Wizkid & Davido’s Crew Clash In Dubai, Wizkid Allegedly Punched By Davido’s Crew - Photos/Video What is wrong with this two young and best artists in Nigeria? I know there is no room for two captain in a ship but you guys should try to manage your differences. Wizkid and Davido's crew reported clashed violently in Dubai yesterday night and this is not good for business. This is supposed to be a night of African music as the One Africa Music Festival went down at the Madinat Jumeirah Al Sufough, Dubai. With performances from 2Baba, Tekno, Emma Nyra, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Flavour, Banky W, Vanessa Mdee, Victoria Kimani, and much more, it was quite a thrilling affair for lovers of African music. The problem is there are reports from Dubai that Wizkid and Davido’s team clashed, after Wizkid reportedly punched one of Davido’s team members. I suppose is a matter of time they clashed physically because they have been going against each other on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, you name it and it all started when; Davido threw a shade at the Wizkid and call his award local. Wizkid replied of course….. Davido didn’t stop there, he also said, after his MTV win, that his Afrima awards are already peeling, adding that his MTV Award can never peel. Then, one of Davido’s Team member, his cousin, Clark Adeleke came for the starboy, and claimed the only Hit he’s got is his picture with Nicki Minaj. The details are sketchy though and we are waiting for either of them to confirm the altercation via their social handles but for now, see the video of the altercation as well as the video of Davido and Wizkid’s performance at the Music Festival below... more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/11/wizkid-davidos-crew-clash-duba-wizkid.html cc lalasticlala mynd44

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has blamed the political woes of Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe on his "Jezebel wife" Grace Mubage. According Mr. Kayode, Mugabe's downfall began when his first wife died and he got married to Grace. According to FFK; The greatest tragedy of the Mugabe story is that he ended up with the wrong woman. Had Sally (his first wife) lived things would have been far better. Sadly she died and he ended up getting married to a demon-possessed Jezebel called Grace who has the spirit of Lady Macbeth. It should be noted that Mr. Fani-Kayode's assertion has been echoed by some other political analyst and journalist, particularly Daily Nation News, Zimbabwe. According to them; President Robert Mugabe's downfall was caused by the ambitions of his combative wife Grace, whose emergence as his likely successor proved a step too far for Zimbabwe's military, analysts say. Grace Mugabe — 41 years younger than her husband — was once dismissed as a lightweight shopping addict. But she became increasingly active in public life in recent years, and became the frontrunner to take the top job when Mugabe last week sacked her arch-rival, vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa. The military — determined to stop Grace, 52, being named as the new vice president — moved in on Wednesday, taking control of the country and signalling the imminent end of Mugabe's rule. Ugandan Activist Stella Nyanzi Cries Out - May God Disgrace Uganda President, Museveni Out Of Office Like Mugabe A controversial Ugandan activist and Makerere University lecturer, Stella Nyanzi, has prayed and called unto God to do to Uganda President, Yoweri Museveni the same thing he has done to Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe. She made this prayer/call on her Facebook page and prayed that all their armory be used to disgrace him and his caucus out of the office and may people watch it over the internet and TV like Zimbabwean's mayhem. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni's style is similar to that of Mugabe and he is a Ugandan politician who has been President of Uganda and has been in power for 40 decades since 29 January 1986. Museveni was involved in rebellions that toppled Ugandan leaders Idi Amin and Milton Obote. See her post below... "Oh God, I earnestly pray that you abundantly bless the Musevenis with the same blessings you gave to the Mugabes this week. May the ammunition and armoured trucks they bought be used to cut them off from the world. May they be besieged and arrested in their house for days. May the world watch Museveni's overthrow on television and the internet. May they watch the news for days as Ugandans boldly celebrate their downfall. Give the president one phone call from a friendly neighbouring president who will proceed to confirm to the world that indeed the leopard is under house arrest. May the wife flee and leave behind every morsel of state-power she ever inherited from her husband. Please do to the Musevenis as you have done to the Mugabes. Amen!" The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo yesterday, said the decision by President Muhammadu Buhari to take only half of his salary was what made him (the Vice-President) to do same. Prof. Osinbajo said this at the public presentation of a book, “Making Steady, Sustainable Progress for Nigeria’s Peace and Prosperity” at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja. In his words; “Some things have not been included in the book and I might just supply some of that. One of such things is the exemplary frugality, the honesty and humility, and sense of humour of Mr President. “That frugality can sometimes be a problem. As you know, Mr President decided that since government provides accommodation, food and transportation for the President and the Vice-President, we didn’t need a full salary. “Now, how much is this salary by the way? It is public knowledge and I think it is N1,750,000.00 or so, which is under N2 million. He said he would take only half of his salary and so I had no choice but also to take half of my own salary. “Unfortunately, Mr President turned down my request, to give the other half to a worthy cause – his Vice-President. He didn’t consider me a more worthy cause to give half of his salary! “In a country where politicians sometimes want to be as wealthy as Dangote, it is refreshing to have a President who most people won’t even dare to discuss any private benefit on a project with let alone a bribe or a kick-back.” While describing corruption as Nigeria’s major problem, he added that the menace was the main reason for the depletion of the nation’s resources, such that the country had no savings when oil prices fell. Osinbajo said it was the prudence and honesty of the President that ensured that despite the economic downturn, the Federal Government was able to support the states, spend N1.3 trillion on capital expenditure, the largest in the history of the nation, and also ensure it met all our other obligations, both foreign and local. Continuing, Osinbajo said; “Mr. President’s unassuming personality and humility, is in my view, probably his greatest strength. This is why he is never flattered, or carried away by praise or adulation. “He has always said ‘I don’t pretend to know all the answers. I am here to provide stability and leadership, to a generation, a group of people, determined to run this country honestly, to provide jobs and prosperity to the poor, and our huge youth population.’ “I remember when he was on medical vacation, and I was speaking to him on the phone fairly regularly and giving him a rundown of what was going on, especially when he was on the first medical vacation. He said to me, ‘don’t worry about telling me all that is happening, I rely on your judgment keep doing your best, what if I drop dead?! You would have to run it anyway.’ “I had to say to him, that his dropping dead was not part of the plan.” Osinbajo said the ultimate benefit of public service was the ability to touch millions of lives for good or for ill, by governmental policies and actions. “The greatest challenge is how to take the tough decisions, do the difficult things, and keep the people’s support. “I suppose you cannot be a Buhari and shy away from tough decisions, and the President has not been afraid to take the bold decisions even when they are criticised. “What has happened so far under this government is the tough business of laying strong foundations. The first, is honesty and good governance, and prudence in government spending. “The second is in ensuring that we have an infrastructure that can sustain our economy, not now, but in the next decades. For the first time, in at least a decade, we are spending 30% on capital expenditure,”. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/11/how-president-buhari-made-me-cut-my.html

Billionaire Aliko Dangote has made a move which has thrown business world in a little turmoil. Dangote Noodles Limited, a unit of Nigerian company Dangote Flour Mills, has sold two production lines to rival pasta maker De United Foods Industries for N3.75 billion ($12.26 million), the company said on Tuesday. De United Foods said it has signed an agreement with Dangote Noodles to buy plants at its Ikorodu and Calabar factories. It would also buy stock worth 383.94 million naira. The deal comes after Dangote sold a small stake in its cement business to foreign investors in a one-off stock market deal valued at N27 billion. Dangote Flour Mills, majority owned by Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote, had said it wanted to quit the noodles business to focus on flour and pasta production, analysts say. Nigeria’s noodle market is fiercely competitive and De United with a market share of around 70 percent is seeking to consolidate the sector. Privately-held Dangote Industries Limited, with interests in agriculture, real estate and truck assembly, bought back the flour unit it had sold to South Africa’s Tiger Brand for $1 in 2015 after it posted losses. Shares in Dangote Flour Mills have more than doubled so far this year after rising 276 percent last year. The stock price was down 3.17 percent on Tuesday at 9.20 naira. Dufil Prima Foods, the parent of De United Foods, is a privately held company set up over two decades ago, which has grown to become the largest pasta maker in West Africa. De United said the transaction had been approved by both companies and the regulators. A banking source close to the deal said that De United would continue to produce noodles under the Dangote brand for two years after the acquisition. In July Dufil Prima Foods said it would raise 40 billion naira in the local debt market to broaden its funding base. President Buhari Attends The Grand Finale Of APC Governorship Campaign In Akwa, Anambra State - Video/Photos The President Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari is live in Akwa, the capital city of Anambra State to witness the grand finale of APC Governorship Campaign as they flagged it up for election coming soon. Almost all the APC big wigs were present at the ceremony and it is still ongoing and being televised by NTA International. The ceremony is peaceful and the president attended even without any incident considering the treats the IPOB youths were issuing here and there. Those in attendance includes by not limited to; APC National Chairman John Oyegun, Imo State governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, Senator Chris Ngige, former senate president, Ken Nnamani etc. One thing that stood out and calls for concern from the ceremony is that Mr. President couldn't address its party members and supported for more than 10 minutes. When he came on stage, his address lasted just the duration of 5 to 7 minutes. This shades light on how healthy the Nigeria president is. Following successful challenge of his unwarranted suspension in the court of law, the Nigeria Senate has recalled its former leader, Mohammed Ali Ndume. He is expected to resume in plenary tomorrow. Some Senators have disagreed with the chamber’s counsel, Mike Ozekhome (SAN) for proceeding on appeal against the High Court judgment that declared Ndume’s suspension illegal without the resolution of members. Ozekhome has filed a notice of appeal against Friday’s judgment of Justice Babatunde Quadri of the Federal High Court, Abuja which declared Ndume’s suspension as illegal, null and void. The appellants are Senate President Bukola Saraki and the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges, Samuel Anyanwu. A ranking Senator who begged anonymity said; “So far, we have not agreed at the Executive Session to go to the Court of Appeal on this matter. We are all war wearied, we want peace now, we are tired of any row among us. “Even the High Court refused to award cost in the spirit of engendering peace and harmony in the Senate. We will prefer to broker peace between the Senate President and Ndume.” Another Senator from the South-East said: “I think our counsel was only acting on the basis of law but we will rather proffer political solution to the judgment of the High Court. It is not every time you go to court.” More @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/11/following-court-order-senate-has.html

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has sentenced two former officials of the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, OAGF, Mohammed Dogonyaro Audu (also known as Abdullahi Dogonyaro Mohammed) and Yahaya Ayodeji. The conviction was secured yesterday by the EFCC. Justice Yusuf Halilu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, sitting in Jabi, Abuja found them guilty of a 10-count charge bordering on criminal conspiracy and complicity in award of contract to the tune of N1billion (One billion naira). The suspects allegedly abused their offices by floating companies through which they cornered contracts emanating from the Economic Reforms and Governance Project, ERGP, and Government Integrated Financial Management Information System, GIFMIS, domiciled in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation. Audu and Ayodeji had pleaded “not guilty” to the charges when they were arraigned on May 26, 2015. In the course of the trial, counsel to the EFCC, Cosmas Ugwu, presented three witnesses and tendered relevant documents which were all admitted in evidence. Delivering his judgment, Justice Halilu said the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt adding that, as public servants, the convicts abused their offices. “I am not expected to remove or add anything before me. They (Audu and Ayodeji) took advantage of their offices and did what they did. For me, I do what my conscience and the law directs me to do”, the judge ruled. He thereafter found Audu guilty on counts 1 to 10 and sentenced him to seven years on each count without an option of fine. Ayodeji was found guilty on counts 1, 3, 4, 5 and 9 and also sentenced to seven years on each count. The sentences are to run concurrently. Around 3,000 retired Primary School teachers in Oyo State yesterday staged a protest over their unpaid pension arrears running to 56 months. The old men and women started the protest from the secretariat of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), and proceeded to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Agodi Ibadan and later to the government secretariat. The former teachers, under the aegis of the National Union of Pensioners in Oyo, said they could not bear the waves of hunger again after several months of unfulfilled promises by the state government. The Deputy Governor, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo and the Secretary to the state Government, Alhaji Olalekan Alli appealed to the aggrieved retirees saying the governor was out of the country. According to the Deputy Governor; “We feel for your plight. However, the Governor has travelled out of the country at the moment, and I cannot do anything about your plight until the governor comes back. The governor will grant an audience with your executives when he returns.” The state NLC chairman, Waheed Olojede said; “We have made several efforts from the union to make the government settle the arrears but all meetings we have had so far have not yielded any results. “So, when they gathered at the NLC secretariat this morning (yesterday), I could not stop them. They are being owed between 17 and 56 months. Tell me, how you can stop them even when the government has not shown any positive action. Many of these old people have suffered and died waiting for their legitimate entitlements. You can’t believe that some of these pensioners receive as low as N3,000, N4,000 and yet they are not paid regularly.” more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/11/more-than-3000-oyo-pensioners-stage.html cc mynd44 lalasticlala

Is so sad to lose a lovely and talented actor. Actor and filmmaker Obi Madubogwu, who died on Monday, August 28, 2017, has been laid to rest on Friday, November 10, 2017, in his hometown Ogidi in Anambra State. The internment was followed by an outing service on Sunday, November 12, at St Philips Anglican Church, Nkwere Ogidi, Anambra State. Before his demise, Madubogwu battled with a diabetic wound and had sought financial support for surgery, tests and medications but was unable to get it. While some will remember the actor for his lead role in the 1996 film "Battle of Musanga," Madubogwu made an impact on popular culture with his role as James in "Conspiracy." The late actor starred in the 1999 movie alongside Onyeka Onwenu, Charles Okafor, Larry Koldsweat and Nkem Owoh. His last cinematic outing was the 2015 movie "Grave Dust," which was produced by him and starred Ramsey Nouah, Joke Silva and Joseph Benjamin. His other movie roles include "Mark of the Beast," "Mothers-in-Law," "The Last Vote" among others. May his soul rest in peace.
