Take-It-Back Movement Warns Tinubu, Says ‘Allow One Protester To Be Shot Or Harmed And You’re Gone From Office’
The Take-It-Back Movement (TIB) has warned President Bola Tinubu’s government against shooting at Nigerians during the 10-day #EndBadGovernance protest that will kick off on Thursday.
The warning was given in a press statement issued by the group mobilization director, Damilare Adenola on Wednesday.
The group’s statement reads: “We, the Take It Back Movement, issue a final warning to your administration: do not dare attempt to silence our voices with bullets or any weapon because it cannot.
“The blood of our brothers and sisters will not be shed in vain, you have our assurance.
“We vividly remember the atrocities committed in 2020, when the Nigerian government with your connivance in Lagos unleashed terror on peaceful #EndSars protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate.
“But let us be clear: Buhari may have temporarily escaped the consequences of his actions, but you will not, President Tinubu.
“We want you to know, your presidency hangs by a thread. The people will not be intimidated, and we will not be silenced. If you give the order to shoot, if you allow one protester to be harmed - by the Nigerian security forces or their affiliate non-state actors- your time in office will come to an abrupt end.
“We are not just protesters, we are the generation seeking a new order, a revolution. We are the change that Nigeria needs. And we will not be stopped.
“To the security agencies, we say: refuse to follow unlawful orders. Stand with the people, not against the people.
“To the Nigerian people, we say: rise up! Join us in this fight for our future. Together, we can bring down the walls of oppression and build a new Nigeria.”
“President Tinubu, the choice is yours. Choose wisely,” the group added. https://saharareporters.com/2024/07/31/take-it-back-movement-warns-tinubu-says-allow-one-protester-be-shot-or-harmed-and-youre

No regime change; disgruntled Nigerians free to protest while we continue ‘eating’: Akpabio
Mr Akpabio appealed to Nigerians to give Mr Tinubu’s administration more time so its policies could yield results.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio says disgruntled Nigerians can continue to protest while he and other pro-government citizens will continue to eat from President Bola Tinubu’s government.
“We are not interested in regime change. Let us own this government. Those who want to protest can protest. But let us be there eating,” Mr Akpabio said on Tuesday.
The Senate president made this at a meeting with the NDDC Executive Management Engagement, Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities, and other Stakeholders in Port Harcourt.
He appealed to Nigerians to give Mr Tinubu’s administration more time so its policies could yield results.
“As the Senate president, I want to appeal to all Nigerian youths to give this administration an opportunity for most of the policies to mature,” Mr Akpabio said.
He added, “So the whispers of our nation are already receiving attention. The economic challenges are known to the president because all of us feel the impact of what is happening now.” https://gazettengr.com/no-regime-change-disgruntled-nigerians-free-to-protest-while-we-continue-eating-akpabio/

Wigwe University Registrar, Inyama Dies After Alleged Wrong Blood Transfusion In Abuja Hospital
The Registrar of Wigwe University, Ulonna Inyama has died under mysterious circumstances in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to a family source, Inyama died on Monday, due to complications from fibroid surgery and a wrong blood transfusion.
The source revealed that she was initially admitted to a hospital in Abuja for fibroid treatment but suffered a fatal reaction after receiving the wrong blood type, Vanguard reports.
“She died of loss of blood due to fibroid complications under mysterious circumstances. We were told that wrong blood transfusion led to her death.
“When her condition worsened due to complications, she was referred to another hospital, where she passed on,” the source said.
The family has demanded an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Inyama’s death.
Inyama’s death comes just months after the tragic loss of Wigwe University’s founder, Herbert Wigwe, who died in a helicopter crash in California, USA, along with his wife and son.
The university community is still reeling from the loss of its founder and now faces another devastating blow with the loss of its Registrar. https://saharareporters.com/2024/07/30/wigwe-university-registrar-inyama-dies-after-alleged-wrong-blood-transfusion-abuja

Tinubu told traditional rulers he bought presidential seat with his money: Sheikh Bello Yabo
In a video of one of his sermons, Mr Yabo said Mr Tinubu disclosed this when he met clerics and traditional rulers at the villa last week.
Sokoto-based Islamic cleric Shiekh Bello Yabo says President Bola Tinubu disclosed to clerics and traditional rulers that he bought his way to the presidency.
In a video of one of his sermons, Mr Yabo said Mr Tinubu disclosed this when he met clerics and traditional rulers at the villa last week.
“Tinubu has really impressed me; he invited all the traditional rulers from the North, West and East and told them bluntly that ‘I bought this seat I’m on with money’,” Mr Yabo said.
He added, “Tinubu has never impressed me like now for coming out to tell the naked truth. Whoever pays the piper dictates the tune; isn’t Tinubu telling the truth?”
Mr Yabo derided those who sold their votes during the 2023 presidential elections, adding that all they got in exchange for their votes had now been exhausted as they suffered the consequences of their decision at the polls.
“You have eaten the spaghetti and macaroni you have been given to vote, and now it is finished, it’s all over, so what next? Tinubu says he spent huge sums from the primary elections to the actual presidential election.”
“It’s all over now; let us pray and wait for the next election in 2027. If you like, collect his money again and vote for him, and I assure you, you’ll remain in pain, that’s all,” Mr Yabo said.
Spokespersons for Mr Tinubu, Ajuri Ngelale and Bayo Onanuga could not be reached for comments on the cleric’s claim. While Mr Ngelale’s contact was unreachable, Mr Onanuga answered calls twice and dropped them immediately.
The cleric’s remark comes a few days after Mr Tinubu, at a meeting with clerics and traditional rulers across the country, said he funded and fought his election from his personal money and no cabal support.
“I have no cabal. I have no sponsors. The money I spent on the elections was my personal fortune. At some point, the odds were against me; banks were locked. But Allah, the Almighty God, said I will be the president,” Mr Tinubu said at last week’s meeting. https://gazettengr.com/tinubu-told-traditional-rulers-he-bought-presidential-seat-with-his-money-sheikh-bello-yabo/

Court document reveals P Diddy paid $1 million for Tupac assassination
The “deadly rivalry” between Diddy’s Bad Boy Records on the East Coast and Tupac’s Death Row Records, then owned by Marion “Suge” Knight on the West Coast, was not a secret in the hip-hop
U.S. rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was further implicated in new court documents that claimed he paid $1 million to have Tupac Shakur assassinated in 1996.
Mr Combs’ name appeared in the records over 75 times.
Key suspect Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis, who was apprehended in Tupac’s murder probe last year, said Diddy had funded his rival’s assassination on September 7, 1996, according to court documents obtained by U.S. Sun.
Pseudonyms ranging from Puff Daddy, P Diddy and Diddy were mentioned in the documents filed on July 18, where the first reference indicated that there was already bad blood between Diddy and Tupac.
The “deadly rivalry” between Diddy’s Bad Boy Records on the East Coast and Tupac’s Death Row Records, then owned by Marion “Suge” Knight on the West Coast, was not a secret in the hip-hop industry.
Keefe told law enforcement that Diddy paid $1 million to another gangster, Eric Von Martin, to kill Tupac.
According to Keefe’s account in court records, Diddy reached out after the news of Tupac’s assassination broke, asking whether it was “us” or another rival gang.
“Sean Combs reaches out to Defendant wondering if South Side Crips were responsible for Shakur’s death by asking, ‘Is that us?’,” court records showed. “Defendant, beaming with pride, answers, ‘Yes’.”
Keefe had willingly given up the information under the assumption that he had immunity from prosecution, which had now backfired and could be used to convict him.
“Defendant( Keefe) asserted that the conspiracy to commit the murder began in California between Defendant, Eric ‘Zip’ Martin, and Sean Combs,” court filings stated
Keefe admitted to LA police detectives that his nephew Orlando ‘Baby Lane’ Anderson “popped the dude (Tupac), narrating in detail how his nephew “leaned over, rolled down the window, and popped them.”
“Defendant [Keefe] has asserted publicly that he only told on himself and wasn’t trying to provide evidence against anyone else in his conversations with police. However, this statement belies this claim, as he suggested that Sean Combs paid Eric Von Martin a million dollars for the killings,” the court records stated.
When police questioned him, asking, “When you said paid, paid by Puffy, right?” Keefe responded with a “Yeah,” court records showed.
“I wish I never met Puff Daddy, period. I swear to God…He messed up my life, man. I was, I was rich, up under the radar, all that, man…it’s all gone,” court records cited Keefe as saying. https://gazettengr.com/court-document-reveals-p-diddy-paid-1-million-for-tupac-assassination/

Politics › Nigerian Govt Snubs Dangote Refinery To Export Crude Oil To Indonesia by Morbeta11(op): 5:45am On Jul 24, 2024 |
The Group Chief Commercial Officer at Dangote Industries Limited, Rabiu Umar has said the Nigerian government neglected Dangote Refinery to export crude oil to Indonesia and import finished products from the same country.
Umar disclosed this in an interview with Channels Television on Monday monitored by DAILY POST.
He stated this despite the 650,000 barrels per day Dangote Refinery’s inability to get adequate crude oil supply in Nigeria.
“Whilst we are going to import cargoes abroad. Most of the cargo from Nigeria is sold to Indonesia. So the question is, does it make sense to take cargo from Nigeria to sell to Indonesia and then you are also importing the same finished product to Nigeria? It does not make sense to me”, he said.
He added, “We expect to see an improved supply of crude oil to domestic refineries”.
He, however, reiterated that Dangote Refinery will commence the domestic supply of fuel in August 2024.
The development comes amid the recent impasse between the Dangote Refinery and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority over substandard products.
Recall that last week, Farouk Ahmed, the Chief Executive Officer of NMDPRA stated that Dangote products were inferior.
Meanwhile, Rabiu clarified that Dangote Refinery products are not substandard but rather among the best in the World.
Earlier, Aliko Dangote, the owner of Dangote Refinery had also dismissed Ahmed’s statement that its products were inferior. https://dailypost.ng/2024/07/22/nigerian-govt-snubs-dangote-refinery-to-export-crude-oil-to-indonesia/

Nigeria needs visionary leaders who don’t amass wealth but build industries: Femi Otedola
Mr Otedola advised the federal government to emulate other countries by supporting local industries like the Dangote Group for the country to thrive.
Businessman and philanthropist Femi Otedola has asserted that Nigeria requires visionaries who would build industries with their wealth to foster the country’s economic growth.
Mr Otedola’s assertion comes amid the ongoing feud between his fellow businessman, Aliko Dangote and the oil regulatory body, the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Agency (NMDPRA), over the former’s refinery located in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State.
In a statement shared on X Tuesday, Mr Otedola emphasised that recognising and supporting “titans”, “local champions”, and “visionaries” such as Mr Dangote “is crucial for our national development and economic independence” and to “drive our nation’s progress.”
“Countries in the nascent stages of industrialisation require visionary leaders,” said Mr Otedola. “This is why it’s no surprise that the United States was built by the vision and tenacity of a few remarkable individuals—Cornelius Vanderbilt, John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, J.P. Morgan, and Henry Ford—THE MEN WHO BUILT America’s industrial landscape. “
Mr Otedola said the individuals who established industries had the backing of their government, which acknowledged the importance of “local champions” in national development.
He added, “Their contributions were immortalised not in the material wealth they amassed but in the enduring institutions and industries they established. These visionaries were also supported by their government, which recognised the importance of fostering local champions.”
Describing Mr Dangote as a visionary, Mr Otedola, the former chairman of Forte Oil, Plc, noted his fellow businessman’s immense investments in the country.
He said, “My brother, the Visionary, has built the largest single train refinery in the world, not in Kano, but in Lagos State. He is the owner of the second-largest sugar refinery in the world, also in Lagos State, and the largest cement factory in the world, not in Kano, but in Kogi State.”
“Additionally, he has established one of the second-largest fertiliser plants in the world, soon to surpass the biggest one in Qatar, also in Lagos State. Furthermore, he has built a fertiliser plant in Lagos that already exports globally. Aliko Dangote is a titan that God created specially for mankind,” he stated further.
Stating that Mr Dangote is the country’s largest private sector employer of labour, Mr Otedola noted, “Dangote Group often pays more in taxes than the top banks combined,” adding, “If not for him, we would still be importing cement. “
“His contributions extend beyond industrial facilities to critical infrastructure, having built major roads such as the Apapa Oshodi-Owonrosoki Express Road, Wharf Road, and the Obajana-Kabba Road,” he recounted.
Mr Otedola advised the federal government to emulate other countries by supporting local industries like the Dangote Group for the country to thrive. https://gazettengr.com/nigeria-needs-visionary-leaders-who-dont-amass-wealth-but-build-industries-femi-otedola/

Politics › Mele Kyari Ask Dangote To Name Those Behind Fuel Blending Plant In Malta by Morbeta11(op): 9:29pm On Jul 23, 2024 |
In a statement he issued via his social media platforms, Kyari maintained that he does not own a blending plant in Malta nor did he know any of his colleagues doing so.
Mele Kyari, the group chief executive officer (GCEO) of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, has challenged billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote, to reveal the identities of NNPC workers accused of establishing a blending plant in Malta.
In a statement he issued via his social media platforms, Kyari maintained that he does not own a blending plant in Malta nor did he know any of his colleagues doing so.
SaharaReporters had reported how Aliko Dangote accused some people in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) of importing fake petrol products into the country.
Dangote had said the NNPC cabals created a petroleum refinery in Malta from where they import inferior fuel into Nigeria.
Kyari, in his response, said, “I am inundated by enquiries from family members, friends and associates on the public declaration by the President of Dangote Group that some NNPC workers have established a blending plant in Malta thereby impeding procurements from local production of Petroleum products.
“To clarify the allegations regarding blending plant, I do not own or operate any business directly or by proxy anywhere in the world with the exception of a local mini Agric venture. Neither am I aware of any employee of the NNPC, that owns or operates a blending plant in Malta or anywhere else in the world.
“A blending plant in Malta or any part of the world has no influence over NNPC’s business operations and strategic actions.
“For further assurance, our compliance sanction grid shall apply to any NNPC employee who is established to be involved in doing so if availed and I strongly recommend that such individuals be declared public and be made known to relevant government security agencies for necessary actions in view of the grave implications for national energy security.”
SaharaReporters had reported that Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, chaired a high-level meeting on Monday over the challenges facing the Dangote Refinery, Lagos, which the government believes, is a critical project in the oil sector. A statement had said the meeting was attended by Mr. Aliko Dangote, Chairman and CEO of Dangote Group; Mr. Farouk Ahmed, Authority Chief Executive of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA).
Other are "Mr. Gbenga Komolafe, Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) and Mr. Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL)."
According to the statement, the stakeholders expressed their gratitude to the Honourable Minister for his exemplary leadership and timely intervention in facilitating this crucial dialogue.
SaharaReporters earlier reported that the House of Representatives called on the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote, and oil marketers to refrain from making public accusations against each other, using the media.
SaharaReporters had recently reported how NMDPRA Chief Executive, Farouk Ahmed highlighted concerns over the consistency and standardisation of the output of Aliko Dangote’s refinery.
The NMDPRA boss had said the quality of Dangote Refinery products was inferior compared to imported ones. https://saharareporters.com/2024/07/23/breaking-nnpc-ceo-mele-kyari-challenges-aliko-dangote-name-government-workers-behind

Pan-Yoruba Group Asks Tinubu Govt To Caution Delta Gov Over Alleged Plots Against Itsekiri People, Says Yoruba, Itsekiri Are Brothers
The group accused Governor Oborevwori of creating ‘artificial kings right on the land owned by Itsekiri people’.
A Pan-Yoruba group, O’odua Nationalist Coalition (ONAC) has asked President Bola Tinubu’s administration to caution Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori over alleged collaboration with some ethnic nationalities in the state to forcefully take territories belonging to the Itsekiri ethnic nationality.
The ONAC accused Governor Oborevwori of appearing to be on a vengeful mission with the sole aim of rewriting the almost 1,000-year-old history of the Itsekiri people that is documented and preserved by local and international authorities.
The group alleged that Oborevwori in collaboration with some officials in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are plotting to delineate wards to reduce the Itsekiti voting potential and further stunt the future of the ethnic nationality.
The group in a statement signed by Chief Akinola Adelugba and Usman Oriola and made available to journalists said it is following with keen interest conscious plans to alienate and subdue the Itsekiri people by all means necessary.
The group said the plan will only fuel a major crisis that may create instability in the Niger-Delta region.
It accused the governor of carrying out policies that overrule various existing judgements of the Supreme Court on land ownership in Warri Kingdom, saying there can never be two kings in one kingdom.
The ONAC said “The Yoruba Nation is blood-bound with the Itsekiri. We stand shoulder-by-shoulder, heart-by-heart and hand-by hand to protect and vehemently defend the interests of each other wherever there is a threat.
“We warn of dire consequences if the Delta State Governor and his collaborators continue with the grand plot to destroy Itsekiri Nation.”
The group accused Governor Oborevwori of creating ‘artificial kings right on the land owned by Itsekiri people’.
It said that since 1999, the government had tried to pick people from the streets and declare them as kings in order to polarise the heritage of Itsekiri people and undermine the ancient authority of the Itsekiri.
The group said, “Royalty is being created where there was one. Crowns are being purchased from street hawkers to establish fake Kingdoms on Itsekiri land.
“The governor should stop his primordial instincts or face serious consequences for his criminal actions.”
The group further warned that the policies of the state government can lead to a conflict.
The coalition said since 1999, successive governments in the state with the exception of former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, have tried to subdue the Itsekiri through various policies calculated to destroy them.
“The Yoruba Nation and Itsekiri will not accept this. We are going to work with our Itsekiri brothers, live together and fight together our common enemies. Any attack on Itsekiri is an attack on the Yoruba Nation,” it said. https://saharareporters.com/2024/07/22/pan-yoruba-group-asks-tinubu-govt-caution-delta-governor-over-alleged-plots-against

Properties › Delta Bans Sales Of Land In Ogwashi-uku by Morbeta11(op): 7:12pm On Jul 20, 2024 |
Following the incessant land disputes, the Delta State Government has banned the sales of land in Ogwashi-Uku and its neighbouring communities particularly in disputed boundary areas until further notice.
The state Deputy Governor, Mr Monday Onyeme, gave the directive on Friday at a meeting to resolve Ogwashi-Uku kingship, chieftaincy and land disputes with neighbouring communities at the Government House Asaba.
He said, “All sales of land in Ogwashi-Uku and its neighbouring communities particularly in disputed boundary areas are hereby banned until further notice.
“The government is resolved to put to an end all boundary disputes bothering between various communities in the state in order for the people to live in peace with one another.
“The meeting is a fallout from the State Security Council meeting which directed my office to address the issue which includes the deposition and replacement of gazetted Chiefs of Ogwashi-Uku by the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom.
“Other issues as land ownership and administration of land titles in Ogwashi-Uku and surrounding communities, boundary disputes with other local government areas and the plethora of civil and criminal cases emanating from the resistance of the installation of new chiefs by the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku.”
The Deputy Governor noted that the government had received several petitions and complaints on the issues and was concerned, hence the meeting to resolve the issue amicably.
He assured that all the issues raised would be looked into as without peace there would be no meaningful development.
To this end, the state government set up a committee headed by the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Ekemejero Owhoviorole, SAN, with the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Chieftaincy, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Lands and Secretary of the State Boundary Committee, Permanent Secretary, Chieftaincy Affairs, Permanent Secretary, Office of the Deputy Governor and representative from the Technical Committee of the State Boundary Committee as members to look into all the boundary issues of Ogwashi-Uku and it’s neighbouring communities with a view of proffering lasting solution.
He directed all parties concerned to submit all necessary documents to the committee within seven days and cooperate with the committee in carrying out its assignment. https://punchng.com/delta-bans-sales-of-land-in-ogwashi-uku/

Omowunmi, wife of late Nigerian artist Oladimeji Ilerioluwa Aloba nicknamed Mohbad, has described her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, as the greatest enemy of her son, Liam.
After her husband’s death in September 2023, Aloba has made a number of claims and counterclaims concerning the paternity of Liam.
Speaking during a recent radio programme, he alleged that Mohbad had questioned Liam’s paternity when the child was just five months old.
He stated that Mohbad and Omowunmi had a heated argument over the issue, which was overheard by others.
Aloba also revealed that he had refused to rebury his son until a DNA test confirmed Liam’s biological father.
He said: “Cynthia (Omowunmi) is supposed to be called a liar. There is no single truth that comes out from her. Liam has bowed legs. People started calling my attention to the physical traits of Liam, saying ‘We do not have curved legs in our family. So where did Liam get his curved legs?’
“I wanted to name the boy Victor. I did not know where they got the name Liam from. Liam is an Islamic name and we do not have Islamic in my lineage
“We are talking about DNA. They did not do it and they want us to bury Mohbad. We must know if the child is ours and if he belongs to our bloodline.
“If people want to look for who killed Mohbad, they should wait after the DNA test.”
Reacting, Omowunmi, in a post via Instagram on Wednesday alleged that the “greatest enemy” of Liam, her son with Mohbad, is the singer’s father.
“Liam’s greatest enemy is his grandfather. Life is funny,” she wrote in a now-deleted post. https://dailytrust.com/my-father-in-law-is-mohbads-son-greatest-enemy-widow/

Sapasenator: Poverty? Na, maybe a little bit of bad mouth I have been told but still looking for the vacation from all the pictures posted so far. See those two ladies as them dey laugh at you from the last picture.
Deep down, you will agree with me you are having zero fun aside from the hype of boarding a plane and being in a white man's land. Nothing else my brother and I just have a sudden strong feel for what you must be passing through deep down. White man's advertisement strong no be small.
Next time before embarking on a vacation, put it on NL so tenured veterans like us will advice you on where you can go have a blast of your life at a fraction of the cost. Go and do your own.....and show us how its done.....if you remain on top my matter, you have alot of catching up to do. |

Sapasenator: And you think he is having any fun looking lost like a puppy separated from the mother's titties?
Lost in an empty stairwell, deserted car park and op looking sad in the picture? To think he spent his hard earned money to roam an empty car lot? No one will even talk to him.
Na, does not look like a vacation to me, op might wan brag for office say him go Europe when he returns. Poverty and bad mouth....begats suicide.
