@Missing 89, I used to hold u in high esteem because of ur solid grasp of warfare complexities bt I am getting a whole nauseating view of who u truly re, try to be objective in ur thinking nd statements, don't be in support of things just because u want to spite some people who don't underpin ur line of reasoning or philosophy. |
Something is not just right about the recent surge in terrorists' attacks on European soil. One would think that with all the sophisticated and elaborate security networks that they have, they would be able to nip in the bud these attacks before they are carried out. But what do I really know? In Syria they classified some to be ''moderate terrorists" as if there was a word like that before now. These attacks might be false-flag operations with intent to deceive their populace and achieve a more sinister aim,vis a viz- keeping the people in a state of fear,arm-twisting the government of some countries. Lest I forget, isnt it the same ISIS they are working with in Syria to unseat the president or it's a whole different type? |
And what happened to all the recovered loots we have heard about a zillion times? Can't they be put to effective use now or have they been re-looted because nothing is impossible in our country! |
What did America lose that she is now looking for all over the world?I am very sure they must have lost something they are trying to retrieve or how can one explain this her level of poke-nosing into other people's affair? |
It would definitely be made of the fluffy strands of hair on his head the way a bird makes its nest. |
Life is ephemeral, do things that would speak good of you when you are no more because we will surely die Thanks for giving us a rap icon whose music has continued to live on despite his death twenty years ago. |
hmmmm, iconoclastic as in ----------,I don't get it's usage in the statement above and how it relates to the discussion. |
emmykk:Abeg my brother u ve simply stated d truth bt some people don't see or understand wat u re saying. One bottle of Orijin for u. Mind u,i am neither pro nor anti-Saraki bt i still ve a very strong conviction that he is representing some very powerful interests so that Presido doesnt rock d boat. |
Those who made it possible for Saraki to emerge as SP knew what they were doing, they know that Saraki has always had his hand in the cookie jar and they still made him SP, I believe they never truly trusted our Presido to keep to his own side of the bargain they struck before the elections. Hence Saraki and Dogara were made to emerge so as to check any body odor or smell from the president that they re not comfortable with,as we can all see from d budget imbroglio. With the way things are turning out,we are very sure of not getting anything tangible from this government of change. |
The dance steps wan change now from bata to Igede,Nigerians fasten ur seat-belts for u re in for a long nd tortuous journey of excuses galore. |
Abeg make we hear word jor, na who integrity nd sincerity of purpose don help for here, any sanctimonious posturing is not needed now, get to work Asap nd fix dis damn country nd make it work as u promised Hehenhen, d thing don dey clear for their eyes, uneasy lies d head dat wears d crown as they say,.No film trick inside, do things as u promise us say u wan do am wen una dey shout change, change.KAPISH. |
The kind of mind boggling amount politicians give as bribe can make one deaf, just imagine the clerk of the National Assembly giving out this kind of huge amount, I just hope the whole story is false bt If it is true it then goes to show the level of sleaze going on at the National Assembly. A mobile policeman once said even Buhari can't repair the country anymore ,he said Nigeria is way gone past redemption. May God help us as we continue to wait on the saviour with the midas touch to rescue us from thus calamity. |

una nor dey taya for propaganda, continue till your four years elapses, at every turn must u continue to vilify Jonathan's administration. His tenure has since ended and Nigerians knew some of these ills and that was why your party was voted into office . From these rantings and buck passing it is becoming increasingly clear that you guys were not ready for governance because it's meant for serious minded individuals. You were just obsessed with kicking Uncle Jona out. |
Fa fa fa foul, hmmmm dem don burn am, Naija I hail thee. |
Some people are just so funny that they must quote the whole write -up in order to get their points across, hmmmmm. They can't pick out the very salient points to post, sometimes you begin to wonder if they know what summary is all about or perhaps they didn't do summary in school at all. |
The kidnappers shouldn't just deceive themselves because the state of Osun have no shi -shi to pay as ransom, the state is so so broke right now that she cannot even meet her obligations to her own civil servants. |
Giving a piece of fish to the cat to keep, nice one. |
Hmmmmm, Mademoiselle you neva sheeee something. When Uncle Jona was there u did everything possible to disparage, discredit and frustrate his government, but has anything really changed yet? Or maybe an appointment will shut you up and keep you busy finally |
ValerianSteel:Must you be unabashedly supportive of anything America and her allies do, can't you just be objective for once or better still keep quiet when you are about towing your normal Pro-America line. America can't be right all the time, the reactions of some of these countries are as a result of the blowback of some America policies toward any country in their so called "axis of evil". |
hmmmmm, when will the freedom of information bill become operational in Lasgidi,i know they will dare not touch this area with the longest pole because it will expose their hypocrisy. So much for freedom of speech!!! |
Setting up a committee to look into the remote causes of the committee's accident and suggest ways of avoiding such incidents in future will soon follow ,Chai Naija I hail thee. |

Appleyard:Mr.Man,where have you been all these days?..I do hope you are back for good with those enlightening topics and comments of yours. |
rassan:And this is the problem with most Nigerians, the NTA he gave to us then and what we have now are clearly different, the quality has been dropping since he left. We are always quick to attack the harbinger of a message without considering how salient the message is,one of APC's manifestoes was the 5000 naira they promised the unemployed youth, elections are over and they being taken to task on redeeming their promise and all you contributed was that funny statement. We must learn to hold our politicians accountable for their electoral promises if not they will continue to ride rough shod over us. |
I guess it was ok with u guys when the likes of Sanusi and madam Ezekwesili were running down Uncle Jona's government. Now the roles have been reversed ,,APC are on the hot seat and all of a sudden they don't want to be criticized..... You must be take criticisms in your stride after all they say "uneasy lies the head that wears the crown"So stop behaving like hypocrites. |
NairaMinted:So Mr Valeriansteel,,are you subtly supporting the rubbish the U.S have been doing in Syria over these years with no concrete achievement to show for their involvement.Did you not hear about those brand new Toyota trucks used by the terrorists, my question is how did they come about the trucks, the U.S are trying to take out a smaller evil(Assad) using a bigger evil(the terrorists),then few years from now if they succeed the whole of Syria would be a war zone just like it happened in Iraq. We were told that Saddam Hussein had nuclear/weapons of mass destruction but alas what happened when the Allied forces got to Iraq ,they saw no such thing and it became clear that George bush jnr.only came to finish off what his father started and since then Iraq has not remained the same.Arabians don't need democracy, they will misuse the freedom that comes with it as we are seeing in Libya, another country that was doing fine before the U.S exported their democracy there. I am not a fan of Putin but the Americans have not told the truth why they are so much interested in getting Assad out ,he is a legitimate president and unfortunately there is nothing they can do about. Will the U.S take it lightly with any country that tries to subvert her legitimacy under any guise. There are so many instances of their double standards which will make you want to puke if you are able to read between the lines, their real intentions are never known or made known to the citizenry of the 'benefiting' nation until they have been hard hit.So much for being the ' World police' |
THE U.S OF A,RUN RUN THERE IS A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN.ON MANY OCASSIONS WHEN THERE WERE TOPICS LIKE THIS,SO MANY PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM HYPER-VENTILATED ON HOW THE U.S WOULD DO THIS AND DO THAT TO RUSSIA BUT WHERE ARE THEY NOW,THIS AIN'T LIBYA OR IRAQ.BRING THE GAME ON. |
Yoruba and Hausa Alliance, that formidable togetherness that's sending shivers down the spine of some people! Africa's richest man with Africa's best political strategist! Oya!!! In response to all the plaudits the Yoruba folks were giving to Tinubu just after the election that saw Muhammadu Buhari defeat Uncle Jonathan........ I posted this; "Keep deceiving yourself,in sane climes people like Tinubu should be behind bars but this is Nigeria where a lot of absurdities happen. And as for the Yoruba and Hausa formidable alliance, you know like they say those who ride on the back of a tiger always end up in the stomach. There abound examples of how the hausas treat you guys with disdain, the case of M.K.O Abiola comes to mind easily, also the case of very senior military officers of yoruba extraction that were rounded-up for coup planning under General Abacha but at last it came to be known that they were removed so as to pave way for another northerner to take over from Abacha because the Oligarchs knew what was to befall Abacha. After the civil war,the military was structured in such a way that coup planning and execution by soldiers of a particular extraction are difficult but you guys were sold a dummy and you all fell for it so much that your traditional rulers were falling over themselves to get to Abuja and see the tape where Diya was purportedly on his knees begging Major.Al Mustapha. General Oladipo Diya was to be executed,he had been taken to an unknown destination to be wasted but for the cries of well meaning Nigerians he was later released. The northerners are always using u guys to balance the equation in Nigeria's game of power play.Alliance my foot!!!" And this was even way before the 8th National Assembly was inaugurated......Truth is the yorubas will never learn and they keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again hence the reason why they are in this mess. They have made their bed and so be it..................................................... |
A lot of our lawmakers like playing to the gallery or how can one explain the statement made by Senator Gbenga Ashafa asking the senate to urge the government to revamp the existing refineries and make them functional when actually rehabilitation has since commenced and they will soon become operational anytime soon albeit not at maximum capacity. In the lower house we might still have another honorable member saying something similar and at the end of the month they get paid for doing absolutely nothing other than sitting in the hallowed chambers to sleep, exchange banters and discuss how to feather their nests. There is not even any form of synergy between the the two chambers, between them and other federal government parastatals because if there was there would be no need for all these endless repetitions. |
POLITICIANS THE WORLD OVER ARE THE SAME THING. WITH ELECTIONS AROUND THE CORNER,THEY BECOME LOVEY DOVEY AND ARE READY TO KISS YOUR ASS SO AS TO GET YOUR VOTES.I GUESS WE NOW KNOW OGA JONA DID NO WRONG RUNNING TO CHURCHES TO SEEK FOR VOTES, MAYBE HE SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE MOSLEMS AND TRADITIONALISTS AS WELL. |
Those who ride on the back of a tiger always end up in the stomach. There abound examples of how the hausas treat the yorubas with so much disdain, the case of M.K.O Abiola comes to mind easily, also the case of very senior military officers of yoruba extraction that were rounded-up for coup planning under General Abacha but at last it came to be known that they were removed so as to pave way for another northerner to take over from Abacha because the Oligarchs knew what was to befall Abacha. After the civil war,the military was restructured in such a way that coup planning and execution by soldiers of a particular extraction are difficult but the yorubas were sold a dummy and they all fell for it so much that the traditional rulers from the south west were all falling over themselves to get to Abuja and see the tape where Oladipo Diya was purportedly on his knees begging Major.Al Mustapha and weeping,it was also reported that Abacha handed him a handkerchief to wipe his tears between sobs. Never forgettting the fact that Diya was lucky not to have been blown up by a bomb that was planted in a plane he was supposed to fly in some weeks earlier when Abacha was still alive. When this failed,he was to later be roped into a phantom coup supposedly planned by him and his kinsmen in the military to wrestle power from Abacha. General Oladipo Diya was to be executed,he had been taken to an unknown destination to be wasted but for the cries of well meaning Nigerians he was later released. The northerners are always using the yorubas to balance the equation in Nigeria's game of power play. M.K.O Abiola rode on the back of a tiger and hence he was consumed by it,he was too close to the military for comfort and so they felt threatened because he knew too much about them. |
