Abeg person wan give me corolla sports 2005.
Remittance 30k weekly while service and maintenance is 50/50 every 6weeks.
Please is this a good deal to take in Lagos?
Is 30k too much or should I negotiate something lower?
Abeg I dey wait feedback make I give them my response... If all you want is a sprint finish 30k is okay, but if you are aiming for a marathon appeal for N25k. |

Gentlelife50: Imagine, who's begging them for their yeye bonus. Imagine telling a whole me to be running up and down the whole Lagos to do 11 trips in a day for one yeye 22k guarantee earnings, like if I need 22k I won't be able to achieve that without those useless conditions and still do fewer trips. Bolt Bonus right now makes no sense. |

There was a time when it seems car owners where the only one immune to whatever policies from uber or bolt... but could that be changing. How would guys on rental or HP drivers be able to cope. Should we expect more price reduction on indrive.... https://www.techcityng.com/uber-expands-availability-of-uber-go-in-lagos/Uber Go will be more affordable than UberX with the minimum fare starting at N400 offering riders a 35% lower cost alternative. The product is being launched in Ikeja with plans to extend to other parts of Lagos and cities where Uber is present in the coming months. |

I drive a Corolla I will advise you to read up previous post by Felicity001, he is the "German Machine" brand ambassador on this thread. He drives one of the c200 series He has convinced at least one known member to also purchase a benz for ehailing. As long as it is a 4 plugs and you have competent mechanic, one can not fault the durability of a Benz. |

sonshyne: I also sent bolt a mail I hope you also sent them a mail on how to deal with drivers that call their PAX to cancel and do the trips offline. No responsible organization would fold her arms and watch partners that understood the t&c they signed up for renegade on it. I picked a passenger on bolt app just this Saturday Me: can I start your trip PAX: drivers usually call me to cancel and do it offline. ME: still lost in thought PAX: the commission they charge is too high, so I agree with the drivers to do offline at an agreed fare. Some months back at mm2 airport. me and my passenger got talking, she informed me that she met her bolt driver and the next thing the driver did was to cancel the order right in front of her and said offline madam.. she quickly ordered on uber... If you know how much ehailing companies are losing in Commissions especially bolt, you would understand such a draconian measure... |

Gentlelife50: Na the same thing we dey talk, e go hard for Uber drivers to buy the gadget the price high. Unless they will buy and resell which I doubt unless the person have the market for it, go to car dealers if you want to sell it fast. All professional fleet managers are expected to have such devices in most of their vehicles. Reach out to jpworld, dru23 and co. |

Pearl1910: Oga, there are always three options, in increasing order either with same proportion or in a series like manner.
Even if u put 10k for a 1k trip it will still give three options where the last one is about 12k.
If u put 2k for 5k trip, d last option will be less than 3,500.
So those options gat nothing to do with the real or ideal fare. It's a function of the fare quoted by the Rider. Who should we now believe Gabrinch or Norhbird?.. All POV is highly appreciated. |

badoutyn: Am thinking of using Toyota Highlander 4plug for Uber. Also I want to give it out for weekly remittance, especially if the driver stays around Ayobo,it will be park daily in my house after the close of work in the evening.Monday to Friday or Saturday if available.I need your advice base on individual experience ,does my intention make any sense or I should just forget about the plan.I feel instead of just parking it down for those days ,it can produce some money .My only fear is trust on some drivers and how they will manage it.For those using Jeep for Uber please your advice will also be needed, couple with the fact of how parts are expensive.
N.B:I see drivers who already got certified by uber but need a car, this can be opportunity for both of us to earn weekly.
And how much should I be looking at weekly for a jeep ?
Thanks for your anticipated advice and suggestions Sir/Ma.God bless our hustling. Only an extremely desperate driver would accept your conditions, such desperate drivers would ultimately leave you with unepairable heart break. Please abandon mission. |

Viking07: I agree 100% with this. But e-hailing is not something you want to spend the rest of your life doing. Especially if it is your ONLY source of income. There are so many dynamics. By all means I’d continue to encourage anyone involved to please have a 2nd income, it doesn’t matter how little. Pearl1910 is a good example of diversification. If one door closes you should have another door on standby. I am very sure even Mr Cheerful also have his own side gig. Funny enough it was his dashboard that got me into this hustle.
Yesterday on my way to the airport, I had a serious accident involving 6 cars after one useless bread seller decided to drive one way at high speed, 4 cars were severely damaged(tumbled upside down), two of us were lucky because 1, we were not on high speed and 2, God just took over my steering I was able to avoid about 3 cars before the final impact. I just parked jeje and called my mechanic . I’ve spent approximately N156,000 between yesterday and this morning. I’ll be picking up my car in few hours. My bumper, headlights, radiator, condenser, bonnet were all damaged. Las Las my insurance company go still refund me sha. Sorry about this incidence, thank God that no lives were lost. It is very important to have motor vehicle insurance preferably comprehensive. |

Blackbishop: Toyota Engine which falls into the most durable of all the engine they use will be 2GR, and 2GR engine comes with Toyota Brands like Camry, Sienna Highlander etc. Most 2GR engines comes with oil cooler hose, but at point those hose couldn’t withstand the pressure and gets damaged. Toyota decided to recall brands with the 2GR engine to replace them with metalic pipe.
1st & 2nd picture: That is the hose that comes with 2GR engine 3rd & 4th picture is the recommended specification
This sigular error has led most motorist into damaging thier engine, because the hose can get damaged anytime and mostly while driving and you will never be aware until the engine cracks and knock. I mostly advise car owner using the hose type or who are not aware to always pay attention to the hose and check frequently. Which corolla engine do you consider most rugged for uber business... |

Glithronix: An indriver rider forgot this stuff in my booth a day before yesterday. I didn't even know until I got home and found this stuff (vacuum cleaner). And y'all know, there's no way I could identify such rider's phone number onto say plenty numbers of customers which I no know who be who. This night, my mind just say make I bring am here. Abeg make una help me announce am ooh. Much respect, bosses. I had similar problem on indriver, a customer forgot a piece of cloth inside my booth, i could not contact her because we both used the indriver app sms to communicate, i picked her inside jakande housing estate, iponri, she was heading to an estate in Shasha. I lodged a complaint to indriver, it was all a merrygo round. Indriver was not helpful in resolving the matter. I would be giving out the cloth to the less privileged. I believe since you called the person, check your call log for date and time, and narrow it down to the time you took the request on indriver. Indriver customer service really needs to be improved upon. |

ReadaDream: How are you guys coping with out of radius trips on Bolt? Indriver has conditioned us not to regard any trip as out of radius. On a more serious note, if the out of radius trip allows me to chop bolt bonuses, I usually accept. I got a out of radius trip that allowed me to get to my house 10 mins after dropping of my pax, got home about 1am. So the trip was a blessing.... |
