They have. You need to be fully vaccinated though, if your sole purpose is tourism
For the visa application you don't need vaccine certificate, only when you are traveling, is that right?

BC I called their customer service, they said no vaccine certificate required for application, but they might require it for traveling

Hello friends,
My UK visa expired in May and I returned back to Nigeria. Now I got a job (3 years contract), to resume early August. My employers have given me every thing needed for the visa application. When completing the visa application, tuberculosis test certificate appeared among the required documents for Nigerians. However, someone said if you've been away from the UK less than 6 months, this is not required for you to re-enter. I would have done it just to be sure, but the available TB test dates on the website are too far and would only make me miss the job.
I want to know if anyone has been able to travel and was allowed into the UK without the TB test. Or any other helpful advice. Thanks.
I know a friend that applied for fiancé visa, she came bk from UK three months and she quickly applied for fiancé visa without the tuberculosis test.

But just to be at a safer side, do the TB.

Only what you need to do is to keep calling them, send mail and tell them how urgent it is, they will respond and give you a date immediately.

Hello everyone,
Its been quite refreshing going though all the threads.

I have a question as I didnt see this in the threads I read. I am living in the UK with the kids for 2 years now, hubby is the only one in Nigeria and I was wondering if I can be his sponsor. My children have presettled status, I have resident permit which expires in 2024. My sis is my sponsor, we came through the EEA family permit.

My question is can I apply for spouse visa for my husband. I have a job and meet the threshold. We have been married for over 12 yrs now and havent seen each other in 2 years.

Your advise will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
If you have a resident permit, u can apply for your hubby under British rules.

You will need to have met the financial requirement of 18,600 pounds.
You will have to know the category you will fall under with the kind of job you do.
There are different categories, CAT A for the salaried job and non-salaried jobs fall under CAT A, CAT B means when you are combining from different jobs and CAT F is for self-employed.
Are you working as permanent staff, or self-employed? As soon as you know the CAT you belong to, it will help you.
You will need to meet the accommodation requirement
Prove of marriage, marriage certificate, pictures and communications
Your hubby has to the IELT exams or Naric to prove his use of English
Hubby has to do TB which expires after six months. ( I will advise that he do it when you are ready to apply for him)
For the visa fees and IHS, you will need to have the money for it, the amount is close to $5,000 for all the payment of visa fees + IHS
TB - N55,700 and IELT is close to 80k.

Hi, I tried to do it for my husband, they won’t let you apply till after the 9th June when their borders open for tourism. You will also have to show that you’ve been fully vaccinated (2 doses) to be able to go their for tourism.

Hey guys!!
it is a wonderful work you are doing here. I got married to my wife who has a PR in UK last week and I have started my application. but i got some questions.

1. We got married in Lagos and we are currently in Lagos, but I based in Abuja. can I do my Tuberculosis test in Lagos and still apply for Visa application in Abuja? or tuberculosis must be in Abuja? I will resume back to work when I return to Abuja and I may not be chanced.
2. In my Personalized checklist, they Did not add proof of accommodation, is that normal?
3. How much is Tuberculosis test in payment now, that dollar is fluctuating?
4, will i go to TLS before or after submission of my application ?
My advice from experience. Abuja is far better than Lagos.
Do your TB in Abuja because in Lagos you will be stress up and you will not be able to get appointment for the TB. Abuja is orgainsed in getting appointment for TB. I am still struggligling to get an appointment here in lagos.

No.4 After your application , you go to TLS to take your biometric.

Hey guys, plesse what type of IELTS is used for spouse visa application. I thought it was IElts UKVI, now I'm seeing IELTS life skill. Are they the same?

Also, my partner added he has degree certificate but he's not going to use it for proof of English because he has IELTS, but NARIC letter is still part of the document they said he should provide. Is this compulsory?
If he has done IELTS exam, it is ok. Only one is needed, either Naric or IELTS

Please what type of IELTS did you write?
The IELTS exams for UK spouse visa is the general one for settlement. It is written on it, .. choose the B1 exams. B1 is very good and can be used till indentifie leave. A1 is can only be used for the first two and half year. One still write again during the process for FLR. So choose B1.

Good day house, pls I need help.

my sponsor does a salary job which doesn't meet the financial requirements at the end of the year. He also do an uber job which makes him self employed ...my question is can he combine the uber job together with his salaried job..

And pls how do we go about it.
He can combine the both. he will fall under category A salaried and Cat A non-salaried. So what he gets in his non salaried, he will add it and multiply by 6 and then add it to the Cat A salary to get his annual salary.
