vaticanboy:Hi , have you also check on the UK website to verify if all the buttons have changed to green?.. When you log in your application there is a place you can track your application, have you check to verify that all buttons are now green. |
vaticanboy:Yes I did oooo. |
[quote author=vaticanboy post=106984284]I wish it's possible to help check on my app for you. Before now what I always saw was the two green ticks ,notifying me that my application had been sent to VAC and also been transferred to DMC.[/quote Thanks for your care word. On the UK on line application for TLS I see it when I click on track but on the app is saying rubbish. I pray we that are waiting , we hear good news this waiting. |
missgirl:I just downloaded the TLS app, I put in my data, it keep saying sorry we can not find application with this data pls check your spelling. I am getting tired of this waiting honestly. Pls what message do you get when you check the app before. Thank you |
vaticanboy:Think +ve. It is yes for you. Provided no refusal letter sent to you. It is yes!!! Congratulations. Omg! Have mercy on us to get our own this week. I am still waiting oooo. The trackers have not change yet, still in red |
vaticanboy:Congratulations . So happy for you |
Aduke007:1.Appendix2 is not compulsory. i did not submit it. 2. No not necessary. just print out for your copy or download and save for future applications. 3. copy pictures of you and your partner, wedding pictures, pictures with both family. copy it, paste on word and write details of all pictures. i.e picture taking in Nigeria with my partner in 2003. etc. after that save it and convert it to pdf. just make sure it is 5mb, because if it is more, the application will not upload it. you can also reduce it by using ilovepdf. |
stefanimay:u can only get a new passport when your passport has expired OR about to expire in two months. I am not sure if they will agree to renew it. The settlement visa is two and half years, but as far as the passport is valid for six months, you can apply and when you get to the UK, u can renew it. Still check if it is possible for you to renew. If it is possible better for you, than renewing in the UK with their stress |
Dan45:I pray so. Thank u |
missgirl:Please what email did u use. and what was their response? Thanks |
Please who has the paid e-mail where I can make an inquiry about my application. Thank you |
vaticanboy:Amen ooooo!!! |
Dan45:month of August

missgirl:Once is 60 WD, we will have to start sending emails. God, please have mercy. I just want rest of mind , the panic is too much |
OMG! I am becoming impatient, this waiting is not easy at all, it is really killing me softly. when are we going to hear from dem ![]() ? at least they should show mercy. |
Hello house is it compulsory to mention in one's application, that one will be travelling to other Schengen countries? If one did not mention it in the France application cover letter, can the person still travel to other Schengen countries when the person gets the France visa? Thank you for your response. |
Adewumi2888:ok. Thank you. Your waiting working days was just 51 WD. From 3rd August - 12 October Bravo!! |
Adewumi2888:Pls what date did you state you will be traveling on your application |
Adewumi2888:When will your visa start reading, I learnt it is 3months. so your own is from which month to which month is your deadline to enter UK. |
Adewumi2888:Wow!!!!!! congrats! felicitation! Congratulation! Bravo! so happy for you. To God be the glory now and forever. |
Adewumi2888:God have mercy on us all to get good news soonest! As far as you did not receive any rejection mail, so your visa is approved. congrats. so happy for you |
Adewumi2888:wow! congrats dear. Positive news ooooo. When did you go for biometric? |
Adeolubunmi:please send your post to https://www.nairaland.com/5233246/general-uk-visa-enquiries-part/602#106682274. that is where you can get responses. here is just for UK spousa visa |
goosebumps:Yes the valid IELTS general will suffice. For HND , I am not sure if it will suffice, because NARIC requires degree that was taught in English. Pple who have spouses that do not have formal education need to practice on line the IELTS test and seat for the A1 as beginners, but if they speak English well, they go for B1 which takes them to further applications in the UK. They only need to do IELTS if no formal education |
Nchabuomo:Many thanks for your response |
Good morning house, if someone has a two years UK visa and will like to travel to the UK in December 2021 and also want to travel to France around Feb next year. For the UK visit, the person is intending spending two months in the UK and also travel to France. E.g will be traveling to the UK end of December and will stay in the UK from Jan and Feb ending, so he is intending to travel to France around Feb by train from the UK. My question is if the person can apply for a France visa around December and state the traveling time in Feb next year, can they agree to give the person the visa for that Feb next year OR they will like the person to travel within the time the person applied? My second question is how will the person book flight ticket since the first travel is to the UK first and from the UK take a train to France. how can one book a flight that can convince France visa officer? kindly advise, please. Many thanks for your responses. |
missgirl:Patience and being positive is just the medicine to this waiting. All the best to us this month ijn |
georgesegun87:Thank you. Do you have anybody's contact I can reach |

headhoncho:They are three process u can go about it. 1. Marriage visa allows you to come to uk, get married and come bk to home country and apply for spousa visa of 2.5 years. The marriage visa is a case where your wife can not come to Nigeria or you guys feel like getting married abroad. As soon as you get the marriage certificate, you go through the process of spouse visa if all requirements are met. The other one is spouse visa where you both got married in home country in registry and apply for the visa having meet all requirements. U get a 2.5 years visa, u have permission to work. After 2.5 you go through the process of Further leave to remain for 2.5 years, then indenfite leave to remain and British citizen. The fiancé visa is when u are engaged and want to get married. The visa doesn't need marriage certificate because u are going to uk to get married and apply for spousa visa. All you need to show is evident that you have been friends and intention to apply for fiancé visa with all the supporting documents to show that you want to get marry. Evidence like the registry you will use, just something to show proof of marriage. For the fiancé visa your sponsor need to meet all requirements like the financial requirement, accommodation, You need to write IELTS test, or if you have a degree taught in English u apply for naric and TB. The fiancé visa you are given six months to enter UK and get married, as you come to uk, get married and apply for spousa visa which u will get 2.5 years. The fiancé visa u are just given six months, u can't work with it. Also in fiancé visa you don't pay for IHs , only payment is visa fees. But when you want to apply for spousa visa in the UK ,u pay the IHS. Fiancé visa route is quiet expensive BC you are paying double the visa fees. |
