ur case cant be rested till ur purge ur mind of backward ideas use in 1500...the Europeans where also in the same thinking category as u 500 years ago ...innocent women where killed on trump up charges of been witches that why we have the word WITCH HUNT a false accusations...when those society couldn't explain out break of cholera and measle and leprosy the taught it was caused by one loney quiet reseverd old woman with red eyes ...they later found out it was virus after several mass murders againt allege wictches Africans are till encapsulated by this nonsense ideas of fly women ...ghost and still think mental disorder popular called madmen in african are winches r or possed by spirits but it can be treated it just depression the akwa ibom baby winch throw on the streets by your type has been rehabilated by a denmark aid worker and it schooling in europe by god grace he will become a doctor and it testimony in those churches nig ltd [/quote. I am not saying there might not be been "false accusations "in some instances bt all I am saying is that u can't just negate their existence with a waive of the hand just because u ve not experienced or seen it. |
There are 7 billion people on earth and I have met many people so far but I have never seen or heard of any whose soul travels ..I have seen thousand of people travel by road , by air , by water but I have never met a soul traveller..have you met any? Let me give some instances, for example u were given some money and nobody knew any thing abt it bar just u nd d giver, nd it happened that dat u didn't even know how u exhausted the money, then u happen to ve someone related to u say sth like" the money that was given to u by Mr. so so was kept kept in a spiritual pit by us"wat would u think or do bearing in n mind that wen the money was given to u, nobody else knew abt it, or would u just waive it aside nd term it " high fever". In as much as this scenario sound outlandish nd hard time to believe, remember the key words re"nobody else knew abt the money nd here u ve somebody mentioning the name of the giver. With regards to this particular story that brought abt this debate, I know for sure that in Isoko land, once u re certified to be a witch u re dealt with. And in Itsekiri land wen the person dies, he /she is thrown into a wild forest, it's the normal practice, my question: is y would they bring such a law if witches don't exist? Even the eckists or so acknowledge it's existence because there was a programme that was aired on the radio sometime ago where one of their prominent members dwelled extensively on the topic, mind u these re educated folks also. |
Alikote:I rest my case, there is actually no need flogging a dead horse ,nd wat makes u feel the Japanese do not believe its existence, it just that they re able to channel it's usage into better nd creative ventures. Do u know anything abt "the great witches purge that happened in London some centuries ago"?and do u know there re still some parts of that city where it's still practised? I know If I mentioned the movie:Harry Porter",u would still say it's pure fiction. Once again I rest my case. |
PaulIdu:Sir:and u think u re actually using ur brain? Keep quite if u don't understand or know wat to say of sth, that u ve not encountered anything of such doesn't negate its existence. Answer these few questions :how are those who engage in soul -travel able to do so? and y did the Bible acknowledge its existence"? Kids that haven't seen anything in life come on Nairaland and say all kinds of jargon. Funny enuf, I was once like u and not until I started having another view abt life that my mentality changed. |
TheArchangel:Nor be only tumor or ascites, I say "just keep shut once again" if u don't know anything abt it. Nigerians re very funny, once u ve had a little education ,u start disproving the existence of things that even predate ur forebears. Just pray that u don't encounter them because the experience is not always palatable, even the bible acknowledged it's existence where it said" suffereth a witch not to live"and u re here ranting abt wat u know nothing abt, like the wind it can be felt bt not seen, nor be only ascites, na kwashiokor sef. U might have a pastor u trust so much, try asking him abt their existence ,it's just that the Almighty Father is greater and much more powerful and so basically we act like they re not there because if u act otherwise it places u in a cul-de-sac. |
PaulIdu:Sometimes it would be nice to keep shut if u don't understand a thing, and who told u witchcraft doesn't exist? Just because u ve not seen or come across it doesn't connote it's absence. I will implore u to dig deep, even the whites that some of us copy all in the name of civilization acknowledge it's existence. |
The police re never ur friend...my encounter with them left a very bitter taste in my mouth. It happened that myself and a couple of friends saw one of our friends off, so on our way back we were picked up by the police, our offence was"jay-walking",hmmm. They were just picking anybody they could lay their hands on,with preference for single guys nd ladies. They re criminals, they actually put off the head lamp of their vehicles(abt three or so in tow) so that u won't notice them until they re so close without the slightest "whiffer" so that u wont be able to run. They even threatened to shoot us dear under d pretext of being armed robbers. "I fear these people that day"......The kind of discussions they engaged in left so much to be desired ,well that's another topic for another day. On getting to the station, we met some citizens who had also been "raided ",so we're like twenty five, to cut a long story short we were all asked to bail ourselves with five thousand naira each. Myself and my friends didn't pay a dime because we happened to know the D. P. O. of the station, even with his order they still felt reluctant to allow us go. After that episode, I concluded that this country was beyond redemption..... a country where police officers who re catered for by tax payers turn their guns on the same citizens. The police and judiciary of a nation re the index markers used in assessing a country. |
I knew somebody would come out on behalf of government to deny ordering any probe. In as much as knowing that ordering such a probe would amount to witch-hunting, and especially, coming just a few days after the duo took a swipe at the government ,it would ve sent a very wrong signal. I dont even know why I never believed the story, probably becks it was just too sensational nd immediate. |
See him acting like he is the most pious human being on earth, make the ghost come dash am another slap for face make him fall into another round of coma once again. Useless breed of politicians taking the populace for fools. I am sure the hottest part of hell is reserved for politicians of Nigerian extraction because they re just too selfish nd wicked, it's just abt themselves only after riding on the back of the electorate to get into office. |
Thank God he is shown doing sth different from his normal ponmo cutting or buying charades we re used to seeing. But what is the work of the local government chairmen? this ought to be one of their projects........oops I forgot that they ve been rendered inconsequential since the state governors ve succeeded in emasculating them of funds, they now depend on hand -outs from same,i believe their offices should be scrapped since they re of no use or value...... |
Gen. Cassy is a mentus. The same propaganda they used in getting to power is about to back-fire, they should just forget abt the girls, so many waters ve passed under the bridge. Some of the progenitors of the BBOG ve been settled for a job well done, probably those still stoking the fire are awaiting their own rewards too. Emmm, where is "Ogbeni Tinubu"?he's been too quiet of late, hope he has nothing up his sleeves? Nobody will listen to him again not after deceiving Nigerians that Nigeria would become an "Eldorado' once the A. P. C gets to power. Who will save us from this one-chance "change government"?and whether we like it or not BUBU will want to go for another term once his first term expires, even though he might be too feeble to continue, those benefiting from him will egg him on to contest because no matter wat we think some people re still benefitting from this crazy arrangement. |
Yes, agreed that the paper containing those names could ve been from anywhere esp as it bears no official insignia but does the dishonorable minister body language suggest sth otherwise ? We can all remember most of his "infamous" statements that only those bereft of ideas nd wisdom would utter, no tact, no diplomacy. I will not suprised if he actually did wat they re accusing him of nd thinking this is the same incompetent fellow that took BUBU a whole 6 months to search for gives"cluelessness " a whole new meaning. |
Caricatures re his priority, everybody in life has his/her own nd it doesn't matter how serious or feeble it is. Smh at the personality of d person we ve as "presido",no just a single clue on how to turn things around and he is not even asking for suggestions from renowned economists or those who ve wat it takes to turn things around. We re indeed waiting on GODOT for things to get better in this "one-step forward nd three -steps backward "government. |
He who findeth a job findeth a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord, nobody forced u to contest, so someone should pls tell this dwarf to shut up already, the position wasn't foisted on him either. Did he think governance was just abt geography nd regional planning? Criticising from the sideline is always the easiest thing to do nd wen leadership is thrust upon u, then it becomes difficult. No excuses Mr. Pygmy, u must govern after all u neva allowed Mr. Jona to drop or drink a cup of water in his time. Its ur own turn on s hot seat nd "ur yansh is catching fire right now,its red hot. |
It's high time the P. D. P died so that a new political party can arise from its dust just like a phoenix because this P. D. P has very slim electoral prospects nd it can't even displace the A. P. C at the centre in this their present form. I know the P. D. P is undergoing rejuvenation nd I also believe that they ve learnt their lessons, I like the way it was chased out by the populace because they became too conceited nd proud, and felt they could get away with a whole lot of their atrocious acts. They felt that with or without our votes they would still be able to rule us for the next 60 years or so but at last wat happened to them,?they fell very flat with severe bruises --pride goeth before a fall, and like humpty dumty who had such a great fall that nobody could put the parts together again. They now know that electoral power belongs to the people and which is only released to a political party at election. And if they still haven't learnt a thing or two from this their "fall"then it means that they will neva ever learn again nd it will also mean that they re unfit to govern us. |
Hmmm, this woman has been forgotten with style, she was thinking she would be compensated with a portfolio should Bubu win, she forgot that the Fulanis re just all abt themselves only hence the leaving in the lurch treatment meted to her. Right now she is like an orphan, madam take heart, there might still be light at the end of d tunnel for u if the need arises for Bubu to change his ministers. Next time look very well nd carefully before taking a leap, kpele Kpele.. Don't take a leap just because u hate a person or the person's face as in the case of Jonathan.. A lot of people's fingers got burnt nd some re still getting burnt right now because they were biased in voting Jonathan out because of "inefficiency "as they claimed which to me wasn't tangible enough because he was already putting policies in place to stem the tide of corruption,a good example of such policies was the T. S. A which has since been stylishly hijacked by the A. P. C without giving credit to the P. D. P, even though P. D. P was equally bad in some areas as the A. P. C and also becos he was Ijaw man who was a nobody in the scheme of things in this country. Some people from a particular section of this country feel it is their birthright to lord themselves over us. Most of those who convinced the masses to vote Cassandra have suddenly gone mute since things started nose -diving because they don't want to be seen as making a volte - face so soon hence the need to enjoy the aroma of the change they vigorously campaigned. The Human Rights activists of the south western part of this country and and their media houses accomplices are guilty of ramming "Bubu" down our throats. May God deliver us from this yoke that has been thrust on us in the name of "change". |
And y re they shinning their 32?? With d hardship Nigerians re passing thru right now, this man is not even flinching a bit. Oh God how did we get here?? We ve men with hearts of stone as presidents in this country. No feelings whatsoever for the masses, majority of whom voted this "Cassandra" into office,he is simply unperturbed. Most of his policies are anti-masses and pro -north in his appointments, maybe he sees other parts of the country to be inconsequential. Lest I forget, is "Mrs Casandra" back from the U. S of A or she sneaked into Nigeria without the usual pageantry ![]() No qualms because we didn't even know wen she left for her imaginary U. S. A, no reputable media house in Nigeria reported the news that she was leaving for the U. S. "There will Not be office of the first lady wen I assume office" ---General Cassandra in his pre-election campaign----- bt in reality wat do we ve now?? Moral of my epistle :believe anything the A.P.C say at ur own peril! |
Going by ur own analysis,i guess I will be right to say A. P. C is Boko Haram. |
Rossikki:Abeg swerve go one side, who be this one nd where u come out from. Answer my question:" is the light free of charge or u pay to ve it"? |
Which military is he talking about? Is it the same military in which he served with his fake or no result? He is owing the military and he should be planning on how to make refunds for collecting salaries illegally in d past that he wasn't entitled to. He is talking abt pension that he wasn't paid, does he like the way the country is drifting??Looking more clueless by the day without any iota of solution,he should resign honorably if the country's problems ve overwhelmed him bt I know he won't because we re waiting on Godot. |
Nigerians are a very funny lot,its only in Nigeria that u see people giving plaudits to somebody who is only performing his duties. Is it that poverty has so battered our senses that we don't reason well as normal human beings again??,maybe we ve been so battered that things which ordinarily should be a right or necessity are now seen as luxuries. @ op, is the light free of charge or they re paying for it?? This ur nonsensical observation truly shows that we still ve a very very very long way to go as a country because of the kind of people inhabiting this geographical location called Nigeria and we also deserve the kind of leaders that we ve. |
Shataaap there, who re u politically in Edo state and y is Oshiobaba always following u to every rally? We ve heard statements like this countless times bt they ve all turned out to be "washy" Kenneth Imasuagbon and some other politicians like him re known despite not occupying any office or aligning with any of the present or past state governors, but u were not known hitherto and all of a sudden out of nowhere someone somewhere props u up to continue his grip on the state treasury. It is well... |
Ok, so Nigerians should bear with u now, did ur party ever bear with the last administration even when they got one or two of their policies right . Agreed that the last administration had their Achille's heel but u guys never gave them the chance to see some of their policies through, the fuel subsidy palaver readily comes to mind.. Ur party gave Nigerians a lot of propaganda, making us believe that Nigeria would automatically become an eldorado over night once ur party wins the election, and now that reality has set in,all of a sudden u need more time because u ve seen that it's easier said than done. U must fulfill all ur electoral promises with immediate alacrity if not Nigerians will be awaiting ur party at the polls in 2019. |
12Monkeys:This your analysis corresponds with the bits and pieces I know abt his emergence as Head Of State but urs is more elaborate and I believe ur own version of wat really happened because of some things that u ve mentioned. I ve learnt a thing or two from ur own version. Are u an historian? because very few people care to know abt stuffs like this, kudos to you anyway and keep it up. |
Ehn, him dey suck breast na,and what is so special abt that ,besides nor be play make the owner of monkey buy am?? The breast is there to be sucked,or do u have any other thing to do with it @ Op. |
Things are falling apart in the A.P.C,Kaduna state chapter and the centre can no longer hold, this midget is acting like an emperor, criticizing and insulting Jonathan was a past time to him bt since the person in charge is his Fulani brother he has suddenly gone dumb. Nothing tangible has been achieved in his state since he assumed office, rather it's been one political squabble to another with Sani Shehu. Probably he needs to be reminded that he is no longer in the opposition,he has to be up and doing so that he can execute the contract he has with the people of Kaduna state, and anything short of that would mean that he has failed. |
Northerners too like Honda, to them no other car exists. |
We pray it doesn't happen because if it does, the casualties will be very high, no amount of vigilance or extra care can prevent it because the city is normally always crowded with very low security measures. U wouldn't even know who is who in a city where lots of people from other states throng on a daily basis, how do you know those who re terrorists. In a place like the old Oshodi where u could see a sea of human heads, almost everybody will be dead if an attack should take place. |
Mr. Obaseki ,na talk be that?? Anyway I am not suprised because the A. P. C is a bunch of ne'er do wells, inept and vacuous individual who thrive nd revel in propaganda. If u won't debate then how do you convince the populace to key into ur manifesto, sorry I forgot our political parties lack manifestos, they just cash in on people's sentiments to garner votes. |
