@Tgiirl

From your earnings, it appears that you don't drive enough hours in a day. It is not all trips that bolt sends to you that you must embark on, some trip na waste of time and fuel.

You need to be on the road for at least 15hrs minimum to see better profit and you have to drive like every other day to have reasonable money left in your hand or bank. Post subsidy*
no longer 12 hours, car owners on the grind 15 hours, drivers on rental 18 hours, hp drivers 21 hours. The more hours we spend on the road the healthier we become.....
Even top professional athletes after some years start to experience physical decline even with all their routine of physios, nutritionist etc...
we should not over work our body.

Seems like riders are running away from using bolt these days cos of their fares, Nigerians too like free things, most people don port to Indrive and Rida, na wa
The prices drivers accept on indrive will make you wonder if they are buying their fuel at almost N500 per litre.

We’ve done all these. That’s the reason we are looking for alternatives. NIPCO installation per vehicle costs 342,000. Plus they are fully booked ahead for weeks. So even if you manage & pay today. It might take them months to get to you.
When there is a problem we must think outside the box.. There is a limit to which uber/ bolt can increase fare... we must now look into more fuel efficient vehicles 1.3 litres to 1.5 litres. The CNG option is what government should look into I made a post about this some years back with picture of a car fitted with CNG.
With the opening of seme border prices of tokunbo cars should fall, investors should focus on cars with 1.3 to 1.5 engine litre capacity. Petrol prices may still go higher..

Drivers are at the mercy of app companies. The worse are the negotiations-apps. They allow riders to input any price they like...

so the least paid driver now earns N140k per month.... without working on weekends.
It would be good if uber/ bolt can give us zero commission on some days, to enhance drivers earnings...

To everyone: It's very easy, just take it one day at a time. Target 40k on App daily by the time u minus 10k fuel and 10k Commission u are left with 20k profit. 6days a week and u have 120k a week. Rest one or two days every week. Provided u have met your target...
Note, some days u will make way more, some days u will make a little less. But overall at the end of the week u must make ur weekly target.
Then u will look back at the month, and find out u have made 480k profits.
Do daily and weekly Ajo to help ginger u and force u out of the house even when u don't feel like it. It will also help keep u going when u feel discouraged in d middle of the day. This is what I do, and anyother person can do same.

Trying to find my way home, but it's not easy. The trip I am seeing is not just it. Surulere to berger 3500 and drivers are still rushing it. Best to just give space for now till things make sense. How can fuel jump from 184 to 488 and they won't even be a change in price from driver, even if will give excuse for app coy needing time to work on their app.
I hope you know that drivers who accept such ridiculous prices on those Neg. App, most often renegotiate the prices with their passengers. I recall being on a trip with a lady from Osapa london to Ologolo, while in my car she booked a ride on indrive, for an handyman who was to do an installation job in her house from ebute metta to osapa london, the telephone conversation was quite revealing the lady informed the driver that the amount he wanted to collect was too much and pleaded for the driver to accept N5k, the driver only accepted her low price on indrive with intention to renegotiate, while unethical but it is now a game of survival of the desperadoes.

Why are you surprised? Someone here has been reminding us of the outcome of subsidy removal. He has been harmering on it and we all know that very soon subsidy will be removed!

I only pity delivery guys, but then I guess they should join the telegram group, so they can make enough profit even if fuel sells for 1k per litre.

Asides the abracadabra ∆, to be candid I think bolt is better to use now.....though a lot of riders have started complaining bitterly, only God knows how long bolt will hold this down, cos some have started using commercial buses.

Indrive and Rida are still sleeping. Opened Rida this morning and the prices are almost the same....just a slight increase, same as Indrive.

I've not worked for 3 weeks now though. I've been seriously ill. Wanted to start yesterday but couldn't get fuel. Now that it has increased to 488, na to reason wetin to use my life do remain!

God go help us!
Thank God, for your recovery. Health is wealth.... please all protect your health....

As a car owner you should stop fretting. I have not driven since Sunday. Bolt expects me to do 11 trips on a weekday, to earn their bonus cant go through such stress, given the likely traffic congestion.

I suspect that the Airport taxi cab operates as a cartel, they have their expected fares for every route, so none of their members would be allowed to go below that or he will face heavy backlash the next day..

If uber/ bolt fares are higher than this the rate of cancellation by drivers for offline trips would likely crash their servers. grin... The passengers would be the one more interested in doing the trips offline....

I dont foresee such in the nearest future The economy is really struggling to stay afloat... More passengers are using ehailing.I think car segmentation is the feasible option which is implemented by uber, I dont know if bolt corporate is still operational?.

Please, why did Bolt remove the 'stop new request' option? What do they mean by removing that feature?

Like, I'm expected to take trips until no one is making a request on Bolt anymore?

I was at international Airport and would have stopped new request since I don't know my way around picking up at that place but because that option is not there, I was forced to accept a request at that airport which I later canceled anyway.

Is this not a modern slavery? These are issues we should be addressing here not dragging Felicity's case unending.

It's disheartening to open this page to see that some humans that will never let go are still quoting and quoting over irrelevant issues that should have been trashed a long time ago.
I thought it was a glitch on my app.... Bolt did not even inform us that they were removing this feature, so we can no longer stop new requests from coming in unless you set the destination feature.

Another worrying issue is this bolt branding of a thing, I saw for the first time, a Nissan branded bolt car at Anthony... I hope Bolt considers the security risk, especially driving such branded cars like Corolla Camry at Night....

From do 9 trips to get 4k, now to do 11 trips to get 2k I guess they expect us all to now be chopping boiled eggs... waiting for Bolt recommended list of energy drinks..

Bolt is crazy.
This is full scale slavery.
This bonus should be nothing less than 10k. Now they are reducing it. This guy's don't rate their drivers at all.
You are lucky I was offered a bonus of 2.5k to chase 11 trips, with lagos traffic congestion and flooded roads. So an investor that just acquires a grade A tokunbo car of N3million plus will be hunting for 11 trios just to pocket N3k bonus with IMF conditionalities attached... I dont even think they know how much ella's cashew nuts is selling..
This is simply what I will call PIB. Poverty Index Bonus...

Since Indrive has reduced fares, I use more of Bolt now, it's a hard choice, but it's better to pay 25% of a just than to pay 10% of a slave fare.

How do you go from ogba to v.i for 3k in the morning? huh... Honestly I'm lost with the way Indrive run things recently.
Once you get bolt bonuses, the 25% commission is no longer a deal breaker.

The bolded are words on marble....
