If you are able to get the daily bolt bonuses then the 25% commission is not such a big deal The problem for me is that chasing such bonuses feels at times like playing bet9ja...and you know what they say you can never beat the bookmakers.

Pure truth, just that when me, BAZOO1 and others were shouting and warning upcoming investors they thought we don't want them to enjoy what others are enjoying.
Buying car above 2 million to invest in Uber and be collecting small small money with different types of headaches no work, unless u intend to drive it yourself.

Maybe you should consult moove to find out their secrets. Those guys are dropping brand new cars costing over N6m without blinking..

When you see ehailing companies throwing bonuses at drivers they are under pressure to maintain drivers loyalty. . Uber and bolt bonuses must have woken indrive from their doldrums.... is Lagride throwing any such bonuses?...

The bolded part has always been my dreaded fear, reason why I have been putting all the returns I get to make sure the car stays in good condition pending the agreement duration, cuz i know if the car is in good condition, there will be no room for default...

Praying I go through this without mental and physical stress cuz its getting unbearable for me TBH...

I truly sympathize with your predicament. I would advice you to be extremely careful with your partner. A partner that does not respect signed agreement can become quite mischievous. The car I am using was via an hp completed this year but my partner was a perfect gentleman, understood what an HP agreement is all about. Please as long as you did not sign a PDAPC agreement you have nothing to fear.

There was a time when it seems car owners where the only one immune to whatever policies from uber or bolt... but could that be changing. How would guys on rental or HP drivers be able to cope.

He has convinced at least one known member to also purchase a benz for ehailing. As long as it is a 4 plugs and you have competent mechanic, one can not fault the durability of a Benz.

I hope you also sent them a mail on how to deal with drivers that call their PAX to cancel and do the trips offline.No responsible organization would fold her arms and watch partners that understood the t&c they signed up for renegade on it.
I picked a passenger on bolt app just this Saturday
Me: can I start your trip
PAX: drivers usually call me to cancel and do it offline.
ME: still lost in thought
PAX: the commission they charge is too high, so I agree with the drivers to do offline at an agreed fare.

Some months back at mm2 airport. me and my passenger got talking, she informed me that she met her bolt driver and the next thing the driver did was to cancel the order right in front of her and said offline madam.. she quickly ordered on uber...

If you know how much ehailing companies are losing in Commissions especially bolt, you would understand such a draconian measure...

Unless they will buy and resell which I doubt unless the person have the market for it, go to car dealers if you want to sell it fast.

You forgot to add endorsements aka Tips from passengers... some drivers may hit N2m monthly!

Oga, there are always three options, in increasing order either with same proportion or in a series like manner.

Even if u put 10k for a 1k trip it will still give three options where the last one is about 12k.

If u put 2k for 5k trip, d last option will be less than 3,500.

So those options gat nothing to do with the real or ideal fare. It's a function of the fare quoted by the Rider.

Who should we now believe Gabrinch or Norhbird?.. All POV is highly appreciated.

Am thinking of using Toyota Highlander 4plug for Uber.Also I want to give it out for weekly remittance, especially if the driver stays around Ayobo,it will be park daily in my house after the close of work in the evening.Monday to Friday or Saturday if available.I need your advice base on individual experience ,does my intention make any sense or I should just forget about the plan.I feel instead of just parking it down for those days ,it can produce some money .My only fear is trust on some drivers and how they will manage it.For those using Jeep for Uber please your advice will also be needed, couple with the fact of how parts are expensive.

If your situation has become so dire, have you considered going to moove office, to enquire if they have any car available, you can also broadcast your request to various uber WhatsApp group. Hope something turns up for you pretty soon.

I agree 100% with this. But e-hailing is not something you want to spend the rest of your life doing. Especially if it is your ONLY source of income.There are so many dynamics. By all means I’d continue to encourage anyone involved to please have a 2nd income, it doesn’t matter how little. Pearl1910 is a good example of diversification. If one door closes you should have another door on standby. I am very sure even Mr Cheerful also have his own side gig. Funny enough it was his dashboard that got me into this hustle.

Yesterday on my way to the airport, I had a serious accident involving 6 cars after one useless bread seller decided to drive one way at high speed, 4 cars were severely damaged(tumbled upside down), two of us were lucky because 1, we were not on high speed and 2, God just took over my steering I was able to avoid about 3 cars before the final impact. I just parked jeje and called my mechanic . I’ve spent approximately N156,000 between yesterday and this morning. I’ll be picking up my car in few hours. My bumper, headlights, radiator, condenser, bonnet were all damaged. Las Las my insurance company go still refund me sha.

Sorry about this incidence, thank God that no lives were lost. It is very important to have motor vehicle insurance preferably comprehensive.
