See mumu. This fool tried indriver and made 120k a week, leaving home as early as 5am but he's talking of physical and mental health. Your ineptitude and strategical bereftness has nothing to do with me. If You're running for Local Community Development Association chairman, I'm running for President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Your abilities are not, and will never be on par with mine. It's why you await my strategies so you can feel manly again.

Now there's a serious contest on ground. Put your money where your gutter breathing mouth is and prove the stupid nonsense you wrote about uber and bolt being better than indriver or you stuff your horse ass mouth and forever remain silent. Dimwitted nincompoop
Others may consider you irredeemable, but i believe you are still a work in progress.
The job can be quite physically and mentally exhausting especially when you set inordinate targets, so i empathize with your situation.
Your complete wellness is now our concern.
We will not give up on you.
Be calming down.
P.s. We are all trying to build a platform of intelligent discuss, comparable to Quora, where both local and international audience can find our banter, both stimulating and enlightening, let us all collectively not deviate from this noble objective.
Gracias.

Indriver is taking over E-hailing gradually. Bolt drivers are jumping ship.
Let me know, when you wake up from cuckoo land.
About 4 weeks ago i grossed around N120k driving on indriver, nothing still compares to uber or bolt.
I was driving solely only on indriver, motivated by the only Pope on the forum...
Using indriver without support from either bolt or uber, can never be a smart decision.
After getting frustrated using indriver, knowing it could lead to HBP, i quickly regularized not only my uber account that was inactive for 3 weeks, but also my bolt account that had been dormant since last year.
Having a rhythm in life, is important, Indriver takes away that most important aspect.
There are days i will set out of my house at 5a.m using indriver, will not get a trip till 10a.m, riders will keep rejecting my offer price... Under duress you will just offer a get out of jail price just to move somewhere, with long pick up time.
Those using indriver only, may have their reasons.
I am a firm believer that in this game only the smart will survive, which means you must have at least a minimum of 2 apps active on your phone.
There is no reward for Blind Loyalty to any Single E-hailing app!

BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by MoonlightDrive: 2:43am On Jul 22, 2022
Hello pilots, please I might need to change my car evaporator. The ac technician discovered that the car cabin filter of my Corolla had been removed so the evaporator has been compromised. Passengers at the back seat complain that they are not feeling the ac even though the ac knob is at the 4th switch when the knob is put on the last or 5th switch, there is zero cooling and it makes so rattling noise. The cooling effect is okay early in the morning or at night time, but barely noticeable on sunny days. The technician has recommended a tokunbo replacement, I am more inclined to buying a brand new one. Please your experience/ advice will be greatly appreciated Thanks.

This is a business, i can not invest in, safety issues and the menace of agberos. The physical and mental drain on the driver in the hot scorching sun is no child's play. The reckless driving by maruwa drivers, lastma issue, police extortion, illegal charges etc...., The driver may breakdown healthwise if the hp term are unrealistic...
I would advise you to invest in korope or uber business, if you can get additional funding.

I get those N400 trips steady, and it always hits me like a hammer when I end the trip, and I see N400. I’m still smiling to the rider, but inside I’m like no way, no way, after all this? God whhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Anyways, they do compensate you on your balance sha, so it’s still your money.

The riders are really enjoying sha, so you enter car that I have washed and sprayed with the finest Arabian perfumes, AC chilling and you are all alone in the ride, no other passengers but you, controlling me like remote, “on your ac, maximum”, “turn your radio off”, “turn here instead”... then you drop and pay N400, N400, chai!

Nice idea but let me counter.

If we adapt this home zone idea who then will do trips within and to places luke satalight town, ojo, ikorodu, sango ota and other places... Mind you the app is not meant for Lagos alone so take for instance states like Edo State. Who will work in places like Epkoma, Ekhenwhan, and other inner places?

Though the home zone idea is great but should be limited to maybe once weekly or 2hrs in every 24hrs.

You may have a client that wants you to be within their drop off zone so you can easily go back to pickup after a particular time. because if you allow every driver to set a zone to work who do you think would want to work in ikorodu? Mower, Ojo LGA??

To me night trips should be more expensive, say all trips should c9me with 1.5xsurge to encourage and also to discourage night work and movement respectively.
Let me also add that cancellation of trips from 9pm should not count against the driver.

Felicity0001:
After reading all the comments on the proposed strike by Bolt drivers I just SMH in dismay.

The truth is there's no driver weather driving with Bolt/Uber/Indriver or any other that is not been affected by this dracula policies being dished out by these EH apps.

Just last week here Uber blocked my account permanent again with the reason that I rejected a card trip.

Now, I flashed back to some of the requests I got the previous day's and I deduced it was one rider that reported and without any form of consultation they just released the sledge hammer on my account, gbam!

The night b4 that day that my account was blocked I was still at lekki at around 9:45pm Uber would not let me set destination and all the trips I was getting was just around the island and I was tired and was desperate to go home, I'd been waiting for over 2hrs hoping to get a trip to the mainland even if na ikeja self I wouldn't mind but non came.
My Bolt was on set destination for several hours it was the next day I noticed my temporarily drivers license had expired reason I didn't get a single trip all along and they couldn't even notify me instead they just stop request from coming in.

I finally decided to drive empty all the way from Chevron or thereabout and on getting to Bank Anthony way, Maryland I got this request with 2.0x on Uber I'd even forgotten my app was on. The rider was not too far away.

Where is this one going I thought within me so I put a call through and she said Ikoyi... I looked at the time it was past 11pm already.

Me wey don blow empty reach house already? What kind of temptation is this? I'll blow empty again come back if I embark on this trip oooh... I thought!

I asked her is it card or cash? This is fuel scarcity session and I've been doing card all along wont I take some money home? The next thing I heard was a man's voice on the background telling her to lie it's cash and not card but already the woman/lady had said it was card...
Me: pls who's going on this ride because I just heard a man's voice on the background and the man said what's all these question with this guy, pls tell him if he doesn't want to go he should cancel.

I hanged up and turn back facing home and then she cancelled.

Next evening I went online and all 4-6 requeats I got all "rider cancelled" even b4 I could get their number to call or chat them. I was frustrated and went offline and didn't go out again that day.

The next morning trying to go online I got a message that my account has been blocked.

Me self I deleted their app straight up, deleted Bolt too. Installed my indriver and powered up my Rida app.

Yesterday I netted 12.5k on both apps with just 3 trips.

What am I trying to say here? Drivers are servants to these app companies but we drivers needs to wake up and tell them we are not servants but masters because we pay them and not them and the only way to change this narrative is to have a Union otherwise nothing will happen.

The idea of having a RS app is good but trust me it won't solve the problem because only one app can't serve the market and they'll at some point monetise it... E.g indrive, watch out for Rida now. They already "pay to app" on their app self so it's just a matter of time b4 they roll out their commission.

The union will have the government backing, belong to the NLC and a policy will be passed to every app coys to make sure every driver are to submit a Union ID b4 they'll be able to go online. With this every driver will be compared to join a Union and this will inturn even reduce the numbers of drivers on the platform because most drivers are part time drivers and this will discourage them or stop them from driving.

From there we can begin to engage these company properly by negotiating as partners not as customer that we currently are to them.
Well let NURTW set up their own union app, and let drivers that want to be unionized download the app...

This picture was taken last week, the driver was at wemco road, trying to connect to ijaiye/ ogba... the driver showed a lot of hoodlum spirit , he will try to reverse and wanted to take the smallest opening, the korope bus will quicly drive forward to block the small gap. Eventually the police officers frustrated with the driver for refusing to open the door, simply yanked off the car plate number, it was shortly then the passenger door was opened. I dont really know the new scam police are now using on uber drivers along that axis. Please all remain eternally vigilant.

Some men can be funny... 2 odd & interesting events happened yesterday.

1, was a man roll down his window to ask my rider for phone number. She kuku give em

2, drop off a rider, as I was coming out of her street, a man in truck flag me and I pull over to know what's going on. He walk up to me and like she has been following us from when she stopped over to get some stuffs, am I into Uber? Really! But I'm don't for the day. He goes on like OK, please he only need the phone number of the lady I just dropped. I smile like bro code, no wahala, but half way into calling her number, I just start calling rubbish. Felt is wrong to give out someone details like that.

The hustle for oven is not easy in this lagos grin
I had a different kind of experience about 2 weeks ago.
I got a request on indriver to drop off a generator in ikeja. I asked the person who ordered the ride who would pay, he said the recipient of the generator. I arrived at the drop of point, the recipient brought out the generator, told him is far is N25x0... he complained that it was too expensive that the guy should have used bolt to make the delivery. To cut a long story short he started checking the generator, when he pulled the rope the 1st time and nothing happened he pulled it the second time, the generator refused to come on, I wandered if the generator does not work, I might have to take it back to pu... on the 3rd attempt the generator sputtered to life.... he only paid N2500... I ended the trip on indriver. 10 mins later the person who ordered the ride told me I should not give his house address to the buyer of the generator no matter the reason I told him why should I.... Caveat emptor!

3 things INdriver needs to do to Become number 1

1. Stop riders from editing minimum price to ridiculous cheap price.

2. Trip request should be open to maximum of 5 closest drivers in a particular location. This will make bidding and getting offer accepted by riders easier. Anything from 6 drivers and above contesting for a trip request is usually tedious on earning and performance of driver

3. Do aggressive advert and create awareness.
From indriver marketing strategy that are not desperate to be No1. They just want a reasonable market share.

Pt 1. Drivers are not kids, if the riders price is ridiculous let the driver choose his/her poison!

Pt2. No discrimination, let drivers no matter their distance bid for a trip, if I see a 25/30mins pu that takes me to within 10 mins drive to my home, i will gladly grab it. I do not have time for uber run around trips.

Pt3. Indriver has wittingly outsourced that job to we, the drivers.
