefinite leave to remain (ILR) or permanent residency (PR) ps indicate in your application that u are going to visit y hubby, this will even boost y spouse application when y hubby is ready to fille for u and yr kid, atleast the consulate officer will know that u av been visiting y hubby. Put y hubby address, indicate the status he has and even attached copies of his passport and residential stamp. If u say he reside in Nigeria it will affect y spouse application in future. Since y hubby has a permanent stay in the UK no need to be afriad, the consulate officer will not denial u visit bc u want to visit y hubby. |
DebsMed:1. There is no any effect the 3months will have on him. The duration of his stay as a visitor is 6months, It is when he over stays after 6months,then he will have trouble. My last vacation to uk last year I stayed 3months with my 2years visa. I came bk and renewed for 5years, when asked to state how long I stayed in my various visits. I stated 3months and the purpose of visit was for vacation and the last visit was 11days on vacation. 2. Please let him d'nt complicate issues on his application by saying he received medical treatment. My advice just tick NO, inorder not to complicate issue. I received medical treatment, I had various GP appointments during my 3months stay and I never paid but when asked in my recent application, I tick NO bc I d'nt want to complicate issues for my self. This days I am not sure, if visitors are allowed to receive FREE medicals. The choice is yours, if u want to click YES, get ready to explain and submit receipts of medical treatment. There is no any trouble he will encount if he ticks NO. My advice just tick NO. 3. Your father in-law is financially able to sponsor him self, with all these u mentioned, there is hope for him. All he needs to do is place all his financial documents together, that includes the houses for rent, all statements of accounts, including pension he should go ahead and apply for 5years, this will save him the stress of applying every year especially if he is a frequent traveler. The 5years visa goes for N321,00 |
UC News US Embassy Cancel Visa Already Issued To 10 Nigerians For Trying To Claim Asylum In Canada 2018/05/22 19:22:59gistmania.com It has to come to this before Nigerians pay any seriousness to this issue, most Nigerians are now getting a visit, conference, study (just any kind of visa to land them into the USA) and try to get to the Canadian border to cross into Canada and claim Asylum, the numbers grew so much that the Canadian government had to raise an official petition to the US government to tackle the problem at the source - Which is what the US embassy in Nigeria is doing. The report is that some Nigerians (10 of them) were already granted visas and were ready to travel, but were stopped at the MMA before they board their flights and told to see the consulate at the US embassy, where there visas were subsequently cancelled because they were travelling towards New York, which is the closest city to cross to canadian border on arrival - this arouse the suspicion of the US officers. See the full gist below: **because they were travelling towards New York, which is the closest city to cross to canadian border on arrival - this arouse the suspicion of the US officers..** For those applying to new York or other states close to border, think twice and change your location. |
ebonmic:Note:- It is not all small scale business in Nigeria that are registered ps. If u d'nt av all the proof, the little u have state it clearly well. All my applications I did, i explain 2 the consulate officer that apart from my permanent job I also run a teaching program during my weekend and I get some of my extra income from it. Aleast I get 100k monthly. My clients pay me in cash or they pay into my account. The business was not registered, the only thing I attached as proof was my degree certificate showing I am teaching the course I studied at uni, then i made a business profile for it and my visa was approved. This is a one man business and not all that are registered. Since u av a store, and y customers pays into y account, make a small profile of y store and state there what u sell and how much u sell them. U can state that y younger sister runs it week days and u assist during y weekend and public holidays, if u av receipt of goods sold attached it as proof. |

Lee310:No worries. Cheers ![]() |
tolman061:1. There is no need changing y name. The name u will use in the application form is the name on your recent passport. If the passport is bearing y madien name that is what u will use, if it is bearing y hubby name u use it. The instruction given on the application form is input the name as it appears on y passport. 2.if u go through this tread well (from part 1-3) u will see similar questions the VO asked applicants that av the same honeymoon vacation like u. Likely questions :- VO will like to know the purpose u are traveling. Just tell VO that u and hubby are going for honeymoon, u just had y wedding and u choose to visit USA to enjoy y moon. The VO can ask u were u are working, position, duties, monthly salary, how long u av been working in the bank. The VO can also ask u about y hubby, tell him he has a visa already, carry a photocopy of hubby visa or u take his passport with u to interview. VO can ask about y hubby job.The VO may ask if u and hubby av travel together. May ask why u choose to travel to USA for moon, may ask tourist attractions u will like to visit. 3. No body can tell u the chances of getting visa only the VO knows. Some people av testify getting visa with no travelling history. However for y hubby aving travelled to USA i think that can also help. The old name on y passport does not matter. Just parpare very well and pray. All the best |
Femipac:I am not sure they will know that u fill another form. The application form they will use is the one u presented the barcode on the day of interview. Just make sure that the barcode is the same with de schedule appointment. Others can also contribute ps |
Femipac:I want denial beacuse of insufficient ties or that the VO was not satisfied with my ties. I believe my circumstances av improved, my role at work has changed and my salary has improved. 2. The double refusal will not affect y chances of getting visa. Just prepare your self well. 3. I d'nt really get question 3. Some1 else can assist ps |
drealsmile:If u av been going through this thread u will see the list of documents u need. Ps try to go through it, u will really gain alot. The detail list of documents: Schedule appointment Ds-160 confirmation page Payment receipt Passport valid for 6months Other supporting documents ( but atimes they d'nt ask it but just carry Incase.) |
it is the way I saw it on browser news.
. I had just a single travel history to India before my refusal but i have strengthen that by visiting Abu dhabi after i was refused.
