Android17: 1. A blocked shot is not a shot on target. City had more shots on target according to the stats. That settles your argument with the other guy. Shot on target & Stats can't win you a match but goal(s) ...and again do I need to remind you that a single goal >>>>> 1 million shots on target? So rest 2. Foden and Rodri had shots on target with better XG because they were closer to the goal post when the keeper made the save. Just like you can say someone should have scored a penalty. Who better xG help? So FA will now give the trophy to a team that has a better xG against the one that has goals? As I said earlier 100 xG is less than a fluke goal So, rest [s] 3. Your use of should have does not filter through the logic test. Chelsea did not miss more chances than the number that City and Arsenal made and scored to finish 1st and 2nd. You can say Arsenal should have won the league when they led by 8 points. . .because they were on course to even getting 99 points which would have won them the league. Use the same logic for the UCL etc. Stop throwing words around. [/s] You are the one that use the word "should have scored" and such a statement is invalid in a game of football because nearly does not kill a bird. 4. Havertz chance was at an inconsequential MOMENT. One rule of thumb for reading is to read all the words in a sentence. Then pause and make sure you understand it before hitting reply.
By the way, inconsequential moment means at an earlier time of the game that City had more than enough time to react. That is why City still scored first and then went on to have a better chance to score again from Fodens 1 v 1 against the keeper. Hmmm, clap for yaself. An Inconsequential moment in a game of football? Have you not watched a match and the goal is scored in the very first minute and that settles it? There is nothing like inconsequential moment in a game of football, it is a game of 90 minutes and every minute counts, you lose guard and you're punished for it. Oga, the better team won so rest. |

Android17: You will lose the argument you are trying to make. When a defender blocks a shot, it is not counted as a shot on target. What are you saying sef? It was counted as a blocked shot for a reason. Both Foden and Rodri should have scored when City already led that would have put the game out of sight. Foden and Rodri should have scored? What do you mean by saying "should have scored" Maybe we should begin to award trophies to players who should have scored but failed to do so. Chelsea should have won premier league last season if not for Sterling's lacklustre display in front of goal Chelsea should have won UCL last season if not that our supposedly goal-bound shots became blocked shots. In short Chelsea should have won treble last season if not that we sacked a champion league manager and replaced him with a Potty. Usually, football matches are about moments. When Leicester beat City 2 years ago, it was because they got a last minute penalty following a Nathan Aké mistake. So bringing up the Harvertz chance(s) at inconsequential moments is not the mic drop moment you think it is. Harvetz's chances are inconsequential but Foden and Rodri are not? Dey play, just dey play. |

Hmmm, I watch Arsenal's display against Man City this evening and I was shivering, truth must be told these guys are good and bar injury to any of their key players, during the season, these guys and Man City have already made the top 4 in my book, and the remaining 2 teams to make the top 4 is between; Liverpool Chelsea Man u and New Castle.
Ladies and gentlemen for any team to make top 4 this season is going to be Clash of the Titans. |

UnfairLife7: government primary school o. I don't think i will advise op to accept it. If it were government secondary school then it's fair. Secondary school that he can get to principal and also get some juicy position before or after retirement. A principal in a government secondary school can earn close to 700k Lies from the pit of hell, you get paid by your levels though principal may have the opportunity to embezzle money than headmaster but get the same salary structure being determined by level. |

Griffon: What do you know about midfield play?
You’re seeing a three man midfield and you’re asking who is the CDM. That’s a midfield trio of ball carriers, line breakers, markers etc.
Do we have such? Who are the midfielders we have? We lost key members of that midfield and you feel we shouldn’t replace them because we have a 100milla man? You are funny.
Your Jorginho had RLC, Kovacic, Kante and Mount and still served us half baked beans. Man still went to Arsenal as a DM, but the club sensing his uselessness went ahead to fork out 100milla to buy Rice untop him head. What could be worse?
English football and its history isn’t your forte. You always come short when you try to choose sides or players in EPL. You know nothing about this league.
Just stick to analyzing the Bundesliga and how Italia 90 was played. 🤣🤣🤣 Oga Raumdeuter is Baba 70, he should leave football matters to this current generation and cling to WW2 history. |

hensben: I’m a football lover and I understand the game very well, I played the game to a certain level and midfield was my best position so I know talent when I see one and at same time I know when a player is not properly used or when a player is actually average and not fit for a top club. I also understand we have luxury players who don’t have a defining role so they need to be protected by positioned players so that their weakness don’t show; e.g, Pogba and Havertz. When I told Man U fans then that Pogba is neither here nor there they thought I was trolling, that he is dele Alli with showboating. Are you saying you did not put this saying of yours " I understand the game very well" into consideration when you said Chelsea will make top 4 if we sign Enzo last season? |

infocentre: I drive C-Class Benz and I can attest; it’s a strong machine and I hardly buy parts. However, it is known for more electrical faults than mechanical. I patronize car electricians (rewire) more and occasionally check mecho.
On the same vein, I've heard of some car brands like Toyota/Honda having less electrical but more mechanical faults of major components such as engine or gear. So, which do you think is worse and more financial drain per your experience? You have a C-Class Benz, this shows you are an adult and seeing the question you opened a thread for left me bewildered. |
