When butt enhancement goes horribly wrong: Woman left with hideous bulge after implant "flips inside out" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVxzHliUrpQ A shocking video emerged today showing a grotesque bulge in a woman's buttock apparently caused when her botched silicone implant 'flipped inside out'. Instead giving her a smooth, plump appearance, the implant has popped out and is left protruding in an ugly disc shape at the back of her cheek. In the clip, the unidentified woman slowly manipulates it back into place while explaining: 'This is my implant flipping backwards'. She adds: 'I don't think an implant's supposed to do that. It shouldn't be able to flip.' One user, Donna Wright-Levy, commented: 'I prefer to go harder on the squats, lunges, hamstring curls and the gluteous kickbacks...' Kader SmileyFace said: 'Uh!! Why would she want a bigger ass!' It is difficult to establish whether the video is genuine and no details are known about which clinic the woman went to or exactly what type of procedure she had. But BAAPS Member Adrian Richards, a consultant plastic surgeon at Aurora Clinics in the UK, believes the clip is authentic. He said the problem occurs when the implant is not secured firmly enough in a 'pocket' the surgeon creates either between the buttock and the pelvic bone or on top of the gluteus maximus. 'It is a complication which is relatively common following buttock implants. It shouldn't really happen because the pocket should be snug so the implant stays where it is. 'This lady's implant is flat on the bottom and coned on the top, but this one has flipped over.' He said it wouldn't be painful, but would likely need to be removed or the pocket closed up to stop it shifting around. BUTT IMPLANTS: HOW IT'S DONE To insert the implant, an incision is usually made where the cheek meets the back of the thigh or in the buttock crease where the scars are less noticeable. The surgeon then creates a pocket large enough to insert the silicone either under the gluteus maximus muscle or on top of it. Sometimes fat is taken by liposuction from another area of the body to enhance the shape of the buttocks. The surgeon will then make sure both buttocks are symmetrical before stitching up the wounds. But if the pocket is made too big, the implant can slip out. The procedure is normally performed under general anaesthetic. An alternative method involves injecting fat into the buttocks. Buttock implants are popular in South America, where plump bottoms are regarded as sexually desirable. In recent years, plastic surgery experts have been warning women not to have operations in unapproved clinics after a string of deaths and dodgy practices. In April last year, a 42-year-old mother-of-three died after buttock implant surgery at a backstreet Las Vegas clinic. Elena Caro's family begged her not to have the operation, saying she was beautiful as she was, but she went ahead with the surgery. She was found crying in agony and begging for help after an unlicensed Colombian doctor allegedly dumped her by the side of the road when the procedure went wrong and she died in hospital a short time later. In December 2009, a former Miss Argentina who was obsessed with maintaining her youthful looks died following surgery to make her buttocks firmer. Solange Magnano, 38, was rushed to hospital with severe breathing problems after the cosmetic operation. The mother of eight-year-old twins died from a blocked lung artery after spending three days in a critical condition in intensive care. Atlanta woman Kimberly Smedley was jailed for three years in July after injecting customers' buttocks with commercial silicone in hotel rooms and using glue and cotton balls to prevent the substance from leaking out. Federal prosecutors believe Smedley made at least $1.3 million while operating her illegal practice out of hotel rooms in Baltimore, Washington, Detroit, Philadelphia and New York. In cases where silicone jabs are used, the procedure can cause a blood clot to the lungs known as a pulmonary embolism |
An 18-year-old is to appear in court charged with the rapë of an 11-year-old girl. The girl was attacked on Friday, November 23 at around 4.30pm in Enfield, north London, as she walked home from school. She was dragged into nearby Jubilee Park and rapëd in an ordeal that police said could have lasted as long as three hours. The girl, who was wearing her school uniform returned home at around 8pm and was taken to hospital. She had to undergo surgery for injuries sustained in the attack. Detective Inspector Simon Ellershaw said it was "a horrific and unusual attack of a defenceless schoolgirl". She had been making her way home along her usual route, one of Enfield's busiest shortcuts, at the beginning of the Friday afternoon rush hour when she was grabbed. Police have appealed for witnesses and Det Insp Ellershaw said: "Given the significant and unaccounted for amount of time between the incident and the victim's arrival home, we are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her possibly appearing confused or dishevelled following her ordeal. All calls will be treated in the utmost confidence." Opemipo Jaji, 18, has been charged with rapë and attempted rapë and will appear at Enfield Magistrates' Court later. Witnesses or anyone with information that could help police is asked to call the incident room on 0208 345 4326 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/man-charged-over-rape-11-old-girl-065800279.html |

Odusote Bookstores Limited in Ibadan https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/81/2003_Odusote_Bookstores_signage_Lagos_Nigeria_12128073.jpg Odusote Bookstores Limited in Ibadan Ola Odusote 1925 - 2001 Mr. Odusote shunned publicity and was uneasy in a crowd, hence no readily available pictures. Ola Odusote had no befitting national recognition or honour from the country he humbly served so well and for so long. Extract: He was unashamed and clear-sighted enough to declare that although he was studying History, he was ultimately going to go into business. For this distinction, his colleagues had a nickname for him. He was called 'Pounds, Shillings and Pence.' The sobriquet was apt and accurate. Ola Odusote eminently earned lots of pounds, shillings and pence in the course of his illustrious career in the book trade Upon graduation, he did further studies in Education and taught at Molusi College, Ijebu-Igbo under late Tai Solarin. In 1956 he became the pioneer Principal of Oyan Grammar School and the founding Principal of African Church Grammar School, Ibadan, in 1961. Back in Ibadan, things began to crystallise. His experience selling books under his brother, his dream in the university to run business and his will to succeed came to the fore. He started business with odds and ends including selling firewood, and finally took on his love-the selling of books. Bookselling is the arena Ola Odusote dominated and in which he created a solid landscape for himself beyond the shores of Nigeria. This is where he shone the most, and with the blessing of God and truly hard work, his name became synonymous with books and was a household word in Nigeria. There were other bookshops in the city of Ibadan before his when he started in 1963, but he was undeterred. He had the salient qualities to make it succeed He had self-discipline (remember he was a strict disciplinarian as a teacher), he had had a stint at it with his brother (which gave him a good background knowledge in Bookselling), he could work hard (which was not new to him considering how he made all his achievements), he was shrewd and pragmatic. With funding from his late cousin, Albert Ogunkoya, a.k.a Area Father, he assembled his team and began to build his book empire. With solid education and honesty of purpose, he quickly distinguished himself among the pack and very soon he left them behind in his trail. When the late former Prime Minister of England and head of the Macmillan Publishing Company, Harold Macmillan, visited Nigeria in 1979 and a bookshop had been showcased, it was Odusote Bookstores in Ibadan that he visited. When I joined him, his reputation was already made as a successful bookseller; all he did was to give me the latitude along with my colleagues to help the bookshop reach unprecedented heights. I can only illustrate with a few of the things he did remarkably well in confirmation of his greatness. For some time we grappled with repairmen who tinkered with some of our electronic gadgets in the office without much success. Mr. Odusote told me he had an answer to the problem. He said we should find a gifted student in electronics and award him a scholarship. So feelers were sent out for schools to send us that gifted student. Student after student came and they did not meet our test. Then one day, Mr. Odusote rushed to my office to announce that the student we had been looking for had finally been found. The student demonstrated his skill with some crude wires., empty packets of cigarettes and some other contraptions and was able to receive radio waves to Mr. Odusote's utter amazement. He concluded that that was the talent we were looking for. And so I went to my office to write the letter of scholarship offer. In the process, Mr. Odusote walked in and halted me. He directed that I should first employ the student as a worker so that we could measure his character and determine whether he was worthy of his scholarship. So the letter swiftly changed to one of immediate appointment. Three months later, the police had to be called in to walk the student out of the shop as he proved to have more expertise as a thief. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Naija-news/message/1355?var=1&p=1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evans_Brothers_Limited |

Thug, 34, admits punching 16-year-old girl unconscious in shocking random street attack caught on CCTV - Michael Ayoade, 34, ran up behind Tasneem Kabir as she walked to college and smacked her around the head - Ayoade jogged away as the 16-year-old lay unconscious on the ground in Plaistow, East London - When arrested Ayoade told police he was intimidated by the petite teen and that 'she started it', Thames Magistrates' Court was told https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/11/23/article-2237501-162958AC000005DC-115_634x425.jpg The sudden blow left the teenager - who fell face first onto the concrete - unconscious A thug has admitted knocking a 16-year-old girl unconscious in an unprovoked street attack that left her with broken teeth and a split lip. A court heard Michael Ayoade, 34, who smacked petite teenager Tasneem Kabir around the head as she was walking to college in east London, told police: 'She started it'. He was arrested thanks to an anonymous tip-off after police released CCTV footage of the shocking attack, which showed Ayoade casually jogging away while Miss Kabir lay unconscious on the ground. Ayoade later told police that the petite 16-year-old 'didn't have a friendly face', that he was 'intimidated by her' and that she 'made me feel like a pauper with her facial gestures'. He said he couldn’t cope with 'taking an insult from a little person like that'. Miss Kabir had left home with her brother shortly after 12.30pm on November 13, but realised she had forgotten her phone and went back to retrieve it as her brother walked on. Prosecutor Bandana Batra told Thames Magistrates Court: 'She remembers seeing the defendant looking at her from the other side of the road as she went back. 'As she came out he was inside the gates to her street and she says he approached her and was within 30cm of her face. She found this strange but she carried on walking. 'Miss Kabir was then walking along High Road, Plaistow and all she remembers next was waking up in the ambulance,' the lawyer said. Ayoade had followed the teenager, launching his surprise attack as she passed the Black Lion pub. Ms Batra said: 'He started jogging up behind Miss Kabir and he struck her her on the side of the head causing her to lose consciousness and that’s why she doesn’t remember what happened.' The girl hit the ground face first following the blow from Ayoade. Ms Batra said: 'It was an unprovoked attack on in a lone female. She is pretty petite in size - you can see the size of Mr Ayoade.' When police were searching for her then mystery attacker, Miss Kabir had said: 'I hope he does get caught so he doesn’t do it again to another person. I hope I am his last victim.' Police received an anonymous phone call informing them of Ayoade's address. Officers discovered cannabis at his home in Plaistow and he pleaded guilty to possession of a class C drug on November 21. Ms Batra said: 'He said he admitted to doing it, it was a misunderstanding on his part. He had had too much to drink and smoke that day.' 'He said he was going about his business and was intimidated by her look, she looked like she wanted a fight. She looked about 19 or 20. He did not approve of the way she looked so he went back and punched her....He said "Nah, that hurt, I can’t go further in my day taking an insult from a little person like that".' 'He thought to himself “No, no I am not taking this”,' the lawyer said. 'He never spoke to her, just punched her.' Marianna Christou, defending, said that Ayoade had come to the UK from Nigeria when he was just three years old, and had to fend from himself from young age. He was said to have no contact with his family. Ms Christou said: 'He has drunk since he was 16 and smokes up to 10 joints a day which in my submission is excessive and perhaps this causes some degree of paranoia and low self esteem.' Ayoade was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Inner London Crown Court on a date to be fixed. Conman Oluwamayola Ajayi, 31, preyed on four single women on popular dating website Match.com using a series of aliases and outlandish stories to fleece them of their cash. He even sent email threats, purportedly from a captor, claiming he had been kidnapped and would be killed if a ransom was not paid. Ajayi, who was nominated for best international act at the 2011 Gospel Music Awards under his stage name MaioJoe, was jailed for conspiracy to defraud at Snaresbrook Crown Court with Judge Sarah Paneth saying that it was clear he intended to defraud his victims 'for much more money' than he did. He blew all the money on a luxury lifestyle, including a holiday to South Africa. Judge Paneth added: 'This was not money these women had to spare, it was money they needed back urgently. 'Having spent all of their money you pursued them for more by saying you would be killed if they did not pay.' The court heard how he gained the women’s trust before persuading them to hand over their savings to fund business enterprises insisting the cash would be repaid. His victims, who all live in America and Canada, were ‘completely taken in’ by his elaborate lies. They were left humiliated and some were financially ruined by the scam, which ran between November 2009 and August 2010. One victim handed over more than $125,000 (now £78,662) from her late husband’s life savings and dead mother’s estate, which she had earmarked for retirement. Another disabled woman from Nova Scotia was duped into giving Ajayi almost $38,000 (£23,913) after he pretended to be Travis David McFly, a United States Airforce pilot serving in Iraq. Prosecutor Markus Rickard said: ‘He told a story to her about some gold bars he had found and that he wanted to get them out of Iraq so they could secure their financial future. ‘This inevitably led to the woman having supply money via an intermediary in London, to enable the gold bars to be taken from Iraq. ‘She was completely taken in by him and intended to spend the rest of her life with him. ‘At one point, she arranged to meet him at an airport and waited for five hours for him, but he did not turn up. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/11/19/article-2235191-161CAE8F000005DC-368_634x286.jpg Conned: the women who were fleeced by Ajayi all used the popular dating website match.com This has left her flat broke and deeply embarrassed.’ Ajayi pocketed around $30,000 (£18,873) from another internet lover, leaving her in financial dire straits. The singer also posed as a project manager in the oil and gas industry to fleece $7,000 (£4,404) from his final victim, telling her he needed the cash for expenses including a ‘Crude Oil Lifting Licence’. He told all but one of the women that he was a white widower with children from Britain called Mark West, who was currently living in the US. Ajayi funnelled his ill-gotten gains through false bank accounts, mainly using the fictional identity of Jose Fernando Rodrigues-Guedes. Mr Rickard added: ‘The defendant systematically and repeatedly misrepresented himself to lonely females using the internet and cheated them out of £120,000 from November 2009 until August 2010. ‘The victims of his deceptions have been left embarrassed and fearful and they have all suffered substantial financial loss or ruin.’ Ajayi was arrested last August at the home he shares with his wife in Chadwell Heath, Essex. During interview in a prepared statement, he insisted one of his victims was the girlfriend of a friend who owed him money. He claimed he used an account in the name of Rodrigues-Guedes as he did not have one in his own name. The computer equipment on which police found scores of emails with money transfers, credit card details, bank statements, personal information and photographs belonged to the ‘real’ Rodrigues-Guedes, Ajayi claimed. But Rodrigues-Guedes has never been found, prompting police to believe he is simply an identity dreamed up by Ajayi to carry out his con. Ajayi denied conspiracy to defraud, fraud, concealing criminal property, using criminal property and two counts of possessing articles for use in frauds. He was unanimously convicted by a jury on all counts after a trial after admitting a single count of possessing a false identity document with intent. A spokesman for match.com today urged users to follow its safety guidelines when online dating. He said: 'Sadly the tiny minority of people who try to exploit others is not confined to dating sites or even the internet, it’s across all walks of life. 'We urge our members to follow the safe dating guidance we provide across our site and via email when meeting new people, whether that’s online, through friends or in a bar. 'Most importantly requests for money or financial assistance are not acceptable. 'You should never send money to anyone you meet online; just as you would never give money to someone you recently met in a pub or cafe https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/11/19/article-0-161BC701000005DC-965_306x558.jpg Conman: Ajayi, pictured, used a string of identities including posing as a pilot, oil executive and grieving widower to fleece four women out of their cash Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2235191/Oluwamayola-Ajayi-posed-pilot-oil-exec-widower-match-com-steal-120k-lonely-women.html#ixzz2Ch5XwfaD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnOwU6Gs8XY |

And the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him" - Gen 2:18 KJV Legend conveys the belief that most men lauded for having achieved dizzying levels of success are in fact rather ordinary chaps who would not have climbed nearly so high had they not yoked themselves to exceptional women. Had the men married differently, their success would have been some lucky other fellow's lot. Arguably it is the wife who is the making of the one she marries rather than the husband who daily toils in pursuit of his advancement. Another twist to confirm a popular conceit is that the sole proper occupation of an ambitious woman is that of working behind the scenes to ensure her spouse's success. She's not the one who is to labor towards becoming President or a bank manager or the CEO of a thriving company; her role instead is to guide & steer the man she marries to those heights, her duly assigned place to be standing adoringly and silently at his side when the laurels are being tossed. |
One night President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn't too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the President's Secret Service if he could please speak to the First Lady, Michelle in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner. Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, "Why was he so interested in talking to you?" She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, "So if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant," to which Michelle responded, "No. If I had married him, he would now be the President." |
