Rubiales truly overreacted. Lope only agreed a deal for Christ sake and what's there with the announcement. Van Gaal agreed Man U deal before 2014 WC same with Conte before Euro 2016 and their teams performed well in the respective tournaments. The problem is the FA and there is something going on in that organisation they are not telling the world.

Perez does not have much fault in all this? Zidane exit caught him off guard and he had do something asap. World cup ends in July and next season starts in August. The guy only announced the agreement. Let's not forget that most top guns in Spain hate Madrid and the man cos of his influence and perhaps success. Rubiales saying he only got to know five minutes before the announcement also suggests his action somehow seems to be personal.

While I think the Spanish FA overreacted it's hard to blame them from a principle standpoint. It's not done like that anywhere

I like this new spanish president. He is a no-nonsense person. They thought he would allow the national team to be toyed with.

I hope Perez gets his signings right. I think his major targets are GK,defender, Rb and a striker.

of course, I'm backing him to do a great, but since his Spanish, he might be partial, like dropping varane for nacho, starting both asensio and isco(which will be disastrous). I just hope he doesn't tamper with Bale's position. Let's also watch how he will handle ronaldo.

Dude, Lope is a stop-gap measure. The plan B I was talking about.

Perez has been wanting to have a Spanish-heavy RM for a while now, so it's no surprise he favored Lope.

I don't think he'd see his contract through (it's 3 yrs). However, it's too early to say if he is a bad choice.

About signing a no9,who do you think will fit in. Apart from Lewandowski and icardi.

we could have gone for Werner last winter, but his allergic to noise. He plays with some device in his ears. Don't know if the board will move for him this summer.

You and i know that doesn't matter... give Hotspur what they need and Kane is ours for the number 9 jersey or perhaps we can snap up icardi for a cheap price (compared to Kane's price tag tho')

All am saying is that we just need a lethal striker for next season... we are Madrid and we are known for scoring goals (History has it) ...doesn't matter the coach we get, we will still be on a high come next season
